Marvel all the way. DC always tries to turn comic book superheroes into characters with layers of emotional depth. Never a good idea. If I only want to watch movies with serious characters and serious themes, then I will watch movies like "12 years a Slave", "Schindler's List"
" The Colour Purple" etc.

Comic book characters are just that: They are comic book characters. If you try to make them more than that,( which is what DC always tries to do) then you'll only end up losing most of your audience.

We only watch super hero movies to see incredible special effects , clever and witty word play, and clever storylines. Marvel ALWAYS delivers on all of these qualities. DC could borrow a leaf.

RIP to my late friend Ishaq Modibo. He was formerly Isaac Modibo but he converted to ISLIME and ironically he has now become one of the latest victims of Islimic terrorism. He was one of the 50 people who lost their lives to the recent suicide bombing in Adamawa State.

If Isaac had not been a fool he would still be alive now.

Sometimes the hardest lesson you learn in life can turn out to be your last one.

Hope Isaac/Ishaq is halfway through his sex marathon with the 72 virgins he was promised. Otherwise he will be bitterly disappointed. ..

I will answer your question by using the logic of your Koran. Normally, I never quote the Koran because it is an unreliable book, but I’m making an exception because of you. What does the following verse from the Koran mean:

“O you who believe, do not approach the Salat while you are drunk, until you know what you are saying.Quran 4:43”

Does it mean:

A. That the Koran allows a man to consume alcohol as long as he stays away from prayer after drinking the alcohol? Or;

B. That the Koran considers alcohol as something which makes prayer unacceptable?

I’m sure you will choose option (b) even though option (a) is equally as logical as (b).

In the same way that Quran 4: 43 does not tell muslims that they should consume alcohol, the Bible verses you quoted (Exodus 21:10 & Deuteronomy 21:15) do not make it mandatory that Christians should practice polygamy. They only say that those who practice it should do so responsibly.

There are so many verses in the Bible where God speaks his mind about marriage and whenever he does, he always speaks about marriage as a union between a man and a woman, not a man and several women:

Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Mat_19:5And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

Mat_19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Deu 17:17 He whom you choose as a King over you shall not multiply wives to himself, so that his heart turn not away..

Eph_5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

1Ti_3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

By practising polygamy, David and Solomon violated God’s law in Deuteronomy 17:17 and so they will stand before Jesus on Judgment Day and render account of their disobedience just like any other man.

Your “prophet” of islam will also stand before Jesus and render account for all the women he raped like Safiya the wife of Kinana and the 800 Jewish boys he beheaded. He will also explain why he broke up the marriage of Zaid and Zainab for no other reason than to satisfy his lust.

These verses are not in any way commands that people should engage in polygamy. They are only instructions that those who do choose polygamy should practice it responsibly.

God's true standard for marriage was the one he set with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The first person to practice polygamy in the Bible was Lamech and he is described as a "rude ruffian" Genesis 4:18-24.

If that is the standard your "prophet" follows then no wonder yours is such a messed up religion.

And yes, just in case you didn't understand the first time around, David, Solomon, Abraham, Lot etc were indeed sinners their sins are recorded in the Bible along with their punishment.

Christ has divine origins and he kept himself pure and chaste, and that is why he lived a sinless life. Christians are called upon to follow Christ's example by repenting from sin and living holy lives.

On the other hand, when muslims try to live like their prophet the result is always chaos.

Solomon had 300 wives and 700 concubines.

David had multiple wives. Most Popular Prophets from the old testament had multiple wives. why?

And never anywhere does the Bible forbid marriage. Jesus and John not marrying is because they were not destined to marry!

After his first wife Sarah passed away because of old age, Abraham married a woman called Keturah. Hagar was not Abraham’s wife, she was simply a surrogate whose only purpose was to provide Abraham with an heir. So Abraham is exempt from your list of polygamists.

As for all the others, such as Solomon, David, Lot, it is only MOOslims who regard them as “prophets.” Your illiterate “prophet” Muhammad had a hard time distinguishing the figures of the old testament according to what they were. Solomon and David were Kings of Israel and not “prophets.” They were ordinary men and sinners who will be judged for their sins just like everybody else.

A true prophet serving a real God would never have been charmed in the first place.

As for sleeping with wives shouldn't a prophet be a man of self denial who is above the simple pleasures of the flesh? Your "prophet" was indeed a very carnal man. Unlike Jesus and John The Baptist who lived lives of abstinence and devotion God's will.

With regard to worldly matters: this happened to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). With regard to agriculture, medicine, carpentry, etc., he was like all other people. Allaah did not tell us that he was sent to us as a businessman or a farmer or a carpenter or a doctor. His mistakes in these fields are quite natural and do not impact on his Message at all.

We note that the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) made a mistake in this worldly matter, because he was like all other human beings, but with regard to matters of religion he did not make mistakes.

And we do not deny that our Prophet was mortal and a human being just like other Prophets/Messengers before him (like Abraham, Noah, Jesus and others Peace be upon them all). Prophets may commit minor sins but never major sins!

Only Allah is far from making mistakes and immortal!
