Higher jumper, Temitope Adeshina, who made her second appearance in competitive meets in the USA, has shattered the national high jump record held by DoreeN Amata since 2016.

Adeshina who joined the Texas Tech School athletics team in 2023, cleared the height of 1.96m to erase Amata’s 1.93m indoor and 1.95 outdoor records on Friday at the Corky Classic in Texas.

Reacting to the development Athletics Federation of Nigeria president, Chief Tonobok Okowa noted that it was thrilling to know that Adeshina is fast becoming a world class athlete.

“It’s a heart warming performance by Adeshina, it’s a world leading performance and I am banking on her to improve on that record.

“It’s a sign of good things to come as we prepare for the African Games and the Olympics this year,” said Okowa.

Adeshina who narrowly missed the World Championships last year in Budapest with her previous personal best of 1.83m had always looked forward to competing at the World level and with her consistent performances it wouldn’t be out of place for her to dream of a podium finish at the Olympics. The 1.96m is just a fraction below the Olympics qualification standard.

At the Corky Classic she opened her day with 1.85m, she followed up with 1.88 and 1.96, before landing the big jump.

On Femi and Loretta's Graduation day, Tunji, Femi's elder brother, was in attendance. That was when Loretta met him for the very first time because Tunji is a busy and never around guy, though very wealthy. Tunji has done well for himself as a soldier and money is never his problem.

Tunji took interest in Loretta and later got married to her while Femi relocated to Germany.
Few years down the line Femi decided to come back home and went to put up in his brother's house but his brother was on duty that week and out of town, but he told Femi to be free enough to come to his house that his wife was around, and he will be back in a week's time.
One thing led to another in the space of the one week and Femi slept with Loretta.

Now Loretta has come to her senses and feeling guilty for cheating on her husband with her husband brother.

Intercession 1: FATHER, by the revelation of YOUR Word, empower me for exploits through this ongoing revival.
Dan. 11:32: Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their GOD shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.

Intercession 2: FATHER, we invoke vengeance upon all resistances of the devil against the salvation of souls across our harvest field this year.
Ps. 94:1: O Lord GOD, to whom vengeance belongs— O GOD, to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth!

Intercession 3: FATHER, give us the heathen for our inheritance and the uttermost part of the earth for our possession all through this year.
Ps. 2:8: Ask of ME, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.

Intercession 4: FATHER, let every Winner experience higher dimension of spiritual growth this year, resulting in supernatural breakthroughs in all areas of life.

Meet Vivian Mildred Bailey (née Corbett; February 3, 1918 – May 1, 2022) an American World War II veteran, civil servant, and volunteer. She was a fundraiser for education, health, and military service personnel. Bailey was one of the first African American officers in the Women's Army Corps and served as a commander of the Women's Colored Detachment. Bailey was a division director in the Social Security Administration.

Vivian Mildred Corbett was born in Washington, D.C., on February 3, 1918. Her mother moved the children back to her hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, after Bailey's father was deployed for World War I. She attended segregated schools. She knew historian John Hope Franklin from her upbringing in Tulsa.

Bailey was one of only two black women to earn superior rank at her officer's course. She received her commission as a first lieutenant in Fort Des Moines Provisional Army Officer Training School and served in the Women's Army Corps from 1943 to 1946.

Bailey became second in command of the Women's Colored Detachment at Fort McClellan. She later served as a commander of the all-female detachment before being selected to attend the Adjutant General School Officers' Administration Course. As one of only two Black women in the class, she graduated with outstanding marks and went on to serve for the first time with an unsegregated unit.

After leaving the U.S. Army, Bailey moved to Chicago and worked for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and the Social Security Administration. In 1970, she transferred to the Social Security office in Baltimore as a division director and retired in 1975.

Bailey was an active community volunteer and fundraiser for education, health, and the military. From 1966, Bailey collected, packed, and shipped CARE packages for U.S. Military service members. From 1982 to 1993, Bailey served on the Maryland Health Resources Planning Commission and was involved with the approval of the first Magnetic resonance imaging and CT scanners in the state. She left the commission to join the Howard County General Hospital board of trustees where she served for 23 years before stepping down in 2015.

Bailey met her future husband, William Bailey, on April 10, 1943, the same day she was commissioned. They married after leaving the U.S. Army. The couple had no children. In 1970, they moved to Columbia, Maryland, where Bailey resided for the rest of her life. She enjoyed traveling and had been to fifty countries as of 2013. For her 100th birthday wish, Bailey expressed a desire for true equality for future generations. In 2020, she went skydiving at the age of 102. Bailey died in Ellicott City, Maryland, on May 1, 2022, at the age of 104.
