A high Court in Ado-Ekiti, yesterday, sentenced a 21-year old man, Isa Abdulkareem, to death by hanging for armed robbery, in Ekiti state.

Abdulkareem was arraigned on a two-count charge of conspiracy and armed robbery on the 8th of January 8, 2019.

Delivering judgment, Justice Oluwatoyin Abodunde held that the prosecuting counsel was able to prove that the alleged armed robbery happened.

Justice Abodunde added that the prosecution counsel was able to “prove every element of robbery with veracious evidence that has probative values”.
