You maybe reliably informed but I can tell you with authority that if you obtain high score in the test and meet the minimum requirement for the job role, you will be invited for interview. I know a guy who doesn't even have a 2.1 but works at Saipem, he received interview invite for Wells Quality Specialist role. He knew ahead of time he was gonna be called after he aced his test.
Global recruiters are responsible for shortlisting.
If you impress the panel during the interview stage, you will get the offer. They want the best hands for their operations. It's a 99% merit based system. Let no one be deceived.

From the content of the message it sounded like all the Roles must have gotten the invite, because it was stated those that applied for more than one position should take the test only once
