Members of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), have called on the international community, especially the United Nations Organisation (UNO), America, Britain, Israel , Brazil, Germany and France to come to their rescue before they are completely wiped out.

The Movement’s zonal coordinator for Anambra Central, Chief Vincent Iloh, in a statement in Onitsha, on last Saturday invasion of the home of MASSOB leader, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, in Owerri, Imo State, stated however, that no matter the plan of its attackers, the God of Israel has commissioned the Biafran movement in Nigeria.

Iloh said the invasion of Biafran headquarters in Owerri was uncalled for, though provocative.

He restated that MASSOB did not engage in killing people and would not like to lose its members through unwarranted killings.

Iloh said despite the recent directive by the Inspector General of Police, for a total crackdown on MASSOB members, there was no going back on the celebration of the 16th anniversary of the organisation scheduled for September 13, 2015. He insisted that MASSOB members had rights recognised and protected under the United Nations Charter and therefore, should be allowed to exercise those rights unhindered.
