Please help…
1. My dad lost the passport that had his previous visa which expired June 2020. Can he still apply for IW? Wouldn’t it be required at the embassy?

2. My youngest sibling wants to apply with my dad as a dependent but his previous visa expired in June 2018. Can he apply with my dad for IW (incase number 1 above is a yes)?

One of the requirements of IW is that you must be in possession of the passport that contains the previous visa . They will check this before they even collect your passport and when you apply there’s a question specific to this and once you answer no it won’t let you do IW so unfortunately your dad needs a regular appointment. There was no reason for refusal on mine.
I can see finger print ticked there na. Just schedule an appointment and go for finger printing

Your international passport is not supposed to cross into and out of any country without your possession unless sent directly by the Nigerian embassy. They will be wondering why you are not applying from Qatar. I’m sure it’s something you can explain. Stop worrying over this thing so you don’t get no. When u get ur passport you handle it

I don’t know o, I didn’t use the last visa for child birth but I have had 2 kids in the u.s and I’ve renewed drop box after so I don’t know, they are with my passport, how do I even come down sef lol

If it ends up being 221g then nothing to worry about cos it happened to me in my previous visa renewal and they asked me to schedule a follow up interview. I went there and they told me what ticked them off which was that I spent 4 months straight in the us. I was able to prove that it was due to the then hurricane Harvey. I had pictures and all and they renewed for me . It took 9 months though.
