Cycle 45. Took the sabeer test last Friday. I'm yet to receive the technical test or any feedback. How long does it usually take? |
temmyj:Submit what document and for what purpose? Are you applying for a job at the centre? The korean cultural centre does not accept any document for any purpose, unless advertised. The korean cultural centre does not assist in anyway in the processing of admission, unless advertised. |
SpaceX's Falcon Heavy, the world's most powerful rocket, thundered to life and shot away from Florida Tuesday on the power of 27 engines and nearly 5 million pounds of thrust, kicking off a spectacular maiden flight to send founder Elon Musk's cherry red Tesla Roadster on a "just for fun" journey into the asteroid belt well beyond Mars. It was easily the loudest and possibly most dramatic launch from Florida's "Space Coast" since NASA's space shuttle was retired in 2011 with the Falcon Heavy, made up of three strapped-together core stages powered by nine engines each, putting on a dazzling show for tourists and area residents jamming nearby roads and beaches. Spectacular as it was, the launching was just the appetizer for a long- awaited test flight. Eight minutes after the rocket took off, two of the three Falcon 9 core stages that helped power the vehicle out of the lower atmosphere made rocket-powered descents to side-by-side touchdowns at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, generating thunderous sonic booms as they slowed for landing. The central core stage, however, ran out of propellant on the way down and was unable to restart its engines for descent into the lower atmosphere. Instead, it crashed into the Atlantic at about 300 mph, missing the "Of Course I Still Love You" droneship by about the length of a football field, damaging two of the unpiloted ship's thrusters and showering the deck with debris. None of the stages used for Tuesday's flight were to be used again as SpaceX transitions to an upgraded version of the Falcon rocket and recovering the boosters was a secondary test objective. The major goal was demonstrating a new heavy- lift rocket and Musk was thrilled with the mission. "I'm really excited about today, incredibly proud of the SpaceX team," Musk said after launch. "They've done an incredible job of creating what really is the most advanced rocket in the world, the biggest rocket in the world. I'm still trying to absorb everything that happened because it seems surreal to me." www.twitter.com/spacex www.twitter.com/elonmusk https://www.cbsnews.com/news/spacex-falcon-heavy-launch-spectacular-maiden-flight/ seun lalasticlala

dprinz99. download the app memrise. It has a good korean course |
dprinz99:I don't think you'll be awarded a certificate as an external student. call and find out. you should know that the exam has 3 sections, listening, writing and reading and absolutely nothing will be written in english. so you'd have to have a pretty wide vocab range to take the level3, 2 & even 1 exams. id advise you study through ttmik youtube channel but first, koreanwikiproject.com is a website that'll help you get started with the alphabets. Hope I haven't broken and rules posting the link? |
dprinz99:It took me 6 months of nonstop daily study to reach level 3. Im still learning and trying to get a higher level. the goal Is to be fluent within 2years. I bought books which came with cds, 세종한국어1,2&3(sejong institute). They have a website filled with learning resources in pdf. I also used a couple of youtube channels like ttmik(talktomeinkorean). they also have a website with learning resources. id advise you to use their youtube courses. and there's a sejong institute in abuja which i attended and still attending until i leave for korea. look up the Korean cultural centre abuja website for more info. took the sejong level 3 test in the centre in abuja. its equivalent to topik level 3 but it isnt a topik test. But at the moment, they're working on bringing the topik test to nigeria because of rising interest. We're waiting for embassy recommendation at the moment. |
Shugavee:if he screen grabs this very post, you calling him a rapist, gets your mail from nairaland admins and your personal information from your mail, and sues you for slander, what would be your reaction? I understand fully well the kind of person you are now. the coward hiding behind a phone that cant own up to what she posts. |
Shugavee:youre the one being sentimental and ignorant(if you even know what that means). stop portraying women as weak and helpless. |
Shugavee:shugavee and Proudgorgeousga please stop being ignorant. sperm stays in the vagina for 3 days. if raped, go to the hospital and get your region examined for tear and sperm and have it analysed. call the police and inform them of the accused rapist. he ejaculates in a container and Its analysed. if its a match. hes taken to court. the sperm or scratch he left on you is evidence. stop acting so ignorant |
good. rape is terrible. false rape accusations are disgusting. They affect the innocent ladies out there that are genuinely raped by monsters. some girls though, after an altercation/disagreement with a man, will decide to label him a rapist, as some sick form of bullying. |
Everest1989:its not easy. its difficult. |

I learnt myself in abuja. I have a couple korean friends here who also taught me |
Safiaaa:Yeah right... you're on nairaland, a social media platform, telling us the only social media platform you're on is whatsapp. |
I don't find it weird at all. I have a couple of girl friends that have very little or no social media activity at all |
do you have interest in korean culture? |
bonachenko:Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Yes, they require a Topik level3 certificate. Some departments will demand for level 4. I speak korean. |
MhizzAJ:Life's about perspective. added some "WO"rds of wisdom to your unwise ramblings. |
It's gonna happen |
. |
JULIE1925:That would be people who wear bikinis |
Hello acadollar. I will be studying in a university in seoul this August at undergraduate level. Tuition is not an issue but feeding might be. I've got a budget of 2m and unfortunately this is only enough for a year and a couple of months for feeding and dorm. I'm planning on working part-time during the semester and/or full time during weekends and holidays. Considering the current hourly rate, this should patch things up yeah? Is this doable and within the law? |
