WAILUKU, Hawaii (AP) - A judge on the Hawaiian island of Maui has handed down an unorthodox sentence to a man who pleaded no contest to violating a protection order preventing him from contacting his ex-girlfriend. 

Judge Rhonda Loo ordered Daren Young on Friday to write 144 compliments about his ex-girlfriend, in response to the 144 "nasty" text messages and calls that he is accused of sending her.

"For every nasty thing you said about her, you're going to say a nice thing," Loo told Young. "No repeating words."

Young, 30, received time served for spending 157 days in jail before being sentenced, the Maui News reported . Besides being told to pay the compliments, he also received two years of probation, $2,400 in fines and 200 hours of community service.

"It's so childish to think a grown man can be so thumb-happy," Loo said.

Young told Loo he will not reach out to the ex-girlfriend again and is moving forward with his life.

She sought the protection order, which was issued Feb. 22. He was ordered not to contact her, including by phone.

But two months later, Young called and texted her 144 times within a three-hour period, police said.

"I don't know whether I should cut off your fingers or take away your phone to get you to stop texting," Loo told Young. "You probably shouldn't get a phone, period. I hope she changed her number."

Respect as an individual, and as family. This is the best solution we could come to. You guys have been together for quite a long time. Not many groups have done that. What helped the group last as long as it did? Respect. It was respect all through. What made us grow was respect? Not because we’re brothers. Not even because we’re twins. It was because we had respect for each other.

We’ve seen videos of people crying on social media because they heard about the breakup. How do you think fans will handle this transition? Change is constant. I always hear people say blood is thicker than water. I’m married. I did not select a wife for anybody. The question is, who is water? Are my brothers blood and my wife and kids the water? It’s like asking me who is priority. When was the last time your parents decided to look after their siblings more than you?

To the fans, we’re sorry. You don’t want to see P-Square on stage when they just fought back stage; pleasing you guys when we are not happy. I’ve tried many times to make it work but it did not work… I just had to give up for the sake of the respect of our individual families.

Viewers were left outraged last night after a British woman posing as a Muslim was subjected to vile abuse as she walked past her local pub.

Katie Freeman was targeted by drinkers while disguised in a hijab as she took part in an explosive new documentary on Channel 4 called For My Week as a Muslim.

The 42-year-old was taunted in her hometown of Manchester by punters, including one who asked is she planned to 'blow them up', in the same week that a terror attack rocked the city.

However Katie, a former 'ban the burka' campaigner, also came into criticism for claiming early on in the programme that Muslims did not 'dress British'.

As part of the documentary, Katie spent seven days living with with Saima Alvi, 49, and her family.

Katie said she felt 'sickened' by the taunts outside the pub and viewers agreed those responsible should be 'ashamed'.

Others claimed it was Katie who should feel embarrassed after she initially struggled to accept Saima's way of life.

One moment saw Katie explain that she did not think her Manchester-born host 'dressed British', prompting viewers to brand her 'ignorant'.

Just 10 minutes into the hour-long programme, one viewer posted: 'This woman is so awful I can barely watch it.'

Artificially intelligent automatons could soon be having 'children' with their owners, claims the inventor of one of the world's first sex robots.

Sergi Santos predicts a future where humans and machines will marry, using technology to create offspring.

The Spanish engineer has already begun working on a way to achieve this aim, by blending his mind with that of his creation, 'Silicon Samantha'.

Mr Santos says Samantha has improved his marriage of 16 years to fellow designer Martisa Kissamitaki.

He works together with his wife in their laboratory in Barcelona to create the sex dolls, which cost around £2,700 (#1.2M) a piece.

Rather than designing machines that can give birth themselves, Mr Santos says he can merge an android's personality with the characteristics and beliefs of its human partner.


Computer software would then be used to create a new AI brain for the child based on this information, as well as 3D printing schematics for its body.

Speaking to The Sun, Mr Santos said: 'Using the brain I have already created, I would program it with a genome so he or she could have moral values, plus concepts of beauty, justice and the values that humans have.

'Then to create a child with this robot it would be extremely simple.

'I would make an algorithm of what I personally believe about these concepts, and then shuffle it with what she thinks and then 3D print it.

'That's it. I 3D print the robot that is the child of me and the robot, I don't see any complications.'

Silicon Samantha is an AI bot with dark brown hair and piercing green eyes, which Mr Santos claims is even capable of 'emotional closeness'.

The film tells the story of Israeli adventurer Yossi Ghinsberg’s fight for survival in the jungle and was heavily inspired by the real-life tale of Yossi Ghinsberg, who survived alone in a rainforest for three weeks.

A woman has put her younger boyfriend’s loyalty to test after sending her own daughter to try and seduce the man.

A video has shown the shocking moment where a cheater was caught out after flirting with his girlfriend’s daughter on camera.
The woman only identified as Bibi wanted to test her younger boyfriend, so she enlisted the help of her daughter Renee and set up a trap to catch her man out.

Her 26-year-old fella and her daughter are roughly the same age, so the eccentric mum decided that she’d be perfect for the covert operation.
The two had apparently met before, but the lad had never been introduced as Bibi’s boyfriend, so he assumed that Renee thought he was just friends with her mum.

The video, from YouTube channel To Catch A Cheater, claims to show what happened when Bibi’s daughter tempted her fella.
Bibi’s boyfriend greets Renee with a hug when he sees her, and the two quickly get talking.
Flirty Renee asks him what he’s doing later on, and when he responds that he’s planning on playing video games, she says: “I think you’d have a little more fun with me.”
She asks: “Have you ever played the game Twister? In person, body to body, live action.”
When the geeky fella jokes that he’s not flexible enough, she tells him that she can teach him something to limber him up.
As the pair get all touchy feely, the boyfriend says: “I’m down. Do you have my number?”
Watching the covert footage back, Bibi looks unimpressed as her fella takes down her daughter’s digits.
And she’s even less chuffed when he promises not to tell her about the meeting with Renee, who he jokingly calls his “sugar baby.”
Bibi can be seen raging at the footage as her boyfriend lets her daughter feel his muscles.
The sleazy cheat then says:“If the girl’s forward then I’m going to take it,”
before drawing Renee in for a sexually-charged cuddle.Visibly furious, scorned girlfriend Bibi says:“I wanna kick his little white ass.”
Later in the clip, she calls her daughter to debrief, telling her:“You went a little bit overboard.”
The call descends into a fully-blown, and perhaps overblown, argument between Bibi and Renee, who claims Bibi is just mad because her fella isn’t that into her.
Next up, she calls her boyfriend to confront him over what happened – and ends up calling him out during the explicit conversation.

Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) falsely affirmed himself to be a legal resident of the State of Maryland in the United States for business purposes, official court documents show.

Olukoya made the false claim in the Articles of Incorporation of the church in Baltimore in 2002. In the Articles of Incorporation filed with the State of Maryland Department of Assessment and Taxation, Olukoya claimed to be a Resident Agent for Service for MFM Baltimore, and personally signed the Articles in that capacity. A grieving widower allegedly caught a male nurse having sex with his wife’s corpse as he visited her one last time in hospital.

The nurse was beaten by the grief-stricken partner before being handed over to police in the Bolivian capital La Paz.
He was named locally last night as Grover Macuchapi, 27.

He is now facing prosecution on charges of profaning a corpse and obscene acts.

Police chief Douglas Uzquiano said the incident happened around an hour after the patient died at Hospital de Clinicas in La Paz on Monday and was transferred to a hospital morgue.

He said: “Relatives of the dead woman had gone to the hospital to cancel a debt they had for the medical treatment she received.
“The husband went to the morgue and saw a male nurse having sex with his late wife.”
The unnamed husband told a local newspaper: “I saw what he was doing and hit him. He was moving and he had his trousers down.”

The hospital worker blamed his actions on a trance.

He was quoted as saying: “Something happened. It was like a dream. The next thing I remember was feeling a blow from behind when the woman’s husband hit me.”

The unnamed female patient, a 28-year-old, had only died around an hour before she was targeted.

Prosecutors said Macuchapi could not be charged with necrophilia because the offence didn’t exist under Peruvian law.

Last May police in Argentina arrested a man who broke into a hospital morgue to have sex with a dead woman.

The 22-year-old drifter told cops he acted out of an “insatiable desire to have sex in the hospital”.

Staff dialled 999 after seeing the pervert had taken a body out of one of the freezers and was standing over his victim with his pants round his ankles.

He was still acting out his sick fantasy when the police arrived and made no attempt to resist arrest.

The bizarre incident happened at San Vicente de Paul Hospital in Oran, north-west Argentina.

The woman he targeted was a 41-year-old from a village 70 miles away whose sudden death was due to be investigated in an autopsy later that morning.

He slipped into the hospital after getting past a security guard who was answering the call of nature.

Local reports said police found cash in a rucksack he was carrying which patients and their families leave the hospital when they are discharged.
