Popular hardcore rapper, Yung6ix has just been robbed of his car and several personal valuables — PETER OKEREKE BLOG has learnt.

Yung6ix who took to Instagram to report the unfortunate incident, says he was actually moving to his new apartment from where he’s based in the US … when his car was robbed.

According to the “Energize” crooner, his whole life was in his stolen car, which he says was broken into by a white man — according to CCTV footage in the apartment.

Yung6ix also alleges he had his studio equipments, his laptop, a PS5 console — a yet to be released album and mixtapes — including cash amounting up to N2,891,000 Naira ($7000)!!!

Spotify founder Daniel Ek has revealed lately that he had a bid to buy Arsenal football club rejected, which included elements of fan ownership and representation on the board.

According to reports, the Swedish billionaire … who is a boyhood Arsenal fan himself … tweeted his interest in buying over Arsenal last month during protests against the club’s owners by fans.

The Spotify founder’s intentions came after massive fan protests had followed the club’s involvement in the European Super League (ESL) project.

Arsenal were one of six English Premier League (EPL) clubs to sign up for a breakaway European competition last month before quickly withdrawing from the process less than 48 hours later.

Thousands of fans protested outside the Emirates Stadium before their 1-0 defeat to Everton on April 23 when Ek registered interest in buying the Gunners.

Kroenke, who owns the club through his Kroenke Sports and Entertainment business, has stressed that he has no interest in selling.

But Spotify founder Daniel Ek moved forward with his plans and reportedly had the backing of Arsenal legends Dennis Bergkamp, Patrick Vieira and Thierry Henry in a potential take-over.

The 38-year-old Tech mogul has said he has made an offer to the Kroenke family over buying Arsenal, which son and director Josh is believed to have turned down.

In a statement posted on Twitter, Ek said: “Inaccurate reports emerged today saying I have not made a bid for Arsenal Football Club.

“I think it’s important to correct the record – this week an offer was made to both Josh Kroenke and their bankers that included fan ownership, representation at the board and a golden share for the supporters.

“They said that they don’t need the money. I respect their decision but remain interested and available should that situation ever change.”

A popular Pastor who goes by the name of Prophet Aloysius on Facebook, has called out controversial Prophet Odumeje as being a fake pastor following the death of comedian Ada Jesus.

According to him, Odumeje is not a prophet and has no spiritual powers from anywhere.

Prophet Aloysius also says the self-proclaimed “Indaboski Bahose” is just a mere Entertainer and Singer.

In fact, he’s also therefore challenged Prophet Odumeje to turn up for a spiritual battle with him — to show who the real and fake pastor is — among the both of them.

Transport minister Rotimi Ameachi has recently been caught on tape admitting that President Muhammadu Buhari has always ordered the CBN to keep printing money since 2015 —according to Peoples Gazette.

In an interview with journalists prior to the 2019 general election in which Mr Buhari was re-elected, Mr Amaechi also disclosed that they swore an oath as Ministers to never to publicly admit to Nigerians that the government was on a printing spree of the Naira.

“And most of you didn’t know at the time we took over, most Nigerians don’t even know because we have sworn to an oath not to tell anybody we were printing money,” Rotimi Amaechi revealed.

“Do you know when a country prints money? When it has no money at all. We were just printing money to pay debt.”

Amaechi’s comments further exposed the cover-up that has followed President Buhari’s widely condemned approach to the country’s economy, as millions of citizens continue to plunge into poverty.

Nigeria has since emerged as the country with the highest number of poor people in the world. The country also has the poorest electricity supply and is as well the second country with the most jobless people worldwide.

Last month, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo expressed concerns on crude oil revenue, disclosing that the federal government printed extra N60 billion for states to share in March.

The leader of Ilana Omo Odua, emeritus Prof. Banji Akintoye, has said the agitation for Yoruba self-determination cannot be stopped either by anybody.

Banji Akintoye made this statement on Sunday through the Media and Communications Secretary of the group, Mr Maxwell Adeleye.

Yoruba Nation agitators had on Saturday defied the police clampdown to stage their rally in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

He also hailed the Yoruba Nimi Omo Kootu-Ojire and its founder, Titilayo Ojeleye, for the success of the rally held in Abeokuta on Saturday to drum-up support for the actualisation of the Yoruba nation.

According to Prof Akintoye;

“I want to advise the Nigerian State that the Yoruba self-determination struggle under my leadership shall continue to be peaceful and orderly.

“Therefore, threatening us, or attempting to subjugate our rights to self-determination and peaceful assembly are cowardly.

“We are marching on, and like valiant soldiers without a dint of fear. I make bold to put it to the Nigerian state that no one can stop an idea whose time has come.”

Gistmates, following the newly released CCTV video of Nollywood actor Baba Ijesha touching and handling the 14-year-old girl inappropriately, several reactions have also trailed it as well.

Notable among them is that of a Nigerian Lady who is angry that Baba Ijesha is being pointed accusing fingers by almost everyone.

According to her, the Nollywood Actor did nothing wrong in the video and contrary to popular opinion, the girl in question enjoyed every bit of it.

In a post on social media, this Lady who goes by the name of Jane —argues that both parties enjoyed themselves and that Baba Ijesha should also sue for defamation of his name.

She wrote:

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano, who’s now facing a financial crisis, is reported to owe a massive N26 billion to pensioners and retirees in his state … according to PM News.

The heavy debt figure owned by the Kano Governor, was recently revealed by Mr Kabir Ado-Minjibir, the NLC Chairman in Kano state.

Mr Kabir says the money represents death benefits, gratuities and pensions for former Civil servants … all of whom Governor Ganduje hasn’t paid up till now.

The chairman said that the payment of the outstanding benefits was part of their requests to the state government for consideration.

Other requests he said include: review of retirement age for all civil servants in the state and Local Government services like what was done to teachers from 35/60 to 40/65 years.

The NLC chairman is quoted as saying:

“This action will equally reduce the massive increase of pensioners within five years thereby giving an opportunity to Kano State Pension Funds Trustee (KSPT) to offset its outstanding liabilities.

“Government should provide an appropriate place that will serve as a bus station for the proposed NLC mass transit scheme scheduled to commence in Kano as soon as the station is provided.”

Meanwhile, the NLC advised the Kano state Governor to increase the Internally Generated Revenue drive, to boost the state’s income.

Ado-Minjibir added that, “I must start by thanking the almighty God for sparing our lives to survive the first and second waves of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mrs. Anjorin announced the birth of the child in an Instagram post on the night of Saturday, April 1st, without stating the baby’s gender.

The actress, who said that God has ended her shame completely … in what is obviously a celebratory post … added that the child was born in the state of Florida, USA.

Lizzy in a much anticipated manner, broke the joyous news on her Instagram page, writing:

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has declared his intention to negotiate with bandits to ascertain their grievances and the way forward … revealing they’re “our children”.


According to the News Agency of Nigeria, Gov. Umahi made this declaration on Friday in Abakaliki at the presentation of 40 Toyota Sienna and 20 Hilux vehicles to security agencies for enhanced operations in Ebonyi.

He also directed local government chairmen and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the state to identify the bandits and present them for debriefing.

In his words, David Umahi is quoted as saying:

“The bandits are our children and I am pained when they or the security agencies are killed.”

“I want to talk to the bandits and empower them as we cannot continue to kill ourselves and destroy public infrastructure.”

Nollywood actor and movie director, Afeez Owo has offered to sell his wife, actress Mide Martins to popular comedian Mr Macaroni for a sum of five million Naira.

Afeez Owo, seen in the company of his colleague having fun at the wedding ceremony of actress, Abiola Adebayo disclose his willingness to sell his wife.

In a video shared on Instagram and what appears to be a joke, Mide Martins was captured dancing with Mr Macaroni. He went on with his using comedy style of offering her five million Naira if she agrees to go home with her.

Mide Martins objected, saying he (Macaroni) is not financially buoyant.

The Catholic Priest and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka, has revealed that he’s been directed by God to prophesy again on President Muhammadu Buhari and Imo Gov. Uzodinma.

Father Mbaka had caused controversy last year when he prophesied that then Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha, would be removed by the Supreme Court and Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress would be made governor.

The fiery priest had also prophesied that Buhari would become the President and continued to support him at various times.

However according to The PUNCH, Father Mbaka has now stated that God had asked him to withdraw his support for the President, Muhammadu Buhari, and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, and to prophesy against them.

Mbaka said the government had failed to protect lives in the country, describing the situation as ‘devastating’.
