THEY HAVE A SICK BAY Oh my goodness, I thought those only exist in books and stuff. But guys we really have to appreciate the fact that they've got a sick bay, and then think of what to do with their career. For the records my school never had one, 99.1% of Nigerian schools don't. If you no well it's either back of class, staff room, or daycare, choose. |

Y'all asking why he did not build it in Nigeria should grow up. When foreign government render aid to our country their citizens don't ask why it was not done back home, do they? If we all help ourselves, I do for you, you do for me we'd move forward. By the way, Liberians are people too, they deserve something nice too. |

R&B star R. Kelly has asked a US court to let him travel to Dubai to perform concerts next month. According to a motion filed in Cook County Circuit Court, R. Kelly also plans to meet members of the United Arab Emirates' royal family. The embattled singer faces 10 charges of sexual abuse involving four alleged victims, three of whom were minors. He had to surrender his passport last month after being released on bail and is struggling to pay various fees. R. Kelly has denied all allegations against him. The motion, filed on Wednesday, claims R. Kelly has been battling to pay child support, legal fees and everyday expenses after the cancellation of his record contract and two US concerts. His songs have also been removed from several streaming services. "He cannot work, and consequently cannot make a living if he is confined to Illinois, or even the United States," according to the five-page document. "Denying him the opportunity to work would be a hardship on his children." The filing also took aim at Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx, questioning her impartiality in the case and accusing of using the trial "to thrust herself into the spotlight of the #metoo movement". A judge may decide on R. Kelly's travel request on Friday. Earlier this month, the singer gave an explosive interview to CBS This Morning, where he tearfully and angrily denied the allegations against him. "I didn't do this stuff. This is not me," he said, adding that he is "fighting for my life".

People in Nigeria have been reacting positively to the decision by Italian club AS Roma to set up a Pidgin Language Twitter account. AS Roma wrote on its website that it launched the Twitter account to improve the connection with fans in Nigeria and neighbouring countries. The club said that the account, which will be run from Nigeria's commercial hub, Lagos, came about after suggestions from Nigerian fans. In one of its first tweets it announced "we don show" - or we have arrived. More than 10,000 people have followed the account in the first 24 hours of it launching. AS Roma's popularity in Nigeria soared after the club said it was backing the Super Eagles at the World Cup in Russia last year, after Italy failed to make the finals. The Italian club can now boast Twitter accounts in 13 different languages - Italian, English, Arabic, Indonesian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Bosnian, Turkish, Dutch, Farsi and Chinese |
