Please what can we do? I'm suggesting that we should apply online and pay the fees so we can go to the center to vaccinated and get the card

I need a yellow card for south Africa E-VISA for my wife but the problem now is that her int passport is not presently with her which is still at the Brazil embassy pls what can we do?

Hello. So, when my friend took the vaccine, she was not asked to show the passport. Even though she went with the passport, all she showed was her passport data page, that is, the photocopy. So, it's quite possible that that might be the situation for you now. I can't predict how they will act, if they will ask for it or not since I don't know if that's the new system. I hope this helps.

Don't worry, any samsung you buy at your budget is okay, there may be need to adjust the camera setting to get a type of quality, this applies to any phone.just check gsmarena for the specs (which determines price), if its okay then buy it
Thank you. This is very reassuring.

Well, I have not even used any of the listed Samsung phones, I have been using Samsung a20s and it ls fine by me. But my sister use a12 which is good and the camera good as well. As for the a03s, I don't know much about it. I think it would be a good phone

Okay. Thanks a lot for the information

Hello all,

Thanks so much for the responses I got last time. I was considering getting teh Samsung galaxy A03s because of my budget and I was also advised to consider a second hand A30. I thought about it and while I do not want to purchase a used phone, I can expand my budget to the higher 80s which can accomplish a phone like the Samsung A12.

Can anyone advise me if I should just opt for the A03s or get a Samsung A12, 128gb ram which now falls within my budget? Or is there any other good Samsung phone that I can get in that price range?

I am very concerned about the ROM, RAM and battery life. While I want a good and clear camera, it is not priority 1.

Thanks all!

Hello all,

So, I am a newbie to Samsung and was considering getting the A03s because of my budget which was in the low 70s. But now, I might be able to expand it to higher 80s.

You get the card same day max 15 minutes after shot.

Hello @aieromon, my friend went and was told they are still expecting cards from Abuja. Is this a normal scenario or is something amiss?

A30 has better processor,so the phone will heat less and it,has a better screen (this can be an disadvantage since it is more expensive), better camera, uses usb type c.

And since it isn't new the price has gone down.

Samsung a03 is a 2021 Samsung phone but it isn't better than Samsung a30, that is if you want second hand phones, if you don't want then you can go with your a03

Thanks a lot for the explanation and breakdown. I will weigh my options and come to a decision.

The fact that it has usb type c also appeals to me and it is another reason I am also considering the A03s over the other cheaper options in the A0-series, because it has type c too.

Thanks once again.

No, not really, but I'm confident you'll like it. Dont expect too much from the camera tho.

Okay. Thanks a lot.

I'm not too bothered about the camera. As long as it gets the job done, that's fine. The pictures don't have to be breathtakingly sharp cheesy

Well, you will leave it with the officer and it will be returned back to you along with the card.

Oh I see. Thank you. Is there no way around this? My friend is reluctant to leave the passport even for a few minutes because of the fact that a visa is attached to it.

You need at least 4gb of ram to enjoy most games. So aim for that when buying any Samsung.

For battery, you sacrifice performance for power most of the time, so you can't really have both. You have to decide which one you'd like the most.
If you want performance, 75k might not get you that unless you buy an old flagship, which is not a bad idea if you get a good bargain out there.

Hello, after reading the specs of the A03s,bit seems to have lots of good qualities such as 4gb ram, 64gb ROM and a 5000mah battery. Have you anyone here heard anything about this phone? Is it good? Is it bad?

If it is not advisable I get it, can you recommend any good old flagship that boasts of this specifications and within my price range?

Thanks.

Passport booklet is for sighting purposes. The passport number will be transcribed onto the yellow fever card. It will be handed over to you along with the card immediately after vaccination

Thanks so much for responding!
So, I will be with them at the moment they look at it? I don't have to leave it and go and sit down and wait? @aieromon

Hello all,

I've never used a Samsung device before but I'm considering getting one that is budget friendly, the Samsung A03s, which is about 75,000. Please, is it a good device? Is it worth it or would you advise I opt for another Redmi phone?

Or is there another good Samsung phone that can be recommended to me within my budget?
I am not a heavy gamer and I am particularly interested in battery life, RAM and ROM. The camera should be great but it is secondary to the first three.

Thanks, looking forward to a response!!

Update:

Greetings!

Received my Yellow Card yesterday morning after paying the of sum 2,800 Naira cash.

You have to go with your International Passport!

I was given yellow fever vaccination injection to last for a lifetime according to the nurse; and two drops of (oral/mouth dose) for polio vaccination.

Try and locate the Toll Gate close to the International Airport and you'll see the Port Health Office around the corner!

Good luck!

Hello everyone!

I hope you see this message or anyone else or who has recently gotten their card since it's quite urgent. Please I would appreciate an answer from anyone who can answer. With regards to the documents to take, you mentioned international passport and receipt. Are we submitting the passport for some time, that is, leaving it with them while they process everything or just showing it to them for a few seconds, that is, for a short moment. Please, I would appreciate an answer.

Thanks

I do not have the answer to all your question but I can answer most of them.
1. According to the IDP website you will be provided with required materials for the test.
2. For the paper based test, answers are to be written with a pencil.
3. I'm sorry I do not have an answer for this, kindly read through the thread for more details.
4. For the computer based tests, it takes a period of 3-5 days to get your results. And for the paper based test, it takes about 13-14days to get your results. Furthermore, a Test Report Format popularly known as the TRF will be sent to you. I am not certain if it will be sent online or offline.

Regards,

Thanks a lot for your reply damidam. I really appreciate. I've gotten an answer to the third question. Yea, an email confirming venue and time are sent prior to the date (for anyone else who wants to know).

Thanks once more!

Hi everyone,
Please I have a few questions.
1. Will writing materials i.e pencils, pens, erasers, be provided at the center or will I have to use mine?
2. Pens or pencils, which are used for the listening, writing and reading sections.
3. Should I be expecting a mail with my time and date after receiving the confirmation of registration email?
4. How many days will it take before the results are released? Online and when will I get the hard copy?
Thanks everyone.

Hi everyone,

Please concerning filling the five recognizing organizations for the IELTS result to be sent to, I know it can be done after payment, which I've done. Can I do this after the exam, that is after results are out, like weeks or months after? Or must I fill it in before the exam?

Secondly, I've uploaded my proof of ientification document. It's been showing this since I did: 'Successfully uploaded and pending approval'. Shouldn't it be approved already? Do I have anything to worry about? In the email they sent to me, they stated that "a legally binding agreement to take an IELTS test is concluded between me and them when they've received payment and documentation."
From experience of those who've written, please how long will I have to wait to get the confirmation email?

Thanks a lot everyone.

Just accept whatever you see that day. But I would advise you to practise without earpiece. Also, sometimes try to prepare on the background that is not very quiet, it's all about getting it right during the actual test. Prepare adequately and build up your vocabulary.

Okay, I will do as you've advised. I've been practising without an earpiece but I'll adopt doing so in a noisy environment. Thanks a lot, Crownstar01.

Hi everyone. Thanks for all the information here. I've gone through almost all the pages and it's been very informative.

Nonetheless, I still have a question and I will appreciate it being answered. I plan to register to write in Delta State, Warri precisely, under British Council. Now, there is no IELTS Center for BC in Delta but the exam venue is listed. My question now is about the situation at the venue. I hope there's someone who's written in Warri here or at least, someone who knows someone. I'm concerned about the listening test. Were earpieces provided or was a loud speaker used instead?

Thanks, in anticipation of your kind response(s).

Yes.

Thanks FA13. I thought because it won't be an official copy, the school I'll be applying to would have an issue with it. Thanks for the clarification

Hello FA13. I've been silently observing and finally I have a question again. Concerning the transcript, how do I go about it? I apologize if this question has been answered before now. For instance, the university I graduated, if you apply for transcript, they'll send it straight to the school you're interested in. How then will I be able to notarize the transcript? And also, there's the fact that I need to attach it to the other documents I'll be applying with.
Now, there is the option of student copy of transcript which I can apply for and do all the necessities but will the school recognize it and accept it?
Thanks FA13. I'll appreciate it if anyone else that can help out with a reply does. Thanks everyone.

Thanks for the compliment. However I said in the write up that usually. So if you see a course on campuschina page and it is stated that it is in English, endeavour to go to the school's website and confirm. If the same information is there, then you are good to go.

And yes, there are slight variation in various schools for the CSC scholarship. CSC provides general condition but schools still have their individual conditions/requirements.

Thanks a great deal, FA13. Indeed this has been helpful. Thanks for what you're doing. I wish you success and hope you have a great experience. If I have any more questions, I'll ask if it won't be too much of a bother.
