dominique: I hardly watch movies, has any Nollywood movie portrayed how a ritual killer lived happily ever after? Do they end well at the end of such movies? As far as I know, Nollywood movies tries to discourage people from going into ritual killings, maybe people choose not to watch till the end. Musical videos on the other hand pushes these youths to indulge in despicable things to make money. When youths vibe to music like; if you no get money hide your face or if you no get money wetin you gain etc, they're indirectly pressured into making this money by all means. Music industry has caused more damage to the youths mentality than Nollywood ever did or ever will. Good Morning and do remember to smile , its gonna be a great day ,you'll see |

pansophist: I don't agree on Africa as a continent is geographically isolated, at least not compared to North America as a continent (which is an island), Oceania, and South America. Afro-Euro-Asia mainland is the largest and most populous contiguous landmass on Earth, and the only continents connected to each other (Euro Asia connects Africa through the Suez canal). Perhaps you can argue for other reasons why Africa is not developed, but it has never been due to geographical isolation.
Secondly, the map you uploaded is wrong, its the Mercator map which makes Africa as a continent looks small. I mean, see how Russia is bigger than Africa as a whole, meanwhile, Africa is larger than Russia almost twice. Greenland is not even bigger than Algeria, but somehow the maps make it bigger than the whole over fifty African countries.
Thirdly, there are many theories of why Africa is poor, but the one that seems reasonable is the plundering of the wealth of colonial masters, and the continuation of it unto this day through a complex web of extractions that is more sophisticated, self-perpetuation, and automatic. `To place the lack of development of Africa as a continent as something beyond human doing is inconclusive. Having said that, I am enjoying your write-up. while the world was getting intriged by technogy ,we were left to gather what was pillaged,we have been left behind ever since,to delight of the first worlds . |

OurTruth: Point One: Geographical Isolation
One of the factors that hampered the development of sub-saharan African countries is how geographically isolated they were from the rest of the world.
Sub-saharan Africa is bordered to the west by the Atlantic ocean, to the east by the Indian Ocean, and to the north by the Sahara desert. This geographical placement prevented them from having easy access to other parts of the world. They didn't participate in the sharing of technology and learning that Europe and the Asia continent had among themselves.
Also, the only trade route that linked sub-saharan Africa and the other parts of the world were through the the Sahara desert, which at the time was a hub of bandits, horders and slave-traders, not to mention the harsh climate of the area and how difficult it was to traverse the desert.
Europeans borrowed knowledge from the Arabs, the Arabs borrowed knowledge from the Europeans, the Asians borrowed knowledge from the Arabs and the Europeans borrowed from the Asians. All these people would fight wars against themselves and steal technology and information from their rivals.
African however only interacted with and fought amongst themselves within the confines of their geographical prison.
Another group of people that had this same problem of geographical isolation were the Native Americans. The Northern and Southern American continents are bordered by oceans on all sides. These people also suffered the same fate Sub-saharan Africa suffered, even worse I'd argue because they were killed and their lands and homes were taken from them by the more developed Europeans. Yes..... Victor rights History ....... We used to live together on Pangaea , later the divided into groups , some went down south , and are the bush men today , some went North and met with Neathathals who interbred with them and yes The white people started to breed and evolve , yes they later wiped out the Neathathals (as they usually do) Now pangea had already divided separating the Neathanthal Spawns ,from the homo sapiens (The Africanus people of bronze skin), , the Other people (bushmen) migrated to broken down Southern Africa and created Australia and Asia , where the humans met with Denesovans and interbred with them which are now the Asians and the abouriginals..... A lot is known , it is tortorus to explain I'm old |

Richard Ramirez, known as the Night Stalker killed 14 people within a short span between 1984 and 1985. He used a variety of weapons to kill his victims that ranged from guns to knives to tire irons and hammers. Ramirez wasn’t picky about age or gender either. His victims ranged from age 9 to 79, and he killed both men and women. During his spree, he nearly paralyzed Los Angeles with fear.
Ramirez often smiled for the cameras at his trial and when he was convicted, he was heard to say, “No big deal. Death always comes with the territory. I’ll see you in Disneyland.”
He was the postal boy image of a serial killer , even signed his on autograph like Ted Bundy

This serial killer is one I hate. He is also known as the .22-Caliber Killer or the Midtown Slasher. He gained notoriety for a series of murders, estimated at a dozen, in the early 1980s. In addition to killing at least 12, he wounded numerous others. Almost all his victims were African-American.
Lethal is definitely an adjective for this one! He killed a lot of people in very short period of times. Christopher’s killing spree began in September of 1980 when he committed four murders in the space of just 36 hours. Those four killings were committed with a .22 caliber sawed-off rifle, which led to the nickname .22-Caliber Killer. He committed two more murders the next month by bludgeoning his victims to death. After the bludgeoning, he cut out their hearts
In December of 1980, Christopher stabbed four people to death in Manhattan. He then stabbed a man to death in Buffalo, New York and another in Rochester, NY, also both in December.
Dispicable
