IamMissMarvel:
Well.

With all that money and his English is still whack.

But all these years of branding Psquare, shooting their videos, he still manages them, which must be a lot to handle.

Why is it now that Peter is insisting he doesn't want Jude anymore?

Something tells me there is a little birdie whispering ideas to Peter. I pray he doesn't end up like Dbanj.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Very nice observation. I'm totally flabbergasted.

You must be a fööl!

Someone pointed out an odious error of yours to you. What will it take for you to quietly go back and edit it and then send the person a note of thanks?

But no...

You won't admit to your mistakes. You won't ask for correction. Because you know you are never wrong.

So...

In the typical Nigerian truculent manner of reasoning, you feel slighted and then you come back and start claiming superiority and all-knowing with that stupÎd display of arrogance.

But in the process, you expose yourself by advertising your ignorance some more. angry

This is the same attitude that ruined the career of that man at the center of the oga-at-the-top saga, if you recall.

Sorry for you... and your English teacher. undecided

RomanceRe: Am I Wasting My Time With This Guy? Pls Help!!!!!! by TheSpellChecker: 9:48am On Jan 08, 2016
dupsil:
Ohk guys, i would try to make this short and simple. Forgive any grammatical blunder i might make though. thanks
So this is my story, am studying a 5yrs course in the Uni and am in my finals, throughout the previous years i wasnt in a relationship, i was so engrossed with school works so i could graduate with with a good G.P, I pratically didnt have time for myself. it got to a stage that my friends started pressuring me to get a boyfriend, not like i didnt have people who wanted to date me, i just wasnt ready nor interested.
After 400l, during the session break, i was on IT and met this guy where i was working,he was working at the company too as a permanent staff though. he was so nice to me and made me feel special and loved, we saw virtually every day, sometimes after work he would drop me at home and even became friends with my siblings. he asked me out and i agreed to date him, things was going smoothly bt then i had to go back to school.
After about a week in school, his attitude changed, he stopped calling, messaging or even chatting me up, i was the one calling, messaging and chatting him up, anytime i complain about his change of attitude he would say he was just busy with work and apologise bt didnt change. when i saw that he didnt change, i decided not to call him, chat him or even message and see how long it was going to last. for a whole week he didnt call and i had to call him wen i cud no longer take it. he wasnt even remorseful, just said he's bin busy and am wondering how could you be so busy and nt check on someone u claim you really care about, i asked him if he wanted a breakup bt he said no dat he cared abt me and wud change but he still hasnt. am going through so much emotional stress and i dont no what else to do. have never asked for money from him and he's never given me anytin so i kip wondering wat i did wrong, we never had sex too. please i need romancelanders help on this issue, should i just go ahead and break up with him? am in love with him and the thoughts of breaking up hurts badly. To think that my first relationship after so long didnt even last 4month
angry Oh fûck!

Sorry, but I just can't forgive grammatical blunders. It's so much pain to eyes to read. I think you can do better because you were still coherent enough amidst all the numerous blunders.

Alright.

The thing is, in most relationships there's always a party that is so passive about the whole thing and the other party who wants the relationship the more. In this case, obviously it's you. You want it more. So that means it falls on you to do more just to keep the relationship going.

Of course, you can still change all that as long as you can handle the consequences. I believe you already know that, huh?

You can ignore him. You can stop making yourself available to him. You can start dating another guy, maybe, to make him jealous or something. You can also call it quits if you like.

Those are some of the things you can do on your own part.

The rest depends on him.

So it's you against him. Who blinks first? Are you ready to gamble? Game on.

Sorry, if you didn't find my advice meaningful by any means. I check grammar and spellings. I don't check relationships.

There!

WTF is this? I mean, wtf in the world is copper?

Are we talking about the chemical element copper with atomic number 29 or what bikonu?

Even the nairaland mod that pushed this to the FP didn't or couldn't spot this error or what?

Hmm. undecided

For crying out loud and to whom it may concern, the right word is not copper. It's not even corper. It's just Corps member.

EducationRe: Text Message Earned A Nigerian Scholarship Up To PhD Level by TheSpellChecker: 5:18pm On Dec 09, 2015
ebosie11:
Last Sunday, Paul Chidozie, 26, an undergraduate of Geology, University of Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, bagged a PhD scholarship following a text message he sent to the Leader, Enugu State House of
Assembly, Ikechukwu Ezugwu.

For the past 3 years, Ezugwu has been marking his birthday with the award of scholarships to undergraduates from each of the 10 wards in Udenu LGA. It was like the Biblical lesson where Jesus Christ treated 10 lepers but only one person went back to thank him.

Tears of joy rolled down on Ezugwu’s chicks with nostalgia, that out of 20 persons who benefitted from the yearly scholarship scheme, only Chiedozie deemed it fit to come back to show appreciation and wish him many happy returns on his birthday.

Ezugwu said: “Out of the undergraduates that have been receiving this, Chiedozie was the only one who remembered to wish me well on my birthday. I was so touched emotionally and that singular gesture has earned him a full scholarship to PhD level.

Even if am not alive (God forbid) the machinery to ensure that he studied to PhD level has been put in place.”

This year, the 20 benefiting students received N50,000 each, bringing the total amount to N2 million. The remaining former recipients however claimed that they also wanted to send text messages but there was no light to charge their phones

ronald4lif:
Thanks for this inciteful response to the referred comment. Would have respond to it safe for time. I've never tune in to the radio Biafra before and don't planned to do so as they don't represent anything but hate and sowing seed of discord from their Facebook postings which I've monitored since the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu.

Although I'm for free speech and freedom of expression as stipulated in international law I'd have arrest Nnamdi if I were the president. There are no contemptible names this guy and his cohorts doesn't call Buhari, the president of the most populous black nation in the globe. Ranging from paedophile, rapists and other unprintable names. He has got to explain why he's disrespecting a head of state on air in such despicable manner.

When you're agitating for a separate independent state there are conventional practice and procedure to follow, of which I'm sure Nnamdi isn't oblivious to but prefer the route of hate and disunity. Even if Biafra were to succeed, no country survives in isolation and we'd still need the corporation of our closest neighbours, Nigeria.

Also, make no mistake about it, majority of Igbos don't support this recent Biafran crusaders, and a Biafran state. Even if we must not through hate, divisiveness and coercion like Nnamdi is parading.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: How I Lost Two Jobs I Needed Today. by TheSpellChecker: 9:38pm On Nov 23, 2015
Sashafm:
One of my greatest selling point had always been the fact that I am very outspoken. Well that advantage turned into a great disadvantage for me today sad. I have always heard about people saying how they kept on saying rubbish at interviews and they new it but could not stop themselves, that was exactly what happened to me today.

Today I woke up very optimistic, I had an interview in V.I, that was number one and another job consideration, number two. In which, conversations had already begun on it.
I got to the venue of my first interview very early and I was person the first person to be interviewed. After the interview I got a call to come back for another testing to decide who will get the job. I was already congratulating myself, only for me to shoot myself in the leg sad sad as my brain was coordinated but my words refused to follow suit when asked what I thought of the job.

Alas , my mouth started spewing out jargon about how not tasking enough the job was, shuuuu shocked shocked for someone that has been sitting down at home for over a month after service. I tried to rephrase my words but Iro o, the deed had already been done. After listening to my self and seeing the expression of the interviewer, I new even I wouldn't employ myself. I was devastated at how, so close to the job I was and how I lost it to over-zealousness.
Not long after that I was dismissed while, the other girl girl stayed behind. That was when I realized the gravity of what my mouth had done, I already passed all the test to the best of my ability but why would you tell an interviewer that the work is not mentally challenging enough!!! who does that huh

Now the second one was supposed to be easy, as the owner of the business has already called me and I thought we were on track only for me to return back b from the island and receive a message about how someone else closer to the office has been found and even had an experience in customer service. Alas that was the Last straw, I received the message and I WEPT.
Well, sorry about that but I won't employ you too because not only do you spew jargon; you also write jargon. embarassed
