The former minister of Aviation during the Good luck Jonathan regime, Femi Fani Kayode celebrates his 59th birthday today.

He was born on 16th October 1960 to Chief Victor Babaremilekun Adetokunboh Fani Kayode and to Chief Mrs. Adia Adunni Fani Kayode. 

The Nigerian politician and lawyer took to his page to thank God for his life as he marked his 59 years of existence.

He wrote "59 years today! I say thanks be to God because every second of my incredible life has been eventful, inspiring, awesome, mind blowing and a great testimony to his remarkable grace and power. He continues to show me love and Mercy, to deliver me and to bless me beyond measure. The Lord is faithful in all his ways. I thank him for my loved ones, good health, peace, joy, prosperity, favour, blessings and long life. He is my God and my strength. He alone is worthy of my praise, for bringing me this far and promising to keep me to the end, I say thank you Jesus".

She will be representing Nigeria in the Miss world pageant coming up later this year in London.

Arguably the most talked about two pepper dem housemates in the just concluded Big brother naija Reality show, Tacha and Mercy were seen together taking pictures in DSTV office during the multichoice event today.

9ice didn't find it funny during his recent trip to Abuja.  

The air plane experienced a turbulence during the course of flight and 9ice looked so scared and frightened.

Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh has come back to social media months after the death of his second wife, Bettie Jennifer.

She was assassinated in the United States some months ago. 

He posted a strong message on his latest Instagram post, he quoted a Bible Passage Acts 16:23-30 and wrote "we learn a lot from our places of discomfort, the only way for a baby to come out of the womb is through it. I guess in life, you cannot protect yourself from sadness, without protecting yourself from happiness. It is easier to stay open and trust God".

A staff of BEDC known as Benin electricity distribution company was this morning rescued by the residents of Okuokoko located in Warri, Delta State. 


It was said the man was trying to fix the light without any personal protective equipment (PPE) when the electricity was suddenly reatores and he got shocked.


Luckily for him,the fast thinking residents of the area quickly rushed to switch off their transformer and climbed the ladder to bring him down.


He was subsequently revived after being administered first aid. He has since being fully revived and in a stable condition.

According to him, some people go around using charms to talk to people at ATM stands and his friend became a victim.

He was hypnotized and he started counting electric poles while they emptied his account.

It was gathered that he went into depression after their course coordinator, one Mr.Pears ridiculed and abused him over his inability to pay his fees.


His fellow students protected over his death, today. But, they were rebuffed by the Mr. Pears who washed his hands off Damilare's death.
