They formed a migratory team with Fulani and settled in Oyo ile which was 30 to 40 miles north of Ilorin, Kwara State. A nupe man one told me that Yoruba's were also indigines of Niger state.....I never believed the man, after going through some historical works and asking questions I found out that he was right and we also have a history with the nupes/tapas. But times have changed, and I feel we Yoruba's should focus more on developing our core region and also human development instead of unnecessary land expansionism that benefits no one.
