Securing admission in public universities in Turkey is highly competitive due to quota system, hence GRE or ALES are demanded to weight individual applicant apart from the high CGPA requirement (minimum 3/4.0, note, undergrad cgpa from 3.8/5.0 will be helpful)

If you don’t have GRE, kindly consider enrolling in private universities in Turkey.

as FUTO boys we naturally have this survival starter pack. Its inbuilt due to the stress and frustration experienced in campus. Damn I thought you guys were smart enough to handle the situation effectively but most times we become victims of wrong place at wrong time. lessons learnt.

Yes. Also, student must come with the originals for University registration if not university won’t register such student, even if registered would be given few weeks to deposit the original. Lately Immigration at ERCAN have been modifying their rules and becoming tougher so no originals have gotten several students deported on spot.

Only publications in reputable journals indexed in SCI,SSCI and WOS are recognized by Turkey and NEU.

I have responded to a PhD applicant just there. at EMU, total phd cost is around 9500$. Here the cost is based per course your are registered to per semester so no fixed cost per year. Averagely if you register for 2 courses per semester meaning 4 courses a year, you will be paying around 3500$.

Usually there is entrance scholarship of 50% which is already included in the fees making it 9500$ entire program (provided you graduate within 4-5 years). If your PhD extends more than 5 years, you will pay more.

If your undergraduate CGPA exceed 3.5/4 you may qualify to apply for full scholarship but this is competitive, however, many with very high undergraduate was selected if they apply at the right time.

For teaching assistant position, you can apply when you reach the university, it’s competitive but possible.
