Suffice it to say, there's no need to waste the time of our kids learning what can be taught by responsible parents and other subjects like basic science.

I'm not from the north and I can tell you for a fact that "doing better" is relative.

Sex education isn't why we are "doing better".Good upbringing and family values produces a better society.
Our parents reminded us to remember the child of whom we are and we upheld our values of chastity.

So if sex education is what made you better than others, you may enlighten us more.

Do you need to go to school to teach your ward that sex is reserved for adults who are responsible?Or the consequences of premarital sex?Or moral rectitude?

The world wasn't this bad when kids had illiterate guardians.

Now to the so-called teachers in primary and secondary schools presently.
How many of them are well trained teachers?
What you have are accidental teachers, so what's the fuss about teaching it.

To boot, would any of the sex education content include the spirituality of sex?

Please let's focus on important things that would make our children productive not useless education

This report specifically says children under 5. It also mentions malnutrition. Add deaths of children over 5, add other causes of infant death like malaria, typhoid, aids, diarrhea, pneumonia etc and see what figures you’d be getting. Juxtaposed with our population, you’d agree the stats are exaggerated.


Please note, I am one of those that acknowledge that a lot of death occur daily. I think all the causes of death make for a large death toll daily but pinpointing that much of it to malnutrition of children under 5 is quite a lot.


Yet I might be wrong. If so, point me to how these figures were arrived at. This will hello me understand better.

That’s a lie, I stay in Ayobo ipaja and I am telling you even people selling in streets with small shops get visited to pay their levies or they close down their shops from the LCDA’s office and so the Aboki and women selling late night market with no shops still pay LCDA’s office ticket which is a form of direct tax so nobody is tax free in Lagos. I think they are. I innocently once dated a HIV positive girl and narrowly escaped being infected. Then I was in depression and she came to my rescue. She was so nice, loving and caring.
