Agriculture › Re: Nigeria’s Agric Export Surges To Highest On Record, Here Are The Top Items by Theunbothered: 8:42am On Sep 24, 2021 |
tctrills: I want to disagree with you. As of 2020, 1 in 3 working Nigerians was employed in agriculture yet we exported less than a billion dollars of agricultural products and food prices kept rising. We obviously don't need more farmers. No country developed by increasing its number of famers. Holland with about half a million farmers exported over 100 billion agricultural products. There is actually a direct relationship with the number of farmers in a country and rising poverty. The poorest countries have the most farmers. I have said this so many times at this point but Nigerians are still stuck thinking like it's the 1970s |
Agriculture › Re: Nigeria’s Agric Export Surges To Highest On Record, Here Are The Top Items by Theunbothered: 8:37am On Sep 24, 2021 |
Nebulax: The food price will still continue to be rise for some time as most of the abundant agricultural products we used to import have been banned. And currently, we have few people making the products hence high price. By the time more people join the business, there would be competition with the price Why ban before adequate supply has been achieved? Is that not putting the cart before the horse and encouraging price gouging? |

Lovenorth: The hardest and bitter truth is that no Southern candidate can beat the Northern candidate. If South wants to be president they must respect us to our satisfaction for us to vote for them. You can't disrespect me and expect my vote Buhari contested three times, twice against southerners and lost. The only way you can win is by rigging. |

ADAMUdaCOWBOY: I served in the barracks. The junior officers that are prone to commiting such acts of overzealousness were warned against intimidating or harassing any Corp member. Furthermore, the NYSC said to us that if at any point we feel uninterested in serving there, we shouldn't hesitate to let them know as they will redeploy us. I do not understand why that graduate allowed herself to be treated that way without any resistance. Maybe it is village people that are bent on destroying that officer's career! When the army is a remnant of colonialism who's orientation has been to trample upon the citizens and see them as enemies this is the result. Nigeria needs an overhaul. |

I don't care, if you think like an animal don't be surprised when people address you as such. Despite your so called home training you can't see why others who haven't committed a crime should be treated with human dignity and not like wild animals. Slave mentality masquerading as home training. |

Litmus: What Nigerians destroy their fathers’ houses for morsels? Are you referring to the same Nigeria where fathers houses abounds everywhere and you cannot move for fathers houses impeding upon your line of sights in towns and villages? The Nigeria I grew up where people work or hustle very hard daily to create Fathers Houses legacy for their children or travel to all sorts of godforsaken foreign countries to work so they can send money back to their loved ones and extended families?
Please, if you’re a Nigerian and you experiences have been ones of depravity, own up to your misery by personalising your personal suffering. If you or your relations destroy and murder yourselves for morsels, I’m sorry for you. If you’re not Nigerian then stop expressing as facts what you don’t know or don’t superimpose the depravity you’re accustomed in your country on Nigerians, we’re not the same as you. Africans are not all the same. If Nigerians were good people who appreciated hard work there won't be such widespread corruption or millions running off to "godforsaken" countries just to survive. While you continue to deceive yourself online there's probably one girl being beheaded so her parts can be used for money rituals. |

PeaceJoyLove: Your education is what qill kill you. Simple question...why are no market women you called illiterate not in Covid-19 center? Educated illiterate. How many of the 200 million Nigerians are positive cases that required hospital treatment? Every day market women and their children come in to treat diabetes, hypertension, kidney disease and diarrhoea after their almighty agbo failed them. Like I said, since market women are now medical experts, take your health concerns to them instead of doctors next time you fall sick. We will see who get sense pass. |

For you to mention placebo in herbal medicine means you are a du.ndie. Go and check the meaning of placebo yourself and know where it is used. Get the crap outta my mention. So called educated people are taking health advice from market women who's only interest is making money from your ignorance. We should close all hospitals, remove all doctors and pharmacies so market women can be treating everyone No wonder the life expectancy in Nigeria is 54 |
