No, Israel cannot lift the blockade,the blockade is what is keeping Israel in one piece until now. It's in the hands of Palestine & Arabs, to accept Israel as their brother & neighbor & stop the plan to annihilate or send them out of middle east. once this is done there would be no need for the blockade any longer,cos there would be no aggressor nor enemy.

Anyone coming to Gaza must pass through Israel, Food, clothing and all materials coming to Gaza must first be scrutinized by Israel. If you are in this condition won't you fire rockets? Prior to the walling/blocked on gaza in 1994, Gaza was an open territory/space. It was the actions of Palestinians terrorists infiltrating & sending suicide bombers into Israel through Gaza that pushed Israel into partially walling Gaza.And this helped putting to an end any attack from gaza until 2004.

It is action that brings reaction, if Palestinians & Arabs in general had accepted Israel as a nation & that Israel has come to stay, the issue of Gaza been the world biggest prison wouldn't have'b envisaged let alone been a reality today.
