Hey everyone
I was just wondering and thinking if this could be possible since it's a faceless forum, but again since it's a forum filled with humans and not robots, I am thinking the owner and the mods will consider us having an award like this or something more so as to encourage good behavior or smartness or intelligence or so. I've been an offline nairalander for over 10years before i actually joined online and have been following the people here, so this year we have had amazing comments, news and co in all the sections and here's my list of nominees for Nairaland Personality of the year...
Kobojunkie, Samantha124, talented321, Beverlyjean, persephone1, foodqueen and sonnobax15
i think foodqueen or talented321 should go 4 it

Everyone is suffering in Nigeria.

The suffering is not an individual thing.

It's a clear lack of national identity and unity.

Everyone is feeling the Impact because Nigeria has no direction.

100 years after amalgamation, Nigeria is still struggling with mutual suspicion.
she is struggling through divide and rule

Christmas and the Year festivals this year come up on Mondays, a major reason why most Igbos are refusing to travel home for the festivals.
Although Ohenaeze has been pleading earnestly with Simon Ekpa to allow the Igbos to celebrate the festivals in their homeland peacefully, the new Lord of the Igbo people has yet to give his words to the Igbos elders on whether he will lift the sit-at-home order for these Mondays or not.

So why did your 'head of state' give up Bakassi without even a shot and run into the bush with their tail between their legs? Was the Aburi accord about secession or was it about enthroning a system of gov't that worked for all and gave each region a sense of belonging, freedom and a feeling of safety?
help me ask am he thinks he knows all

Wise man, no head of state signs off or easily allows a part of his nation secede.

If he had done that, then he might as well have totally split other regions.
but u can easily ask part of adamawa to be nigerians through referedum, and so what's d achievement for being 2geder since 1914

If you are an Igbo it is you that will talk to your people. We have done our best to sensitize them but all usulaly goes to thier deaf ears. They at times try to swallow us online. Only God understands their brain chemistry!

If you are not an Igbo ,I share yiur thinking and concern too. The truth is IGBOS don't think like Yorubas. In view of their civil war experiences they are supposed to be wiser now. However as long as their impulsiveness does not extend to the other parts of Nigeria, they can do what they like to one another.
One day their eyes will open to the realities.
are we complaining, how many people have u in particular sensitize in ur community yet u couldn't sensitize ur brothers on yahoo business, skull mining, robbery etc

I wonder the excuse your grandfathers gave for the senseless and pointless civil war Ojukwu led them into.

One day, wise people will arise from the region, and say enough is enough of this Nzogbu Nzogbu!

As Chinua Achebe of blessed memory said in Arrow of the gods:

"...we shouldn't fight a war of blame"!

Igbos are POLITICALLY WORTHLESS as far as am concerned, a dot. If they want to be considered serious politically, let them form.meaningful alliances. If they want Biafra, let them ALL MOVE BACK TO THW SOUTHEAST from different parts of Nigeria. Then, Nigerians will stop seeing them as ingrates who eat from others but still insult them.
u still have low iq so now 4 ur mind igbos end in south east, let ur people move back also nd stop selling fake agbo destiny killer.

Referendum bullshit. When Israelites wanted to leave Egypt, they pleaded and wared with Egypt UNTIL they were allowed to go. See useless people that are getting chased out our Malaysia, South Africa, India, Pakistan etc dey form here. Fashola even deported some of your filthy people back to Onitsha. You dont need referendum to pack your load and go back to southeast, LET EVERY IGBO LEAVE EVRYWHERE THEY ARE IN NIGERIA and go back to southeast, that when we'll know you're SERIOUS. Referendum is wasting Governmen's time, MANY IGBOS WILL NOT SIGN IT.
u see d problem, u don't want dem yet u giving useless prediction but ur govt offered part of adamawa referedum to choose between cameroon and nigeria in 1956 before independence. Una get big problem

. They do business with them at their own risk. I'll rather do business with hausa and even Benue people. Very worthless ingrates, they litter every part of Nigeria yet dont appreciate when people accommodate them. People will take Biafra serious if they can leave all parts of Nigeria and go back to their potopoto republic. THEY NEED NIGERIA MORE THAN NIGERIA NEEDS THEM. They're just ordinary traders who have no political value.
if what u saying is true how come ur govt has refused to offer referendum and mind u nothing like accomodation in south west is just hatred 4 prosperous igbos doing well in business, listen carefully a day will come u'll beg igbos to come do business in dat lagos u're hyping u won't find a single soul just like canada

We dont hate their owners or where they come from. Sometime, we dont agree with their beliefs just like they dont agree with our beliefs as well. But then, that the beauty of life and that's why God created us with DIFFERENT BELIEFS. However, when you're BITTER about about a person's progress and you dont even feel good when you see them just like the way HAMAS detest Israel, it's better you stay away from what belongs to them because don't usually end well for haters. Just remember the Turkey PM that recently died just because of the sheer hatred for Israel. Many of your people are drinking our water in Yorubaland and leveraging on the safety of our environment to do business and you still want to prosper, you come here on a Yoruba boy's forum to insult Yorubas, we're watching. Yeye.
omo see rubbish capping wey u just vomit, so ur people no dey business 4 east abi what are u even trying to say sef.
