Op God already know this that is why you got the escape route first. Visit home less even on holidays, focus on your study and keep any necessary communication with your twin strictly on phone calls and if he complains tell him every action has consequences since you had choose not pay him back in same way there are other ways to make him pay which is to avoid him. Look for a side hustle and don't solely depends on money your parent gives you in school. This is extremely important and keep your progress to yourself. Focus on studies, graduate, get a job and rent an apartment.
