Contradictions, Another Contradictions & more Contradictions


We are told to be witnesses in the New Testament, but not once are we referred to as Jehovah’s Witnesses. Why be called a name "given to you by God," only to change it three more times?

If God gave the JW's the name they now have, were the names they had before wrong?

If they had the wrong names before, what makes them so sure that they have the right name now?

How much does that speak to their credibility?

Name one: Zion’s Watchtower society 1884

Name two: The People’s Pulpit Association 1909

Name three: The International Bible Student’s Association 1914

Current name: Jehovah’s Witnesses 1931

Why were they without a name that they believe was divinely given to them for sixty years? Russell never came up with “Jehovah’s Witnesses,” it was a title that he never used or intended to.


Why is it that the teachings of Russell have slowly disappeared? As the founder of this group, shouldn’t he be a cornerstone for what is being taught?


Why isn’t anyone held accountable for the prophecies being spoken?


Why would I want to join a church that was born of lies and confusion? "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints." I Corinthians 14:33


The Watchtower has the right to make these prophecies (all false so far), but when they claim to God’s only voice on earth, their integrity is destroyed. Why should I believe them, when they have such a bad track record? Lies and suppression of facts are common in politics and business, but one expects to find honesty in those who claim to be speaking for God.

Old Light, New Light & Black Light


When the organization wrote prophecies in the Watchtower magazine that failed, they use the terminology of "new light" to explain it away.

The concept of New light is taken from Proverbs 4:18

“But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”

Typical of the JW's almost complete lack of Bible knowledge, this verse is not speaking about prophecy or direct revelation from God, but the righteous man's increasing ability to live a holier life with age and experience.

(i) New Light should not contradict Old Light, but it often does with Jehovah's Witnesses.

(ii) The fact that Jehovah's Witnesses actually swallow this "New Light" explanation from the organization when prophecies fail is the ultimate
testimony of their blind faith in false human organizations.

(iii) We invite all new Jehovah's Witness converts to closely decide for themselves if "New light" adds to "Old Light" or flatly contradicts it.

In all the countries af the world prominent religious leaders always have a say in the political affairs of their nations. Before the colonial era it was not so, the native priests only officiate when it comes to spiritual matters and once they're done they return to their chambers (shrines)
But when the Western world began their moves to dominate the world they first condemn our native priests and established their own religion in other to continue monitoring our people. So that even when you get independent they will be monitoring the affairs of your government, that's why you'll notice that the majority of those handling the political affairs since Independence are Catholics and the likes.
It was gradually when the Western world realized that Pentecostals are now having more people in some nations like America that members of such religions are initiated into politics. WHY? Because during election the majority must be given the mandate otherwise there will be WAR!

I'm telling you this not because i want to preach JWs to you but to teach you how much an agent of the intelligence know about the intimacy between religion and politics!

So the Western World agreed that before any religion is allowed to start operating within the country a permit must be issued by the government. This is to know if such a religion will not hinder their monitoring spirit. So all the religions you're seeing around you took the permit before they start operating.

Now this is where JWs had issues!
Because the churches of Christendom hated this group with a passion knowing fully well that anytime they are allowed to operate they will expose the hypocrisy of the churches who are supporting politics and killing their own people in political struggles they will influence the state authorities not to register the Watchtower. This happened in Russia and many Asian countries for decades. Until when the Russian government bowed to the pressure of the European Union on freedom of speech, expression and worship.
But when Russia now decided to re-candle the rift between them and America the Russian government decided to deal ruthlessly with any religion that will not pledge their allegiance to the state. And because JWs don't do that the Orthodox Churches in Russia seized that opportunity to unleash their long time vengeance on Watchtower.

So it's not about participating in politics but following the due process of getting the authorized PERMIT to start operating under the umbrella of religion!

For your information, the Western World is restricting the same rule they themselves initiated in the Arab World because if the Arabs are allowed to follow that same process the Western World will never have any influence in their political affairs.
WHY?
Because if it's the Arabian authorities that will determine the type of religion operating in their domain they will never allow any religion upon which the Western World have influence to enter their country. That's why the Arabs are always at loggerheads with the Western World.

I just diverted into politics to show you that you guys don't know anything that's happening around you. Your prominent Pastors know all these secrets that why you're seeing them having the president of CAN who will sit when politicians need to know how to manipulate things!

8 Demonstrating the confidence of Jehovah's servants that this prophecy would be fulfilled, The Watchtower of January 1, 1921, focused on it in connection with developments in the Middle East. Subsequently, in its December 15, 1929, issue, on page 374, The Watchtower definitively said: "The whole tendency of the League of Nations is to turn the people away from God and from Christ, and it is therefore a desolating thing, the product of Satan, and an abomination in the sight of God." So in 1919 "the disgusting thing" appeared. In time, the League gave way to the United Nations. Jehovah's Witnesses have long exposed these human peace organizations as disgusting in God's sight.

After demonizing the UN: Watchtower Become a UN associate as an NGO member

In 1991 the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of New York applied to the United Nations to become an NGO. In 1992 the Watchtower’s application was granted. As part of being a United Nation’s NGO the Watchtower agreed to a number of criteria that had to be met every year.

When news of the Watchtower’s involvement with the UN appeared in the Guardian (UK tabloid) the Watchtower requested that they disassociate themselves. When news reached the “rank and file” Jehovah’s Witnesses, they inundated theUN offices so much with inquiries that the UN were forced to post the following letter on their web site.

The United Nations is being asked to investigate why it has granted associate status to the Jehovah's Witnesses, the fundamentalist US-based Christian sect, which regards it as the scarlet beast predicted in the Book of Revelation.

Disaffected members of the 6m-strong group, which has 130,000 followers in the UK, have accused the Witnesses' elderly governing body of hypocrisy in secretly accepting links with an organisation that they continue to denounce in apocalyptic terms.

The UN itself admitted yesterday that it was surprised that the sect, whose formal name is the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, had been accepted on its list of non-governmental organisations for the last 10 years.

A former member said: "There is a glaring inconsistency which has emerged between the WTBTS's frequent portrayal of the UN as an evil organisation and its behind-the-scenes attempts to curry favour with that organisation. Were individual members to be aware of any formal link they would be devastated.

"By no stretch of the imagination could the WTBTS be considered to share the ideals of the UN charter unless you suppose that destruction of the UN by God is consistent with that charter."

The Witnesses, most frequently encountered by non-members when they attempt to make doorstep conversions, have faced accusations of bad faith before.

These have been most notably over the hierarchy's insistence that members should not accept blood transfusions and over accusations that sexual abuse of children by Witnesses' ministers in the US have been covered up.

Followers who criticise the Witnesses' leaders or question their decisions are routinely "disfellowshipped" which means fellow members including their families must shun them.

An obscure and ill-publicised decision by the hierarchy in New York last year modifying the prohibition on transfusions by deeming that God had revealed to them that transfusions of some blood components might be acceptable, providing there was later repentance, has come too late for many hundreds of followers known to have died because they refused blood.

In child abuse cases, the hierarchy insists there must be two independent witnesses - an almost impossible stipulation - before accusations are investigated.

The Watchtower Society has been denouncing the UN and its predecessor the League of Nations for 80 years, believing them to be a world empire of false religion, predicted in the Book of Revelation.

A recent publication since the organisation obtained its recognition describes the UN as "a disgusting thing in the sight of God and his people".

In an internal document, the WTBTS describes its policy as a "theocratic war strategy". It claims: "In time of spiritual warfare it is proper to misdirect the enemy by hiding the truth. It is done unselfishly; it does not harm anyone; on the contrary it does much good."

Being a recognised NGO with the United Nations - as more than 1,500 organisations are - gives status though not grants.

To qualify, organisations must show that they share the ideals of the charter, operate on a non-profit basis, "demonstrate interest in UN issues and proven ability to reach large or specialised audiences" and have the commitment and means to conduct effective information programmes about UN activities.

Disaffected Witnesses believe that the association, which has not been publicised to followers, is intended to increase the cult's respectability to sceptical governments, such as France's, which have refused to recognise it.

Paul Gillies, the Witnesses' spokesman in Britain, said: "We do not have hostile attitudes to governing bodies and if we are making representations on issues to the UN we will do so."

"There are good and bad bodies just as there are good and bad politicians. We believe what the Book of Revelation tells us but we do not actively try to change the political system."

A spokeswoman for the UN said: "I think we may not be aware of their attitude, which seems to be really strange."

No, Jesus is not supposed to be worshipped:

“He taught men, not to worship him, but to worship Jehovah his Father . . . ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God,'” (Make Sure of All Things, p. 283).

“What I learned was so different from what I had heard at the “Christian” school I had attended. Jehovah’s Witnesses do not worship Jesus. Rather, they worship Almighty God, the One that Jesus himself worshipped,” (Awake, Dec. 22, 1987, p. 22).

If they are this confused about Jesus being worshipped how can they be right about who they claim Jesus is today?

I used to think that calling governing body members drunkards was an exaggeration but this kind of behavior is not normal.

They know fully well they have made uncountable failed predictions and still went ahead to say anyone making predictions that don't come to pass is evidence they're not sent by God.

So it means you need to be humble and sincere before you can grasp the response. Nobody here needs you convincing them, this 1914 thing is a date your organization said was the time Jesus became king in heaven and cast down Satan to earth.

They also said the generation that saw 1914 will by no means pass away until Armageddon happens.
