imperiouxx: The three main courier services are the best namely Fedex, UPS, DHL. I have told you this that I have used Fedex before, why still asking the same question all the time? If you live somewhere around Surulere/Aguda/Ilasa, look in the sky around 3:30pm, you'll see DHL freight plane leaving everyday.

Soyedele1: Since your school said 'express mail',my analysis ws based on that.anything express mail frm usa will have a tracking number starting with 'E' and it will be handled by EMS speedpost department at NIPOST but you av to be at their headoffice cos their branches doesn't keep letters that is if u supplied a residential address..express mail is very fast.I av received more than 50 letters through them before.the fastest ws 5days yl the slowest ws 14days thou I stay in southwest(ibadan).so I'm talking based on experience..if the school sent it tru regular/priority/registered mail,den it can take long

Soyedele1: Since its frm new jersey,it'll enter international dispatch d next day,gets to lagos after 5 days(at most)den to ur destination.
If u supply ur postal address,chk ur mail box.if its home address,goto ur NIPOST headoffice(EMS dept) so they can chk if there is a letter in ur name.u can go after 14days starting frm d day d schl nofitied u dt they sent u a letter

yeah, i'm sure that ''friend'' is on one of those lazy people who find it hard to perform 5 times daily salat ( max tym spent - 10 minutes each) & fast for 30 days in a year; or one of those stingy people who cannot give out of their money to the less privileged in the society (& not to the Imam); or one of those people who think that by claiming they have faith in Allah, Allah will not test their faith.

Have u asked yourself why despite the 9/11 bombings (of which evidence keeps mounting by the day that it wasnt carried out by any BinLaden or muslim), & other ''acts of terror'' by 'muslims' , islam is still the fastest growing religion in the world? Check this claim anywhere & produce concrete evidence to refute it if you find any.

& who cajoled who to accept islam Did muslim missionaries set up schools & forbid people of other religions to use their xtian names? Did they forcefully preach islam to them? up until early 1990s, some xtian schools in Lagos were still reluctant to admit muslims, or they admitted them on the condition that they drop their muslim names as thier first names. Needless to say, they had (have) absolute disregard for islam. Now I repeat, who cajoled who?

About 3 years ago, at my alma matter (LASU), a muslim student (& others obviously) was openly bribed by a campus fellowship with a bag of rice & 10k or so to denounce islam & come and join them. She refused (some accepted) & this also served as a wake-up call to the muslims to increase contributions to the indigent fund that had already been set up.

Not all xtians give people something on the condition that they accept xtianity (some are generous with no strings attached), but SEVERAL do. So who is cajoling/persuading/forcing who?

Islam and xtianity re supposed to co-exist peacefully, but unfortunately, several muslims and xtians are nothing short of hypocrites and brainwashed fellows.

If every muslim sticks to the principles stated in the Qur'an and exemplified by the sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), and every xtian sticks to the tenets and dictates of the present day Holy Bible (whatever version), there will definitely be peace in this world. But then anyways, the continuous intentional & unintentional misinterpretation of both texts (especially the Qur'an) and overzealous 'kasali' fanaticism on both sides is simply a sign that, well, the world is indeed coming to an end. God help us.

I can't beleive even Nigerian muslims in Jos and Kano, lately joined the protests. Pls, muslims, come out and condenm the Pakistani minister's advice.

rbjimoh: Can anyone tell me that the God, who created the world and everything in it, including Man, isn't able to give to man laws that would stand the test of time? It would be logical to posit that since God sent Jesus as the last prophet, as Christians claim, or Muhammad(pbh) as we Muslims believe, thus ending the channels through which revelations(laws) come to man, He must have equall made the revelations sent to these prophets ones that'll fit all times. Wouldn't that what we should expect as rational men?

Are you sure it hasn't arrived or yur school haven't checked their mail box. It usually takes approx 2weeks for docs 2 reach Naija from yankee. You may have 2 go 2 ya sch and ask them to go check dier box.

ICAP is better on the long run considering the fact u might want 2 further ur education around the world, the package saves yu a lot of stress u would go through now later... btw try make enquiry from ur school if their correspondence permits e-mail cos some schl like mine still live in the 18th century where they wldnt respond via mail or acknowledge such () if that's the case yu might need 2 part wiv $60 to fastrack the delivery, if yu dont mind the cost or u can settle for d normal post which takes ***** days depends on ur schl location..
