Yeahhhhhhh!!!!!
Smtin HOOOGE don land oo
Very HOOOGE
PPR at last
Second tym application
Applied august 15
It’s been a crazy experience tho

THE FULL GIST….
My first application was on April 2nd 2021
I submitted everything with upfront medicals
I later got IELTS request for NSE route ( NSE route still dy available den ) …
Fast forward to May 31, I got refused based on financial and personal asset
So I ordered for GCMS note on June 1.
The notes came in a month later and the VO concerns were :
Lump sum deposit
Not convinced the funds I presented would be sufficient
Not convinced the funds would be available for studies
And sees the whole expenses unreasonable
[/b]
I actually had some lump sum deposits I failed to explain in my first application and there was sharp drop in Naira value during that period ( I think Naira dropped from 1 CAD :303 Naira to 325 Naira ) so the CAD equivalence of my POF also dropped too. Trying to savage the situation.. I complicated tinz further by dropping another lump sum and sent webform to inform them my POF has been updated with more funds because of exchange rate
So before gcms note came I was already suspecting areas I jonsed in the first application

FOR SECOND APPLICATION…
To prove my funds sufficiency and availability
I paid full tuition fee (1 year )
Paid for GIC
Put 6k USD in domm account and tagged it miscellaneous funds for flight and hotel in my LOE
Fund money market investment account with 5M to show I have excess of my cost of studies and I have money to come back to after my studies ( this is to prove the study expenses are reasonable )
I tried to avoid lump sum this time and I made sure I explained everything that looks like lump sum especially on my domm account.
To prove source of income for all the plenty money I claimed to have, I submitted my employment letter and payslips but my pay no match all dose funds I showed.. so I padded my income strength by claiming to be a consultant and I do engineering consulting jobs along side my normal job
I am registered engineer so I have yearly practicing license I claimed it made me eligible to be a consultant. I leverage on that and also got reference letters from some companies I once did Smtin with.. then I added an exaggerated service order of arnd 7M to show how heavy I get paid from my consulting jobs.
I then explained everything in a 8page LOE
I tried to explain everything like I am talking to a primary 1 kid
Then I submitted the second application on August 15
October 15th, IRCC requested for medicals… Smtin I did since March 25th for my first application
I sent webform to update them I still hav valid medicals and they updated it to pass on oct 19
Then on October 27 they dropped only BVL… another wait started till November 6th when they finally released the main Smtin HOOOGE
PPR landed

My approach to the second application was to put in all I have.. all I could offer.. even some of the tinz may not be needed… but I no wan hear anoda story of what I should have done… so I put in all (both the relevant and not relevant) and I can’t even point which of them was the deal breaker…

Was the source queried? Who was the person to you? It’s tougher now, I will try other banks next week as my bank, wema bank told me all these. Sourcing dollar isn’t the issue, but establishing the source and whatever.

Haba since when den start to question source of dollar cash inflow… change your bank jare… I recommend fidelity bank… they have maximum cash deposit of 20k usd per month.. I think that is the highest I know of. GTB max deposit is 5k in a month… but if you still prefer GTB. Ask the aboki you are buying dollars from to do INFLOW for you… it’s more expensive than normal cash type… and if you already have cash, you can exchange it with INFLOW but you will pay for it. For my case I paid extra 40k Naira to exchange 5k usd cash with inflow.. I couldn’t wait for GTB monthly deposit limit again

Good luck

Good day all
I would like to seek for clarification on some issues with my application

My application was refused based on personal asset and financial status

To address personal asset issue, I want to get gift deed of land from my brother and value it

Are there documents about my brother I need to attach to the deed of gift agreement?

Would a gift deed count positively for me In my second application considering the date could send an impression that I got the gift solely because of visa application?

Please how can I address the issue of personal asset
I only have a car to my name

Is it just me who gets a regular ghost update on Sunday mornings?

I get ghost updates every Sunday morning... Could this be a glitch or could it be that the VOs working on my application actively review my documents on Sundays?

I'd like to know if there's somebody else who has noticed the same.

Same here too oo... I got one 2 weeks ago and another one this morning

Gurus in the house,

Please help me review this SOP if it is okay and convincing.

A BRIEF BIOGRAPHY OF MYSELF

My name is Sola Odeyale, a banker from Lagos, Nigeria. I am a graduate of Economics from one of the best University in Nigeria- Lagos State University. I finished in 2009 and thereafter I secured a banking job in Oceanic Bank Plc which was later acquired by my present employer Ecobank Nigeria Ltd in 2013. I have worked in different capacities as a banker from being a marketer to customer service officer handling customers' complaints on mobile application and internet banking.

WHY I BELIEVE IT IS IMPORTANT FOR ME TO FURTHER MY EDUCATION DESPITE HAVING ACQUIRED SOME EDUCATION SO FAR

It is well known that education is the bedrock of all nations and learning new things has always been part of me. I am challenged with the limited human skills in mobile application development in my country and increase in demand for their services which arouse my interest in this course. Also my love for IT especially in the field of mobile application development and how it can be used to reduce the level of poverty in the society via training and empowering the youths has made me to opt for it. Being a graduate of Economics with many years of working experience in banking i believe I am equipped and matured to explore new world of knowledge and build myself to the peak of information technological world most especially mobile application development.

WHY I CHOSE THIS PARTICULAR COURSE

My love for mobile application development was wayback my days in learning computer studies in my local community coupled with the unit i was privileged to handle in my place of work that exposes me more in the field of mobile application usage and development.

It is no more news that the world is now a global village and the dynamics of doing business are rapidly changing very fast with many companies moving from physical structure to digital world. It is projected that in some years to come machines will replace human beings in the work environment which can only be possible through Information Technology. Therefore, it is pertinent to strategically reposition myself for the future task in order to be relevant in the society at large.

Furthermore, the shortage of genuine experts in this field and equally high demand for mobile application developers in Nigeria with rising cases of companies springing up everyday with high demand for mobile application presence has necessitated my desire to study this course in order to train and retrain our youth back home, consult for companies, financial institutions, small scale businesses and also establish my own MOBILE TRAINING CENTER in Nigeria where i have projected to train more than 5million Nigerians in the next 10 years. This will be my only way of giving back to the society and contributing in my own little way to my beloved country in order to reduce the level of poverty and create wealth and skills among our teaming youth.

WHY I BELIEVE IT IS BETTER TO STUDY THIS COURSE IN CANADA.

My desire to study in Canada has been my long time dream being one of the best destinations for Information Technology. Canada harbors one of the best educational institutions in the world with a diverse culture of unity, value for life and enriching quality of national life.

This is evidence in the way different people from diverse backgrounds all over the world in pursuit of a world class education in Canada.

Canada is lovely, peaceful and accommodating with a low level of crime rate among other countries as the level of insecurity and industrial action in my country Nigeria is increasing every day. This has made 1 year academic program to be completed in 3 to 4 years sometimes due to industrial action which made me to opt for Canada.

WHY I CHOSE THIS PARTICULAR INSTITUTE

My choice of choosing Cambrian College is borne out of my love to study from a well recognized college that can impact and add value to me.

The college is among the best top 10,000 Colleges in the world with an exceptional learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds.

Another captivating attraction to the College is the way they support foreign students right from the point of admission to the point of graduation. The College plays host to students from different countries while still being able to give personalized focused academic experience.

In my quest for a Canadian institute that is exceptionally good and stand out among equals, recognized all over the world with a knowledge filled research center, Cambrian College stands out which prompted me to opt for it among others.

HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE ME TO COMPLETE THE PROGRAM

This program is going to run for duration of One year. I intend to complete this program within the specified period and then return to my country to fulfill my dreams as earlier stated.

WHETHER I AM FLUENT IN ENGLISH

English is the official language in my country. I am very proficient in speaking, reading, writing and also understand English. All the education I have acquired was taught in English. It has been part of me right from birth.

PROOF THAT I HAVE SUFFICIENT FUND TO STUDY IN CANADA WITHOUT SEEKING FOR AN EMPLOYMENT

Attached is my statement as proof of my financial capability to take care of all my financial obligations during the period of my study in Canada without any recourse to public funds. Besides, my organization is expected to pay me some huge sum of money as my long service benefits/gratuity allowance in case I apply to resign my current job to further my studies.

I also attached a reference letter from my bank vouching for my financial credibility.

Furthermore, I have also paid my first semester course fees therefore I will not find any financial difficulty during my study.

Lastly the inflow of funds in my accounts are evidence of my consistence savings built over a long period which I have invested in buying used vehicles, generators and other obsolete items sold by my organization to staff at low prices. I have made some reasonable profits from these purposes and intend to make use of it as part of my savings to finance my studies in Canada and upkeep for my family.

PROOF THAT I HAVE FAMILY TIE IN NIGERIA THAT WILL MAKE ME RETURN.

I intend to come back home after my studies to practice the knowledge I have acquired in Canada and ensure i pursue my goal of training our youth back home on mobile application via my mobile application center i intend to establish.

Also both my immediate and extended family are in Nigeria and the bond we share together is very strong that I need to reunite with them after my program. My wife is currently engaged as the CEO of her personal company. Therefore, she will assist to provide financial support for our children when I am away.

My aspiration and goal of setting up a learning center to train our youth back home on mobile application development can only be achieved if I am on ground to make it a reality after my studies.

I believe the information I have provided is adequate and detailed enough for the purpose of this study permit. However, should you need further clarification or enquiry from me i am always available to answer your question.

Thank you.

I would advise to avoid hinting that you could resign from your current work, instead try link how ur about to acquire expertise would be of relevance to ur current job and industry at large Because I feel they will want to know instant and long term market viability of the course in your home country. Something worth spending ur savings and investment on. So try tell them how web development will put u miles ahead your colleagues at work and will make ur employer see you as a valuable asset. You can highlight one small improvement you plan to add to the existing mobile application system of ur current employer. Then in a long run hw u plan to train and invest in human capital development in your country

My opinion tho
Good luck
