Ekealterego:Chisus!!! So my hypothesis is true. Ijaw, you need to thread carefully. Being Ijaw doesn't mean you own all the coast. Lord of Zechariah!! |
JANK23H:I didn't say they weren't Ijaws in ondo, but they are lucky they didn't tell you people to come the more and interrelate with them and inter marry with them. If not, they for hear word!!! perhaps the Yoruba's had foreseen this through their Ifa, that's why they refused even though Ijaw people claimed you'll supply good fishes for them if they give you big land to settle. And for the sea part, Igbo land has Akwa Ibom and the delectable Cross River. Who are willing to stay with their brothers no matter the upheavels. That's why Igbo loves them. And if we are both together, living harmoniously as it's going to be done, you'll see development. And Ijaws would be biting their teeth in Niger Delta Republic, begging the Biafran government to count them in. But it would be too late ![]() |
I believe Ijaws are grabbing this or taking advantage of Opobo and Bonny because they desire to take the full power of the coast. I assure you if there was no crude oil or people didn't use the sea to trade, you'll see Ijaw calling them Igbo people. They want to take over all of the coast from Lagos to Opobo, perhaps they'll move to Akwa Ibom soon, and begin to take a weak part of their family to take advantage on and begin to tell them stories from hell that they are Ijaw and Ibibio stole their land from them. . We all know, but the funny part of it all is, if you have all the coastal waters what do you do with it, except you want to be collecting surcharge from we at the hinterland. Why? It doesn't make sense. I believe that's Ijaws main motive. They know Igbos are main trading people, so this is business and Opobo and Bonny are hot spots. Lagos and Ondo had luck that they didn't bring Ijaws in, in their lands in large number or they weren't close to them, if not Yoruba's would have been having this stress. |
afroniger:He would be released in glory. Mark my words. I wrote this. And it's very near. |
RobbStark:Eh who told you. I've seen Ada femura. Ebuka Jaja and all those names. I've even seen Nneka Okoro, and Chimannda Pepple, of Ada Howard, most of them answer English names too, and English names isn't Ijaw. |
RobbStark:I believe all those connectOpobo and all on Facebook are mostly Bayelsa platforms with few Opobo and Bonny that are lost and don't know what you guys are talking about. Most of them are Ijaws who make a group to grab, that has been your way. If Igbos do their own you'll call them grabbers like you people. You people should be authentic. And the funny part of it all, most of the videos on that group are Bonny and Opobo people speaking unadulterated Igbo. No Ijaw. Then you'll see the Ijaws saying, 'I love my Opobo people" You love your Opobo people!!! Can you understand the blatty on what they are talking there? No, but they love their Opobo language. Isn't that the height of silliness ![]() |
9Pluto:Okay dear, I was shocked. And here was I thinking I was being bashed by you for no reason. . Thank you. |
RobbStark:Okay, please can you tell me why Igbo is the main language and we have Nneka, Ebuka, and Ada in Bonny island. We even have the ordinary people of Bonny speaking Igbo. The ones you claim are slaves. In fact, no one speaks in Ijaw or wants to communicate in Ijaw. Why so? |
RobbStark:I can say I'm from Bonny, won't you believe me. This is an internet. It is more reliable when we hear it from the horses lips. You can be from Ijaw claiming Bonny, what proof do you have, none except the internet. The internet doesn't have all your verification details and personal information and gives it to all the public to see. So, stop wilding. I believe there are many Bonny Igbos who are online, perhaps even countered your argument but becuase they didn't say they are Ijaw you called them Biafra. |
RobbStark:Okay, when you go can you go to the market Square go to the people and make a camera of it all. We need to see, go around and let's hear people speak without being told what to do. Let it be as natural as possible. |
9Pluto:Seriously Counter record?? You have all the records, and you've justfied your point. What more counter record do I need? I love history, but don't dig facts. I love to read more about Mind power and mental health, dear. I'm not really into history digging, but I do commend you people for what you did for the good people of Bonny and Opobo. I called your name for something else, perhaps you got the idea wrong. |
JANK23H:Ekealterego, Slayforever, 9pluto, Please respond to nwatakiri (Glorious Igbo word for a child) |
JANK23H:No, I'm not. I'm the first woman who tasted some of this argument from the head start. And I was wowed from the facts. At a certain time, I began to believe that gibberish you people gave saying Igbo conquered the Ijaws in the past and forced their language on them. If they did, why did they leave the rest of you and didn't wipe you out completely. Why did they live the palm oil rich lands of Bayelsa, and Delta even if they had the power and might to do so. You might want to say about their non unified government or democratic practice perhaps that's why they found it impossible. But I'll refute that. If Igbo wanted something, they'll simply call their clans that they are closed to to force an attack. Example, Arochukwu and many others. But Igbos weren't selfish and allowed your forefathers to have their own spiritual path. But trying to take the Chi from the Opobo and Bonny people is the height of evil. You want to rip them off their glory. |
DitariDisciple2:Talk to the hand. ![]() |
JANK23H:Sweetheart, we do see some of them, but you people have taken them as minority at the coast. Most of the people shouting "I am Opobo and a proud Ijaw" are actually from Bayelsa or Delta Ijaw. My dear, we aren't that dumb. Stop decieving yourself. You shout you're an Ijaw here and you go to the village and they speak Igbo. There are videos online about Bonny and Opobo and even Nembe and the normal people or elders speaks pure, unadulterated Igbo. Please, you can't tell me those tales of the moonlight. PS: I have heard what your general Boro did to these people. But he couldn't wipe them out completely. How sad don't you think? ![]() |
Someone should open an Igbophilic Facebook. I don't understand, are the indigenous Bonny and Opobo Igbos not using the internet? Why do they allow these Ijaw people speak for them, even delineating their true born language and calling it nonexistent? Bonny and Opobo men and women you have a proud history, your forefathers would have rather died than let their language go. That is why they lived in that propserous conclave with the Ijaws at the west and Ibibio at the east. But none of these tribes could influence them, other than that, they influenced them. You can see how your Igbo language or Igbanni language is powerful. You need to speak for yourself, and the 45 million Igbos would stand for you and you earn your respect as the true born of your lands. You are not alone dear Bonny and Opobo Igbos, the Igbos would stand and fight for you, you know Igbos, we don't cower from a fight no matter the century wait, we would stand with you till the end. Love you all. Chukwu gozie gi umunna |
Igboid:My love, it's 45 million, that's the population statistics. Apart from the millions we have all around the globe too. And people who have Igbo mom's like me that are patriotic. ![]() I guess it's even more than, becuase in Kumasi, look here and there and you'll see Igbos. ![]() |
SlayerForever:I understand them 100 percent. If I didn't see that Bonny masquerade sign. I would have thought this is Imo or Abia. ...this is nice. Igbos are the greatest tribe, totally fantastic. Can't you see the ginger there, gosh!!! I'm already getting nuts that I have Igbo blood from my mom. I'm so grateful. |
SlayerForever:Chineke!!! Nwayo Nwoke mu. ![]() |
Ika isn't Igbo ooo. Nobody should say that, they are Bini, biko. Nobody can force the Bini blood out of them. They do say it themselves, even their language I don't really understand. The language of the IKa has more of Bini phrases and little of Igbo dialect. |
Viraltrends123:I would have sworn I was looking at Jos or middlebelt. Uganda looks like that. ![]() |
GreatBoss:I'm going to do that hopefully this December. I'll like to be neutral and see how it goes. |
SlayerForever:Even me that's a Ghanaian-Igbo lady, I can hear them perfectly, they speak like my mom from Arochukwu. |
GreatBoss:No, that's not true. Igbos are liberal, there are two people who hate them only in Nigeria, the Draconian monarchial Hausa and Yoruba, and the land grabbing and ethnic identity cleansing Ijaws. These two are Nigeria's problem ![]() Igbos don't want to give you heads way, I'm sure as soon as you're done with the Igbo lands, you'll move to Akwa Ibom and strip them off their identity, then move to Yoruba land and strip them off their identity too. You people behave like the Fulani so much, I can see the correlation. |
SaintBishop:Okay, professor Quack, I didn't understand your statement are you sure you know English too? |
Ekealterego:Thank you dear, and why I pinpointed it is because at a certian time, I observed how Ijaws blatantly excused themselves by calling it a Ijaw enclave and even forwarding their point by saying the Igbos invaded them. |
GreatBoss:Okay, but Igbos are still Igbos and they are having a renaisaance there. No one can stop the Igbo wave. You Ijaws aren't smart. You don't know how to make people to find pleasure when they look at you. Look at Ibibio and Efik. No wahala, and like that their region is being blessed, while Ijaw is on Igbo necks to look for how to change them to Ijaw. I believe when you're done with Rivers now, you'll move to Abia, Imo and Anambra and claim they are Ijaws, so that the Igbo nation would be fully Ijawnized. |
SaintBishop:Ooooooouuuuuuu.... Stay pained. You people can change concept. Gosh, are you sure you people don't have Yoruba heritage too. Becuase you have their features and behaviour. ![]() |
GreatBoss: ... Now, I believe you people get drunk. And I believe you're a woman on that thread , iberirbe. . That said, Eleme, Nembe, Ekpeye and the likes that I have as close friends all said they are bonafide Igbos, they are proud of who they are. But your lots try to belittle them and acculturalize them by force. ...very soon, I'll go and spend some holidays in the beautiful town of Opobo, and all Atlantic Igbos areas. We Igbos need to develop the area. PS: if you have evidence of my identity to put home your point from the start, I dare your Ijaw lineage to do so. ... I believe you're a woman, I have evidence. |
GreatBoss:Ahhhhhh.... Chimooooo!!!!! Is it not you people that said they are related to elemee people and were invaded by Igbos, and even your Ijaw brother here is shocked, read the thread. ![]() |
SaintBishop:I said I talked with this guy today, he was asking for a date. The guy is not even in Nairaland. I guess it isn't good to do this nairaland shit becuase I embarrassed myself before the guy. How would a lady for the first time, tell a guy, "you're classified under Ijaw or Ikewere?" I guess the guy thought I'm crazy, but I turned it that I'm a history student so I'm doing a questionnaire of that sort. ![]() I was like eleme is classified under Ijaw, or Ikewere, the guy was angry, it was totally shameful. (And he's fine sha, Igbo guys I salute) I told him there is a platform called Nairaland that Ijaws keep saying Eleme and the likes are ijaaw and all. I was recording him on voice note unknowingly. I thought I'll post it here so all of you would hear it. But this platform doesn't consider it. I was so embarrassed becuase it made me feel childish contesting his identity. ![]() He was even trying to tell me how they came from imo, and how they are related to people from Imo trying to make me rub mind with him. |
GreatBoss:I wish to share a video record of an Eleme guy here. I said, oh I believe you're classified under Ijaw or Ikewere. He was like "No," in angry voice and said. We are Igbo. Most of them, Eleme, Ekpeye and the like gladly tell me their full Igbo bred, and not Ijaw in any way The last one was a friend of mine a girl, she abruptly warned me, not to say she's Ijaw. It turned to fight that day, she would have removed my bone straight hair from my scalp, if I no beg ![]() |
