BusinessDangote Commence Production Of Surfactants In Nigeria. by thirty(op): 3:12pm On Feb 06
Dangote refinery says it will soon commence the production of surfactants for detergent manufacturing in Nigeria.

Surfactants are a primary component of cleaning detergents, used in households for cleaning surfaces, garments, as well as for personal hygiene.

David Bird, chief executive officer (CEO) of the Dangote refinery, announced the plan on Wednesday during a news conference.

He said the refinery has concluded the commercial terms for installing a linear alkyl benzene (LAB) plant to manufacture surfactants.

The move could reduce dependence on imported inputs for many producers, cut foreign exchange demand for raw materials, lower retail prices, and improve manufacturers’ bottom lines.

“I am very pleased today to announce that we have been in deep discussions with a licenser and just about to finalize the commercial terms for installing a linear alphabet benzene plant,” he said.

“And this is the surfactant; this is what makes the bubbles in detergent. So, as you know, with Dangote, we evaluate business opportunities by what demand is driven by pure population.”

Bird said the country needs fuels, lubricants, and detergents, adding that these products should not be luxury items.

He noted that Nigeria and the wider West African region have a large population that is driving strong demand for them.

“And we want to go for import substitution, and right now, 100% of the detergents used in West Africa are imported, so we will be building an LAB plant in order to make the surfactant,” Bird said.

He said the move is expected to boost local production of detergents and cleaning products.

Bird added that the decision represents another example of reinvestment aimed at strengthening the economic sustainability and self-sufficiency of Nigeria and West Africa.

EducationRe: National College Gbagada 94set 30th Anniversary by thirty(op):
1993
In 1993, we were in SS 2A
and I could remember Chidi Chinonye was known for always using big words and
big grammar, but one day, he used a word when we were asked to fill out a form sent in by Action Health Club. Do you remember Action Health Club? They use to have a student center at Ifako. Yinka Bamidele was a facilitator at that time. The word used in the filled form was ostentatious I hope Deola Badejoko could remember this day. I actually wanted to use the word "prudent" but chose that word ostentatious because i wanted to impress some babes in the class😁. I didn't know why i used ostentatious but it was a word i came across previously. Adeola Badejoko scan through my form and picked this word and she said hmm grammarian awon eleyinbo ki ni itumo ostentatious and when checked it means to make unnecessary show😁 and i said yes that's was what i actually meant and Deola said irò lo n pa( that's a lie) how can you say you make unnecessary show when you were trying to say good things about yourself. I felt ashamed. I had to later change that word to prudent. Then it became a spiting tool for Adeola against me(no be today opeks worry worry start oh). Whenever i troubled her, she will say oni fi mi selè nsi ti o ba ya nsi wa ma lo oyinbo ti o mo itun mo è 😁.(translated won't you leave me alone before you start using words whose meaning you don't). I could remember one thing the girls were always doing in the class. Once it's getting close to school over you will see them rubbing power, Mary Kay. They always have a small comb and mirror in their bags which they use to check their faces. Each time they were doing this they would find our trouble by dusting up the powders on our faces when we look at them making up. This habit they continued till they got to SS 3.

It was in 1993 that we were elected school Prefects. I used to play and move around in the class but on this day I sat quietly reading and there was a male Yoruba teacher I can't remember his name who stood by the window and was watching everybody. He gave us an assignment once to find the meaning of the word Poloro, i remembered some hair styles he mentioned then during class like aja nle so, ipako eleda😁 . He asked for my name, along side others like Friday Ndujuba, Yinka Bamidele et al. and he left. A few days later, we were called down to the staff room where Mr. Onajirin used to sit, and we were interviewed on what we think about the school. I remembered saying we have one of the best teachers and that I can mention the good ones they said don't tell us. Mr. Olowokere said if you mention the good ones, what about the bad ones? And they all busted into laughter. That year saw the emergence of Friday Ndujuba - Senior Prefect (SP) or Head boy
Chidi Dominic Chinonye - Assistant Senior prefect ( ASP)
Yinka Bamidele - Senior Prefect girl (Head girl)
Wunmi ? ( can't remember her surname) Assistant Senior girl, but she is now Mrs Wumi Igumudia, Segun Odulami - Labour prefect, and others whose name and portfolio I could not remember. In that class that year I could remember aside the Prefects mentioned earlier were the likes of Kabiru Akindele, Afolabi Coker (Rip),Francis Akakasiaka, Awosanya Taiwo, Bukola Agbaje, Titi Adekoya, Femi Adesalu, Tope Ogunowo, Adeola Adeisa, Babalola Eboda, Adelodun Seyi, Akeem Yekini, Seyi Fabunmi, Alex Opaire, Toyin Ashiru, Tijani Abidat, Tope Ogunowo, Peter Ogbejiele, Clement Udemba, Sunday Ogundele, Erejuwa Obasnjo(I am not sure this guy was in our class then but i could remember him), Deola Badejoko, Egbonwon Babatunde, Oniku Joseph, Afolabi Coker(Rip), Kuburat Shomuyiwa, Sikiru Tajudeen, Busola, Omitunde, Buky Adeyemi, there was this beautiful and fair looking Calabar girl whose name I could not remember, may be Efom, Ayorinde Rasheed, Shola Elegbede, Abdul, Ngozi Iheduru,Tunlese Cadoso, etc. There were some Arts and Commercial students In the likes Patricia Esiri whom i eyed so much because she was dark, pretty tall and has a pointed nose , omo that babe fine oh. I could remember Remi Olowolagba, Moses Adeliyi, Taiwo Jagun, Ihememan Nnajiaku, Olabisi , Yemisi, Sarumi Micheal, Patrick Madugba, Bola odejayi, Ebi Godwin, Usi Orisemeka, Sarah Ekpo beautiful and always smiling , Deji, Edith, Gladys( slim and smallish in body size but easy going)
Jude Okezie, Azeez Ekundayo, Eke Caroline, Senami Oketunde, Ganiyat, Olabisi Ebony, Aduni, Charles Osayeme, Afolabi Raheem, Christopher, Nurudeen Omoniepe, Alaba, David fowora, Yinka Oshilaja, Deola Oshifala, Bolaji Cambel, Tawa, Segun Agbebi Ebi, Eludini Adedayo, Godwin( Agama), Usi Orisemeka, Ismat, Bola kunmi, etc were the few i could remember?

Do you remember these guys in SS3 Big Moses Eyinoha, Obong( we call him Obol), Samuel, Benedict, Shedrack, Sunday Ajanakun, Bumi Aina, Bridget Esiri, Adetola, Kenneth and kelvin Ukumna( the half cast boys both siblings) etc were our seniors in SS 3. Some teachers who taught that year that I could remember were Mr. S.O. Bello(Rip) - Physics, Mr. Oshinfodurin Chemistry, Mrs Okunola Chemistry, Mr. Orotola with tribal Marks - Mathematics, Mr. Amao - Further Mathematics but later taken over by one Mr. Olatunji very quiet man, Mr. Onajirin - Geography, Biology was taken by one Slim beautiful dark lady but I have forgotten her name, Mr Ogunjobi with a tribal marks- English Language etc.

1994
In 1994 we were in SS 3 with the likes of Egbonwon Babatunde, Yinka Bamidele, Busola Omitunde, Wunmi, Peter Ogbejiele, Afolabi Coker(Rip), Deola Badejoko, Oniku Joseph, Tope Ogunowo, Bukola Agbaje, Titi Adekoya, Adeola Adeisa, Awosanya Taiwo, Ngozi Iheduru, Adelodun Seyi, Akeem Yekini, Alex Opaire , kuburat Shomuyiwa, Chidi Chinonye ,Toyin Ashiru, Tijani Abidat, Clement Udemba, Friday Ndujuba, c ( Oju igo),Tunlese Cadoso, Taiwo Oyeneye, Shittu, Francis Akakasiaka, Efom, Sunday Ogundele, etc
one day we( Chidi, Coker, Akeem and Clement) gave a set theory of a Further Mathematics assignment given to us by Mr. Amao our Further Mathematics teacher to Mr Orotola and he was brain storming on this question to no avail and he asked us where did you get this question from and we said Further Mathematics and he threw the question away at us and asked us if we don't know where our further maths teacher is. That was how we left.😁😁😁😁😁

Do you remember this slogan *Current Base* it was introduced by Akeem Yekini, he clearly knows what i am talking about but I will not give details on its origin. There was also another slang *WAEC shall judge* introduced by Chidi Chinonye. Akeem Yekini, Tajudeen Sikiru, Ngozi Iheduru and others knew what that meant and what originated it. WAEC truly judged when our WASSCE was released. No further details on this please .
There were so many events I could not recall that took place then, but I do know so many of us could remember. How time flies. Today the boys and girls have emerged as old boys and girls. To God be the glory. We are grateful to God for keeping our lives till this day while we remembered our departed colleagues; Keyinde Oyeneye, Afolabi Coker, Akinyemi Onyebanji Adelani, Obasnjo Erejuwa, Ibrahim Tijani. May their souls rest in peace.
To the best of my knowledge these are my account of the past 30 years of departure from National College Gbagada Lagos.

"Time doesn't take away from friendship, nor does separation.” True friendship doesn't fade across borders.
~Tennessee Williams
History is made today the 26th of October, 2024, in the groundbreaking event, marking the 30th anniversary of NACOGBA 94 Set. The best school in Nigeria. All roads will lead to the Bloomgreey swimming pool hall at #1 Nwabuo Street, Soluyi, Gbagada, Lagos. It's the gathering of old boys and girls who have distinguished themselves in life. Aside from the colorful preparation of this great event, it's one event that will knot the ties of separation spanning over three (3) decades among classmates and friends, igniting the bond of love and unity. it will truly be memorable as hidden faces in 30 years will be unvailed. Thirty (30) years is not 30 days nor 30 hours necessitating that it will be a grand celebration. Preparations are on top gears in the past weeks to make this historic and epoch making event an unforgettable one. No doubt, National College Gbagada has produced people of great reputes spanning across diverse works of life. Among them are doctors, lawyers, Engineers, Teachers, Architects, Artisans, Estate magnates, Chatered Accountants, Business Monguls, Nurses, Biochemist, etc.

The 94 set stands out among any other group for its remarkable bond of unity in brotherhood, love, care, and warmness, cutting across the memory lane spanning through 30 years and beyond. This is one group that recognizes the essence of unity among old classmates. This group has, in countless times, responded to the needs of her members aside from attending ceremonial events.I could remember the remarkable role it played in the covid year when it gave handouts to her members. In many instances, NACOGBA 94 Set has visited ailing members, made donations to members spouse in the event of a member's demise, and attended birthdays, funerals, weddings etc. This group is just one to belong.

*CHRONICLES OF THE YESTERYEARS*

1989
Just like yesterday, in 1989, many young boys and girls from diverse backgrounds, ethnic groups and bloodlines converged in pursuit of academic excellence at National College Gbagada Lagos. Although some others came in much later in preceeding years. We were in JS1 at that time looking innocent and naive, the primary school spirit of begging for food during breaks at the food vendors stand by the music room and introductory technology laboratory was still in many of us. I was the class captain in that year. One day a classmate said to me you are not suppose to be begging for food as a class captain it doesn't befit your status. That word touched me and it sank and i vowed to stop and i did stopped it. With me in Jss 1A was Ufom, Onobowu Rasaki, Sanusi Morufu, Monday Udoh, Babatunde Williams, Ahmed Afolabi, Sunday Ogbede, , Clement Udemba, Ramota, shade, and others whose name i can't remember. We went through the thick and thin of schooling. In those days I could recall a number of activities which took place in the school. We had annual interhouse sports, witnessed principals cup, inter schools debates, and quiz, and of course, there were fights. Did you express shock in there were fights? Yes indeed there were but I will remind you later. Do you remember Papa? alagbara Finbarrs of St. Finbarrs college the Fibarrians when muscles were glory. I heard of kettle but I can't recall who he was.

In those days at Nacogba, I could recall the likes of the school athletes like senior Charles, Lati, Ganiyu et al. Ganiyu was our mate but he was an excellent athlete. In football, the likes of goal keeper Erugo, our own goal keeper Osita Ugbade, skipo Micheal Iyama, the guy with the big head et al. In one of the interhouse sports in a particular year, I could remember students singing Afro Juju Shina Peters igba ti wa lo de. Yinka Bamidele was among those who sang from the balcony on the second floor right in front of SS1A class directly above the principals office. I heard her singing you can be Mr. White O! you can be Mr. Africa you can Mr. Nigeria O! without money, nothing can be done. In that year Mr. Oshomo ,Js3 Business studies teacher and Mr.S.O Bello of blessed memory were our house master in purple house. In the hit preceeding the interhouse sports, i could remember Ganiyu always taking the lead in all the track events. In that year were the likes of Mr. Olowokere and Mr. Odufunwa, our PHE teachers who officiated the games. Do you remember Uncle B? Mr. Akinbode the CRK teacher alias Ma pè gi fun e. Always dnacing when demonstrating. He always pulls his trousers to the chest region and always carries multiple canes, and at his sight, we ran away. There was a French teacher, one igbo woman. I can't recall her name. Once she comes into the class, it's bonjur madame, cè va bien, ase ya vo, merci boku, je m' appele, la va tutu le mo etc. were some of the words you hear then. Do you also remember the Maths teacher, Mr solution i can't remember his name, Mr. Agboola - Music teacher , Mrs Ajidahun - English and Literature teacher, Mrs Orisabunmi - integrated science teacher, Mrs Salako - Business studies Mr. Olowokere PHE, Mrs Osunsanya- Home Economics was our class teacher etc. .

1990
In Jss 2, One day, I went into the SS 2 class and a senior punished me for entering the class. I refused to kneel down when he asked me to, but I got some beaten but senior Ojo who came to my rescue.
Do you remember the year Mr. Ajakaye, the mathematics teacher died? He was very close to Mr Onajirin. In that year, he was buried in Matori Cemetery llupeju industrial Avenue. In that year, we ran after the ambulance, conveying his remains till we got to second Pedro before help came when a bus stopped and took us in. The principal then was Mrs Iyayi. Do you remember the fight? I did promise to remind you. It was one Segun Omoboriowo and one guy we called mike Tyson who invaded the school and attempted to beat up our Geography teacher, Mr. Onajirin who taught Social studies in Jss 2 at that time. There was pandemonium in that year, with many students screaming when Mr. Onajirin was advancing towards him. Mr.S.O Bello(Rip), Mr. Oshinfodurin joined Mr. Onajirin and were walking towards these guys who were retreating towards the gate as Messrs Onajirin, Oshifodurin and Bello advanced towards them. Hope you remember now?

Do you also remember Mr. Gaston Sanctus, our French teacher, he was revered by our seniors in those days. Whenever Mr Sanctus is coming, you will see the seniors running helter-skelter. I could remember these seniors running at his sight along the staircases, senior Jumbo, Charles, Ojo, Fasasi, Erinle, Shola and i will be wondering why they were running in those days. Each time you would hear Sanctus, Sanctus is coming, and everybody takes off. Do you remember the Labour Prefects Senior Fasasi, others like Lukman, Ademola, Erinle, Ojo, Jumbo, Sheriff, Head boy Adeola Hassan and Head girl Iyabo Atunlunte close friend to Angela Okpaire Head girl Gbagada grammar school, Chukuemeka ge pankla, Charles, Shola, et al.

Do you remember, brother Shogo of the Deeper Life Church, who was always going round classes to make announcements on Fridays for the Deeper Life fellowship meetings. Do you also remember that we used to have clubs and societies on Wednesdays. I was in the literary and debating club society and the press club, led by one slim tall senior his name is Emenike, and one Emeka . The literary and debating club was where i first learned that a dead body is called corpse. I remembered a riddle by Senior Chukwuemeka ge pan la which he called eba meta eran ahm amh . According to him he goes to eba joint buys eba without meat. He simply rolled up eba moles and disguise them as meat in his soup plate. After meal he eats his meat by swallowing it.
Do you remember one, Mr. kuye who teaches introductory technology who was feared for his energetic flogging. What about I will cane your head open? That statement is always from Mr. Ajibade, another introductory technology teacher. These teachers can flog you till you bleed.

One day in Jss2H, we were given class work to draw tile block whose score was recorded. I did and scored 2 over 5 and was crying, and someone scored 1 and was happy. Mr Ajibade laughed saying you got 2, and you were crying, and another got 1 and was happy. He eventually asked me to repeat the work, and I scored 4. Those in Jss 2H could remember this account. In my class were Seyi Adelodun, Usi Orisemeka, Ebi Godwin( Agama), Olawale Olatunbosun, Olanrewaju Fasasi, lateef Omiwole, Femi Marayesa, Akin Oyebanji, Clement Udemba, Abiodun Lawal, Shittu; now Mrs Bolaji Cambel, Bose, et al were the much i could remember who were in Jss2H in 1990. There was a black day when we lost a student who died from a fight in the school behind SS 2 block. He didn't die same day but did in subsequent days as a result of the fight. He was laid to rest at Atan Cemetery Yaba. I was among the students and teachers who attended the burial in company of Mr. Onajirin. Some teachers who taught in Jss2 in those days were Mrs. Etuwewe - Mathematics, Mr. Onajirin - social studies, Mr. Gaston Sanctus-French, Mrs Ajomale - Literature, Mr. Odufunwa -PHE. Mr. Odufunwa always cracked jokes. one day he told us how he saw his former friend with a bushy hair and he ran away and when asked why he was running he said he saw a mad man. Fine Arts was taught by one Deeper life woman who lived behind our school, CRK was taught by a female teacher who always called us raw materials.😁 I can't remember her name again.

1991
In JSS 3 in the year 1991, I was in Jss3C Mr. Oshomow was our form teacher. In that class that year were Egowon Babatunde, Akin Oyebanji, Sarah Ekpo, Lateef Tiyamiu, Olarenwaju Fasasi, Shade Olayannu Eke Caroline and others. I could remember Mrs Shodeke (can't say if i got that name) V.P. Academic with her slogan this is time to be serious and start reading. She read out the JSS 3 Junior WAEC results in the Jss1 block first floor where we assembled that year. There was heightened tension in those days while we awaited the results called. Akeem Yekini had straight A's in 12 subjects, Seyi Adelodun had 10 A's and 2 C's, Chidi Chinonye had 9A's and 3C's and a host of others who did quite well whom I couldn't remember their names and grade combination. Some were happy while some wept on that day. Yekini story so remarkable because he was always helping his mum to make sales at the new garage and was always with his books reading in the street. Apparently he had no proper time to read yet he distinguished himself. This account of Akeem's performance was the talk of the school in 1991. It was that year that we lost one tall, black and beautiful girl who was killed at the iyana oworo express way when she attempted crossing the express. May her soul rest in peace. One day in Jss 3B kuburat Shomuyiwa's class, i was by the window and Mr. Amushan was teaching. He asked a question and some persons could not answer it but kuburat knew the answer but was not called and Mr. Amushan called me in to answer the question and i did. Kuburat became angry because i use them shine. Thank God i got it they would have wooed me that day if i failed it. I received their claps that day. Teachers who taught in Jss 3 that year were. Mr. Oshomo - Business studies, Mr. Amushan - Mathematics, Mr. Odufunwa- PHE, Mrs Orisabunmi- integrated science, Mr Edem Bassey ( a student teacher) introductory technology, Mr Akintoye( student teacher) - Fine Arts, there was one Mrs Tomaye can't recall what she teaches etc.

1992
In 1992, we were in SS1A after we heard the results of the Junior WAEC and the class was filled to the brim because we all want to be called science students but when the heat was on many peached their tents to Arts and Commercial classes. 😁 I could remember one senior Bendict who came and said this was how we were many in our time and many dropped when the heat began. That actually happened. I could remember some people who moved, but i will save their names and image, you better beg me before i change my mind😁. Many of them are better of today taking that decision. So no regrets. During break you could see the girls doing their tete game clapping hands and shifting their legs back and forth. They continued this till they got to SS2.
In a Geography class, I could remember when Mr. Onajirin was teaching us earth's sphericity, he asked me to go and get the globe. When I got to his office i climbed the table to remove the florescent globe thinking that was the globe and one teacher asked me what are you doing I said Mr Onajirin asked me to bring the globe and everybody in the staff room fell into derisive laughter. After they finished laughing, they said, "Look at that round ball in a suspended arm. That's the globe and i took it. When Mr. Onajirin heard of it he sent for me and started another round of laughter.

One day i could recall in 1992 while in SS 1A, we went to Soluyi in Akin Oyebanji's house in search of toads for Biology practical in company of Usi Orisemeka, Ebi Godwin(Agama), Kehinde Oyeneye (My guy Kenny G) of blessed memory may his soul rest in peace, Egbonwon Babatunde, Clement Udemba, Akindele Kabiru(we called him Ajere), Alex Opaire, et al. I remembered running after kehinde when he caught the toad that escaped from my hands while I attempted catching it, and I fell while kenny escaped. Sadly It was that same year at the end of third term that Kenny G passed on from a brief illness as we were told. I remembered we went for a condolence visit in the company of Mr. S.O Bello(Rip), Mr. Onajirin
Mr. Amushan, Mr. Animashahun and other teachers and students. I could recall Kenny G's dad told us his name is Mr. Abayomi Oyeneye a retired principal.

In the class that year were the following students Egbonwon Babatunde, Yinka Bamidele, Busola Omitunde, Wunmi, Peter Ogbejiele, Sunday Ogundele, Afolabi Coker(Rip), Deola Badejoko, Oniku Joseph, Tope
Ogunowo, Bukola Agbaje, Titi Adekoya, Kehinde Oyeneye, Adeola Adeisa, Awosanya Taiwo, Ngozi Iheduru, Adelodun Seyi, Alex Okpaire , Kuburat Shomuyiwa, Chidi Chinonye , Tajudeen Sikiru ,Toyin Ashiru, Tijani Abidat, Clement Udemba, Friday Ndujuba ( Oju igo), Taiwo Oyeneye, Shittu etc. Some teachers who taught our class in that year were Mr. Amushan- Mathematics, Mr. Animashahun - Economics, Mr. Onajirin- Geography, Mrs Okunola Chemistry later assisted by a female student teacher, Biology- can't remeber who taught it , English - A fair beautiful igbo woman whose name I can't remember, Agric- Mr Ajani, Physics- a female Student teacher, Mr Amao Further Mathematics.

PoliticsBREAKING: Buhari Sacks CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele – Report by thirty(op): 1:00pm On May 25, 2022
President Muhammadu has sacked the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, an unconfirmed report has revealed.

Godwin Emefiele was engulfed in controversies after expressing genuine interest in becoming the next president of Nigeria and does not wish to resign his position before contesting.

After several outcry by the public, calling for his resignation shortly after purchasing the N100m form of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Emefiele approached a Federal High Court in Abuja to prevent the country’s electoral body INEC from disqualifying him.

President Buhari in a response to the expression of interest by his appointees ordered the resignation of every one of his cabinet members interested in vying for political offices in 2023.

While some of his appointees obeyed the order, many including the Governor of the CBN failed to resign.

On Tuesday, the CBN governor withdrew the suit he filed against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Attorney-General of the Federation over his presidential ambition.

His exact reasons for withdrawing the suit remain unclear, his Lawyers, however, explained that he prayed the court to discontinue the suit and make an order striking it out.

HealthU.S. To Ship 4 Million COVID-19 Vaccine Doses To Nigeria, 5.66 Million To South by thirty(op): 9:31am On Jul 29, 2021
WASHINGTON (Reuters) -
The U.S. government on Wednesday will ship nearly 10 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to two of the most populous African countries - Nigeria and South Africa - as the continent battles a third wave of infections, White House officials said.
Four million doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine will go to Nigeria and 5.66 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine to South Africa, the officials said.
The South Africa shipment is the single largest sent by the United States since it began sending vaccine shots overseas, one of the officials said. The latest shipments bring the total number of U.S. vaccine doses sent to Africa to 16.4 million.
The urgently needed help comes as amid growing concern about vaccination rates in Africa, which lag far behind those of advanced economies.
As of last week, African countries had administered just 60 million vaccine doses to a population that numbers over 1.3 billion, in part due to restrictions on shipments from vaccine-producing countries like India.
Experts worry that the highly contagious Delta variant could pose another setback, if countries begin requiring booster shots for fully-vaccinated individuals, a move that would slow shipments of urgently needed vaccines to developing countries.
The White House said equitable global access to safe and effective vaccines was essential to ending the pandemic.
"We are working to get as many safe and effective vaccines to as many people around the world as fast as possible," one of the White House officials said.
With the latest shipment to Nigeria and South Africa, the United States will exceed the 80 million vaccine doses that U.S. President Joe Biden had pledged in May to donate to countries around the world, one of the officials said.
Biden in June also announced plans to buy and donate 500 million Pfizer vaccine doses to 92 low- and lower middle income countries and the African Union, but those shipments will begin next month, the official said.

National Assembly Flooded As Roofs Leak

The roof of the National Assembly Complex leaked as it rained heavily on Tuesday.

The main lobby which leads to the chambers of the senate and the house of representatives was flooded owing to the downpour.

The press centre where reporters sit to monitor plenary sessions was not spared by the flood.

Domestic staff of the assembly battled for more than 20 minutes to drain out the pool of water.

But the situation did not stop legislators from sitting.

In 2019, the national assembly budgeted N42 billion for the renovation of the complex.

This sparked off criticism as some Nigerians frowned at the sum earmarked for the renovation.

Would the house have been built without a functional borehole? Wrong decision indeed, he would have gotten both.
You really made my day with your response.
Choosing the house or borehole does not make sense with the state of the community and condition of the man.
The man should have choose the house and the borehole with the same initial cost of building the house.
The question is: can the community maintain the borehole project.

Omotola called for it and she should be expecting more.

firstly, you didn't clearly defined your "money in circulation" and people decided to term it as free money the way you celebrities collected it during the last administration.

Secondly, your clean money saga literally mean you don't pay tax on your business. So why don't you do the needful.

To be candid, we Nigerian youths are lazy and the government and politicians take the advantage. We turned Nigeria into a service orriented country without producing nothing. Our best industries are financial and entertainment industry. Every year we produced engineering graduates that can't manufacturer the common spoon with abundant steel from Ajaokuta.

Omotola and madam BBOG should stop blaming government. Let us look inward to solve Nigeria problems.

Gid bless Nigerian
