Senator Gemade is miffed that President Goodluck Jonathan has pitched tent with the current governor of Benue state, Gabriel Suswam to unseat him from office.

Senator Zanna has reportedly indicated that the security of his people in Borno is of paramount importance claiming that the current government has not done enough to protect the people of his senatorial zone from rampaging Boko Haram militants.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, has already decamped to the APC to realize his ambition to become the Governor of Sokoto State. Mr. Tambuwal would likely send the house on an early christmas recess to avoid an immediate impeachment by forces loyal to President Jonathan.

I know and i am very sure that Gov. Babatunde Fashola is not a christian. It was Senator Bola Tinubu that change the religous status of the man.
How and why? The political stake holder in Lagos prefered Fashola (a christian) than any other candidates presented but they want a muslim candidate that is why he came throu Ansar deen society of Nigeria.
Secondly, the case hijab and crimination, can a muslim oppose his religous doctrine and practice. Capital NO.
Thirdly, google it, Fashola is a grand patron of Boy bridgage of Nigeria and i dout it if a practicing musilim can do that. And many more.

We want to use this medium to
express our appreciation to you
and your Government for the
recent seizure of $9.3million and
$5.7million that was illegally
brought into your country by the
Federal Government of Nigeria
supposedly for the purchase of
arms and ammunition.
We want to thank you for a job
well done in helping to
checkmate this apparent act of
corruption through questionable
transactions emanating from
Nigeria at this time.
Our hope is that the United
States, Britain, France, China,
Japan, Dubai and other African
Governments would emulate
South Africa in helping to curb
corruption in Nigeria especially
by intercepting all questionable
transactions and proceeds of
corruption from Nigeria.
We are not unmindful about the
fusillade of criticisms that have
trailed this patriotic action of
yours to have impounded the
money until satisfactory
explanations are tendered by the
Nigerian Government who have
claimed ownership of the money.
But we want to urge you not to
relent in your efforts to help fight
corruption in Nigeria despite the
scathing criticisms, name calling
and fierce intimidation.
We also want to use this medium
to tell the Nigerian Government
to stop defending the
indefensible. They should own
up to reality now that the cat is
out of the bag and devise means
to remedy the image of the
country that has taken undue
bashing as a result of this
diplomatic fiasco.
We believe that it is more
beneficial to use the time and
efforts now being deployed by
Nigerian government officials in
blaming the South African
authorities to identify and bring
those responsible for this
corrupt and embarrassing act to
justice.
We hold that the South African
authorities have not done
anything wrong as they are only
being strict against corruption in
and outside their national
boundaries, that is why we are
calling on other nations to
emulate South Africa.
We also wish to call on President
Goodluck Jonathan and his
government to be fair to
Nigerians. Mr. President is not
unaware that corruption is the
order of the day in his
government today and that
urgent and drastic measures are
needed to curtail the corruption
in Nigeria. Let's stop with the
conspiracy theories, let's stop
defending corruption.
This recent event shows that the
South African Government does
not condone or defend
corruption like the Nigerian
Government does. Today, South
Africa agencies are investigating
their own president, a similar
action in Nigeria would be
regarded as anathema.
Nigerians know the truth about
what is happening. We should
stop hiding under insurgency to
loot public funds that ought to
be channeled to developmental
purposes, instead let's thank the
South African Government. Let's
cut our penchant for diverting
public funds.
We believe that these kind of
illegal transactions have been
going on unknown to Nigerians.
But for this South African
episode, Nigerians would not
have known what this
administration is doing with tax
payer's money.

APC Primaries Time Table Released

The All Progressives Congress, APC, will hold its governorship and presidential primaries on November 15 and December 2, 2014 respectively.

This was contained the party’s timetable for the nomination of candidates for elective offices on its platform.

According to APC, its national convention will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, while the expression of interest forms for all offices will go on sale as from Monday, 6 October, 2014.

It stated that those interested in seeking the party’s nomination to stand in the presidential, governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives and state Houses of Assembly elections are expected to pick their forms between October 6 and 19, 2014.

The sale of nomination forms for presidential aspirants will commence on 20 October and end on 6 November, 2014, while the screening of aspirants has been slated for between November 10 and 13. November 14 and 15 are for appeals.

The sale of nomination forms for those interested in the governorship race is slated for between October 20 and November 9, 2014, while the screening of aspirants will hold as from November 10 to 12, 2014 and appeals slated for between November 13 and 14, 2014.

The party’s governorship primaries is to hold on Saturday, 15 November , 2014 while appeals emanating from the primaries will be entertained as from November 18 to 22, 2014.

The sale of nomination forms for senatorial aspirants will begin on 20 October and end on 17 November, 2014, while their screening will hold between November 19 and 20, 2014.

Also appeals emanating from the conduct of the screening exercise will be entertained on November 24 and 25.

Senatorial primaries will hold on November 29 and appeals will be entertained between December 1 and 2, 2014.

The sale of nomination forms for House of Representatives will commence on October 20 and end on November 16, 2014, while screening of aspirants will start on 17 November and end 19 November 19, 2014.

Appeals will begin from 20 November and end on 21 November, 2014 while primaries will hold on 24 November. Appeals emanating from the primaries will be entertained between November 25 and 26.
