Governor of Jigawa State Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has received his AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine at Government House in Dutse.

The governor’s personal physician administered the vaccine on him at the government house clinic.

DAILY POST reports that the Jigawa State Government received 68,520 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, to be administered on 35,000 people in the state.

Speaking after the vaccination, Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar said the COVID vaccine is free and safe.

He explained that the vaccine will be distributed across the 287 primary Health care centres across the state.

“We are going to distribute the vaccine to all the primary Health cares centres in 287 ward that was already been provided with steady power supply”

Badaru said the COVID-19 vaccine will be administered to healthcare staffs, religious leaders, traditional rulers and security personnel to instil confidence among Jigawa citizens.

Don't think people are happy waiting to receive money from buhari because he is kind but everyone is willing to get his/her share from our commonwealth before you squandered everything through your deep-rooted corrupt systems you people have created. Never read or heard responsible government sharing money to citizens to grow economy or cushion the effect of past economic hardship. But since government has no direction, people will surely take their cut.
