This is bad. To think just last night, I saw a Benue links bus fully loaded with passengers headed to Makurdi around 11pm. They stopped over to refuel and I engaged the driver in conversation.

I asked him if he wasn't aware of what Fulani are doing on the lafia - Makurdi road. He was dismissive. I wished him luck and drove off.

Mind you, Yelwata is on a major federal highway. The following major military formations are all less than 35 minutes drive. to Yelwata. Nigerian army 72 BN Makurdi, Nigerian air force tactical air command, and others within lafia. Yet the military has failed to go after these attackers who have lodged in the forests of Nasarawa state and attack from there.

Let me use this opportunity to tell those that are not aware of what Humphrey Nwosu did what he actually did. Without Prof Nwosu, MKO Abiola wouldn't have been declared winner of June 12 1993 Presidential election.


Honestly I see that the reason most Yoruba youths of today dislike Igbos and always see Igbos as their greatest enemy is because of decades of misinformation, lies and propaganda some political elites told them about Igbos for their selfish political gains.


One of such lies is that Igbos did not vote for MKO ABIOLA in 1993 Presidential election.


Anybody reading this can verify whatever I am going to say right now.


In 1993 Presidential election, we had two major contestants, namely:

MKO Abiola (Yoruba) with Kingibe (Hausa) as running mate VS Alhj Tofa (Hausa-Fulani) and Sylvester Ugo (Igbo) as running mate

The INEC (then known as NEC) Chairman was Igbo man, Prof. Humphrey Nwosu.

IBB didn't want the election to hold....he was indecisive.....

The election finally held against all odds, all thanks to Humphrey Nwosu the NEC Chairman.

Southeast back then had just 4 states and out of the 4 states, MKO Abiola won Anambra state and got over 42% of total votes cast in the other Southeast states while Tofa won MKO in the other 3 southeast states with narrow escape; around 47% votes while MKO got 43%.



But still, Yorubas continue to lie that Igbos did not vote MKO Abiola.....imagine a prominent Igbo man was on the ballot as VP to Tofa yet Igbos voted massively for MKO Abiola such that he won one state in Igbo land and the other 3 states MKO Abiola lost in Igbo land, he secured more than 40% votes and you still continue with this lie that Igbos never voted for MKO Abiola....honestly na only God go reward you guys and your lies and hatred for Igbos.....its only God and nature that will do the justice.



IBB wanted the election result collation stopped without announcement, against all odds.....Prof. Humphrey Nwosu an Igbo man risked it all and still went ahead to announce MKO Abiola as the winner of that election yet you ungrateful Yorubas never give him any credit...but will rather mention unscrupulous Igbos with no official government appointments like Arthur Nzeribe and co for whatever role they chose to play for their selfish pockets....and till date, have you ever seen Igbos talk about Arthur Nzeribe or even celebrate him?

Back then in Uniben, me and one of my guy tried starting up a campus fellowship. We called ourselves Pastors and used lecture theatres in Pharmacy and Medicals for fellowship meetings. We usually rented speakers, microphone, keyboard and some students joined us.

I think the maximum number we got then was around 30 students. After service, we usually went back to our hostels tired and shared the offerings and tithes between ourselves after removing the money for renting of speakers, microphone and keyboards. If we had grown the fellowship and became GOs, imagine the stream of income it would have become today.

I stopped within a year after my conscience pricked me. So what Abel Damina is saying is 100% true....I subscribe to giving offerings which is a free will thing but you see that tithe thing...Pastors should tell me if they are levites.
