Relax..you are not the only one...infact you'll be the fourth person I know that got a dispatched update from Vfs on 29/07/2015 but did not receive approval mail...and they all did medicals. My wife, her friend and like two other guys on this forum mentioned the same. Lets us keep our fingers crossed till packages are picked up.

but i strongly believe its an approval....
just go pick your documents your approval letter will be included in you package.

Good morning my good people. Please I need clarification on my vfs passport status:
I applied via paper route on 19th of June, 2015, received medical call on 13th July 2015, and did the medical on 21st July 2015. I tracked my application on vfs website yesterday in the morning and it said the application was still being processed in Accra.

When I checked it again this morning, it says your processed passport has been dispatched...on 29/07/2015, but I haven't received any approval mail.

Please what could that mean?

I'm so sorry about that. He must be the guy I met at IOM
today. We both got the same tag number 002.
I did my health assessment today.

he applied online 19th may and got his medical request on the 15th of July and didnt check for any update whatsoever after he printed it out and paid for the medicals sef same day.He was at IOM this morning and the IME number didn't return any search.we checked and discovered the wnd mail

When did he get the medical request, and when did he go to the hospital? Was it IOM he went to?

Update: Hubbys application (opeyemi8) was refused.he got to the hospital for his medicals and they couldn't pull up his information.went back to check for any updates and discovered a refusal mail was actually sent about 2hrs after he got a a mail to do medicals.
Reason for delay:Purpose of visit ,travel history and they are not convinced he is coming back.
We are refiring of course and thankful as much as we were when he got the medicals.

Yes, you did. That was the message I got. I didn't worry about that because I know that study permit applications are not processed in Lagos.

No. I didn't track it until after two weeks of submission. But on the 19th of June after I had done my biometric data capture, I received two emails from vfs global:
1. That my application has been processed in their office ;
2. (an auto email) that my application has been forwarded to Canada Visa Office in Lagos.

You can't remember when exactly it changed from forwarded to accra to "being processed"

When I checked it very early this morning before going to work, it says it's being processed in Ghana.

Says who, there is a cousin of mine here on NL he got the admission without this test you're talking about.

@bighead1, I'm speaking from experience. I took my Pre-Admissions Writing test on the 15th of February, 2015; the test was proctored by PROCTORU. I got my admission notification on the 11th of May, 2015. Admissions package was mailed out on the 22nd of May, 2015, and I received it yesterday, 11th of June, 2015.

The tuition is relatively cheap. Application for admission usually starts in September/October every. Before you are given admission, you will have to take a Pre-Admissions Writing test.

I'm sure you'll be able to use the copy you have presently, as long as it states the school's information, your information, start date, course of study, and any other extras. Right now, try to focus your energy on your other required documents. As you said, there's really no time left.

Thank you so much @Kepner for your response. But on page 2 of form IMM1294 (APPLICATION FOR STUDY PERMIT MADE OUTSIDE OF CANADA), where it says DETAILS OF INTENDED STUDY IN CANADA, Line 1 says, in parentheses, "ATTACH THE ORIGINAL LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE". What do you think about that
