Good day everyone,

I already submitted my DS form but I need to make a couple of changes before my interview. Can I just fill out another one?. And hope it won't cause any issue?

My advice is that you go big on the employee angle (show you're doing really well as a middle-class person.) and you're a top manager in the company. You can also emphasize that the company is your Dad's and that you have a place in your family business, but it must be presented correctly. If you show too much that the company is your family's, they might just think you're using the business as a front to japa.

I'm assuming you're fully funded by the school. If not, don't take my advice pls
Thanks for this. It's not fully funded. The school offered about 9k$ as scholarship while the deficit left is about 19k. The rest will be covered by my uncle and his bank statement shows he is more than capable.. so what's your say ?

Hello, Good evening everyone, this is a bit urgent please.

I've read a lot of rejections at the visa interview due to being unemployed and not having enough reason to come back to Nigeria. Actually my dad has a family business which he has been running for years. I do work there sometimes. We actually work with a lot of big companies in lagos. I'm thinking if filling out that I'm employed in my family's company in my DS form and also presenting my Company's ID card at the interview just in case.. this will proof that I'm employed and I have enough reason to come home and manage the family business along with my dad.

Is this a good idea ?

Note: The program in view is MBA Finacial Management

You have to make sure your makes sense, they can ask you if your plan is to come back and manage your Dad's company then why do you need a master's degree in "physiology"(for example), unless your course is related to your dad's business then maybe the master's will be an aim to gain better knowledge in the field, else the story might not fly
I'm actually going for an MBA in financial management which puts me up for managerial roles in any organisation as well as my dad. So does this still fly?
