I'm damn tired of all the brouhaha surrounding Efe's pidgin English. Like what the hell is wrong with a language synonymous with our country, Nigeria? Even this Big Brother is called BB Naija with the "Naija" being a child of the pidgin language. Marvis blows Pidgin almost like Efe, but how come it's only Efe that gets hated on? Because he's seen as a threat and Marvis is not. The hate is clear. Efe is speaking a language that's not outlawed in BB house. Big Brother permitted only English and Pidgin English to be spoken in the house, so what's Efe's crime in obeying the rules? Has Big Brother ever called you haters to say he wants Efe out for speaking in Pidgin?

Pidgin English is our second most accepted language after English, the language every Tom, Dick, and Harry sabi after English. There's no shame or wrong in speaking it. During my time in the university, I spoke Pidgin all through, even in my lecture rooms. I even communicated with some of lecturers in my local dialect. The only times I spoke in fluent English was during lectures to ask questions or contribute to a topic. But when exam came, I wrote in English and passed, came out of the university with my degree. So what the hell is all the noise about? Speaking in Pidgin doesn't make you an illiterate. If I sama you with ogbonge pidgin for real life, you go doubt say I sabi anything wey resemble Queen's English. And please shut up on BB not using a pidgin speaker as an ambassador. Olamide can't rap in fluent English yet no English rapper in Naija is more popular than him. Yet he's the ambassador of our telecommunications, bagging different endorsements. Phyno nko? Don't even get me started!!

So next time you hateful creatures open your odoriferous gobs to yarn opata, ask yourselves this:

Did Biggie ban Pidgin in the house?
Does speaking Pidgin get a HM disqualified?
Is Efe breaking any rule by speaking in Pidgin?

If no is the answer to all these questions then shut the hell up. If you can't handle Efe speaking in our second lingua franca, it's either:

You mute your TV.
You smash your TV.
You change your channels when he's talking.
You don't re-subscribe when your sub finishes.
You manage Efe and hope he's evicted.
Or you kill yourself!! Either way no-one will miss you.

And finally, it's time I burst this myth that Efe can't speak good English. This is a lie from the clan of haters. Efe like the average Nigerian who hangs out with his homies speaks Pidgin because all of us na area. We sabi ourselves. His HMs are his fellow countrymen. No need faking. I don't give a hoot about any of the HM. I don't vote or support any particular HM. I'm not, and can't be an Efe fan. I'm even tired of Efe and Tboss fans disturbing my eyes with their needless back and forth. If not for the fact that I don't wish any of the HM ill luck, I'd have wished for Efe and Tboss to be evicted so that we can stop reading the power tussles between their fans as it's getting redundant.

I only wrote that not to defend Efe per se, but to shut up those belittling Pidgin language like it's crime to speak a language associated with my country. People were making it look like poor people, or local people only speak pidgin, and that is wrong.

Sad how most of Efe's supporters are now claiming neutrality and saying they don't support any housemate.
There is nothing wrong with pidgin,it only becomes a problem when a self proclaimed first class graduate of one of the most reputable courses in Nigeria ,that brought about greats like soludo etc can't string up a correct sentence. It shames our educational system,it shames us as Nigerians.

For all those doubters saying am a woman and those asking how I fished out the gay dudes in the house, am talking from personal experience.Being a fine boy with muscular built, these gay guys can never let you rest. The show started going down hill from the auditions. Who picked Debbie rise and marvis over Ese or Jon. They went for talents forgetting that the task presentation was just one hour on a Thursday and the rest of the week housemates had to rely on their initiative to entertain.
Then our second problem were Efe 's fans. They eliminated every single person with potentials to entertain. Soma, gifty, miyonce. These three would have brought the house down and shaked things up but they were traded for marvis, a girl who literally offers nothing in the house. They were looking for a Titanic love story instead we got a razzie nominee.
Now look where we are, not even 12 am and all the housemates are sleeping like overfed broiler chickens.

Kemen confesses his feeling to Uriel.
He told her he was into t boss for a while but he has since moved on. That if Uriel was thinking there was a road block between their supposed chemistry, that there was none at all.
He switches over to say why he needs the money, he says he must win the money because there are lots of things he plans to use it and do and even if he doesn't win he knows where he is coming from, his state Akwa ibom, his struggles.
Uriel interjected telling him she would visit him and where and where us he gonna take her to, as a friend not a girl friend.
He goes on to tell how he wanted to travel in 2016 and decided against it. Story full him mouth sha.

People say we have no valid reasons for disliking Efe ,I laugh at those people because at the end of the day they are the stupid ones.
This is a reality show and at such you know most of the things are scripted, from taking orders from an invisible man to having light and luxury 24 hours of the day, things we all know are not applicable in the real world.
Now speaking about the housemates, what do we really know about these housemates apart from the things they've showed us and a little slip up here and there. I laugh when they say this one is real and that one is not.
How do we define being real?
In a real world someone might wake up one day, and decide to spend the whole day in bed or wake up moody and decide not to speak to anyone all day.In a real world no one sings and dances everytime the music is on, in a real world people don't give motivational speeches all the time ,in a real world arguments and fights does not end abruptly after a few exchanges, it escalates to the point of fighting, exchange of blows, exchange of heavy words and malice that last months. In a real world people don't shower with boxers and bras, in a real world people don't apologise after failing their task, they soak it in and move on.
Now for those asking why we hate Efe, even though we have no dirt on him, my answer is simple I don't dislike Efe, I dislike his character in this scripted drama. All of them came with the script they wanted to play and I feel Efe has not played his role well to deserve the adulation and hype associated with his name, especially as there are far more talented actors in this drama who are way more deserving to win this game.
So in this show of fakers let the best faker win.
Don't ask me why I dislike Efe, I don't know Efe. I only know the lazy and incompetent character he is playing and it ain't cutting it for me.

Linguistically speaking no language is better than the other...maybe socially English is perceived to be better than pidgin...but the language u choose to use doesn't reduce ur relevance as a human being.Chika opkala (zebudia) ,has Neva been caught using the correct form of the English language but he is still well respected. Yal should get a better reason for disliking Efe and stop all this pidgin this pidgin that. As a person and as a naija babe I love blending my sentences with pidgin its called code switching. How can a sane person pick Efe (who struggle to make a correct sentence- truth b told) ahead of the likes of ttt, Kemen, bisola and Bassey who are the leading character in the game,and you tell me nothing informs the decision.
Other past winners(Ebuka,Uti,Dillish) have got great personality and they can address a crowd properly not someone who goes hiding when a guest walks into the house.

A 24 year old boy who can't make one full sentence in correct English, unkempt, untidy and uninspiring.
He fails any test where brain work is required and gets loud and incoherent when drunk. I feel ashamed of the level of support this troll has, it speaks so much about our willingness to embrace mediocrity .
And you wonder why, our nation at 50 is still largely underdeveloped, attribute it to things like this.
