Thats the big question we fail to ask regarding these players. Yes they are eligible for us but do they really want to play for us?? If you watch the first half and observe Onyedika closely, you will see how our game flowed and our midfield game was connecting thanks to his calm distribution and tactical positioning. He didnt need to make usesless runs but only necessary runs. He always was available to recycle possession, build from the 1st phase of transition and provide passing outlets for Onyeka or Akinsanmiro/FDB to spread the play to either wings.
Onyedika was the metronome in the middle. He didnt do anything flashy but he just kept the ball moving.

If you watch the Egypt game normally, you wont see Onyedika's function but if you watch Onyedika closely, you will see the whole game of that first half.

Onuachu can actually help us in the midfield if well utilized,
just a little bit behind the strikers,similar to how Keshi used Sunday Mba.
His presence would be a big factor there.
I've always had this thought whenever I saw him play and wished he was a proper midfielder because of his size.
He is always seem to me like a utility player.

There is no harm trying it out on friendlies.

His strength is in the 18yard box. Anything that gets to his leg within that area, he utilizes it effectively.
Playing long balls or through balls to him doesn't produce much results. That's why at Trabzonspor, they have very very creative and efficient wingers who push the ball into the final third thereby drawing attention to themselves and living space for him to be free. That's how he thrives and became the highest goal scorer in Turkish league. Many SE coach has failed to realize this. I wonder if Chelle actually follow up these guys on their club games??
