Judging from the game played yesterday, could someone analyze a better replacement for the DM position between Akinsamiro & Nnadi?
Are they better than the current DM we have, Ndidi?

Nonsense. The midfield today was a lot more organized than what Iwobi brings. Iwobi just can't control a midfield, simple. He makes good passes once in a while but that's where it ends. He can hardly withstand a press, make a tackle or take on players successfully to create chances.

I'm comfortable with an Nnadi, Onyedika and Akinsanmiro/ Bashiru midfield. Let's take Iwobi back to the wings to compete with Ejuke and co.

Whether Federal character or not, Nigeria is a Federation. Our constitution stipulates every region needs representatives at the highest level of the ministry, and sports is one of them.
Football is one(if not solely) harmonizing factor in this country that brings joy to millions of its citizen. Every region will be happy to have atleast one representative invested to the team.
NFF inclusion of 1 or 2 northerners in a wide list of 28 players shouldn't be an issue of debate but our task is to pressure them, in integrating the Best Form of athletes into the fold. We have had the best crop of players from the northern regions including our immediate captain Ahmed Musa who was retired unceremoniously that set a record many are yet to break till this day.
Let for us know that the term "federal character" is an active terminology in the Nigerian constitution and will always be upheld whenever matter of national interest arises.

To those of you ignoring DR Congo obvious breach of their Constitutional law pertaining FIFA clearance. Ask yourself how come FIFA an organization that usually take over 1 year to clear west African players were able to clear 6 Congolese players in few Months. It happened simply because there was a breach of their own Constitutional law. A player like Victor moses and Ademola lookman weren’t cleared to play for Nigeria in over 2 years and Nigeria has a Dual-citizenship Law in effect. I am not a northerner and I love the inclusion of Tochukwu Nnadi and other new faces, there are 28 players there, in previus AFCONs its 23. Addition of 5 other players to give them the chance is commendable. Emmanuel Emenike was 27 during the AFCON that he helped us won, he was moving accross the backwaters of Europe before Keshi gave him the chance. Likewise Sunday Mba who was about the same age playing in NPFL before Keshi picked him. Marcos Senna made his debut for spain at 29 and won the Euros the only tournament he played for spain at 32. So spare me the age card, emotional blackmail, its trash.

At least this arguement will sensor the quick urge of people here to stop profiling players based on their tribe or region, but clearly on merit. Every Nigerian player deserve a chance, its not the exclusive right of anyone. Udo
