WarHammer2000: Nonsense. The midfield today was a lot more organized than what Iwobi brings. Iwobi just can't control a midfield, simple. He makes good passes once in a while but that's where it ends. He can hardly withstand a press, make a tackle or take on players successfully to create chances.
I'm comfortable with an Nnadi, Onyedika and Akinsanmiro/ Bashiru midfield. Let's take Iwobi back to the wings to compete with Ejuke and co. Bahiru is better AM than Iwobi 100million times! Wait till AFCON proper you will see the guy in serious action. This is just a friendly. Everybody dey avoid leg. |

Whether Federal character or not, Nigeria is a Federation. Our constitution stipulates every region needs representatives at the highest level of the ministry, and sports is one of them. Football is one(if not solely) harmonizing factor in this country that brings joy to millions of its citizen. Every region will be happy to have atleast one representative invested to the team. NFF inclusion of 1 or 2 northerners in a wide list of 28 players shouldn't be an issue of debate but our task is to pressure them, in integrating the Best Form of athletes into the fold. We have had the best crop of players from the northern regions including our immediate captain Ahmed Musa who was retired unceremoniously that set a record many are yet to break till this day. Let for us know that the term "federal character" is an active terminology in the Nigerian constitution and will always be upheld whenever matter of national interest arises. |

This should give you your answer already, DRC is screwed.
I don’t want us to go, but see fifa rule is fifa rule, and once it’s up, and they look into it, then it’s most likely true. Yes. Being screwed? 💯💯 But, if that will make FIFA to cancel their qualification, that's another food of thought. |

Bannedlargejr: To those of you ignoring DR Congo obvious breach of their Constitutional law pertaining FIFA clearance. Ask yourself how come FIFA an organization that usually take over 1 year to clear west African players were able to clear 6 Congolese players in few Months. It happened simply because there was a breach of their own Constitutional law. A player like Victor moses and Ademola lookman weren’t cleared to play for Nigeria in over 2 years and Nigeria has a Dual-citizenship Law in effect. I do not care whether NFF is an inept organization or super eagles aren’t in form. The law is the law and anyone that breaks the law should be penalized for it. Otherwise, it fails to become the law This is what I told here last month. Just like in the case of Gift Orban. Why hasn't he been cleared after a long time. It's almost 3yrs he said he wants to represent Nigeria, but FIFA dey look into his matter. |

Your deflection tacticts is legendary i swear, you surreptiously tried every thing you could to ignore the evidences i showed you just from few days ago, I have seen worst on this thread if you search backwards. Where people are Calling northerners names on several occasion blaming them for national teams failures. You chose to ignore that. Baba you are a big hypocrite and i will die on this hill. First can you first admit that you gave a false info by saying he is in div 2 and rarely plays? And You are not agreeing with me that he plays regularly for the sake of conceeding. Its 100 FACT. ADMIT YOUR ERRORS.
Again, I have not justified the inclusion of Usman anywhere, I am just curious that of the 28 man list, only the northerners are singled out for condemnation, backed up by the call to divide Nigeria and the federal character rubbish, and this has been a regular pattern here. shey you no see that one abi? Nonsense. I am not a northerner and I love the inclusion of Tochukwu Nnadi and other new faces, there are 28 players there, in previus AFCONs its 23. Addition of 5 other players to give them the chance is commendable. Emmanuel Emenike was 27 during the AFCON that he helped us won, he was moving accross the backwaters of Europe before Keshi gave him the chance. Likewise Sunday Mba who was about the same age playing in NPFL before Keshi picked him. Marcos Senna made his debut for spain at 29 and won the Euros the only tournament he played for spain at 32. So spare me the age card, emotional blackmail, its trash.
At least this arguement will sensor the quick urge of people here to stop profiling players based on their tribe or region, but clearly on merit. Every Nigerian player deserve a chance, its not the exclusive right of anyone. Udo You get time to Dey reply that m***u. With his long epistle like that of the Nigerian constitution. I just discovered Usman Mohammed I'd the guy that scored the wonderful, stunning goal against Athletico Madrid in Uyo. That alone proves he is a player with confidence and moreover, skilled! I wonder how many players in the current SE fold can take on a player one-one not to talk about taking up to 3 players at once and scoring an exceptional goal. Is it their best attacking player(Iwobi) that dances around the ball and always jittery infront of goal that will give them Afcon? Usman's inclusion is long overdue and it's a welcomed development. |

SpencerForbes: Valid point. Honestly, if we’re keeping it 💯 , I’d rather help a lady than a guy. I know some people will come for my head 😂😂 (I prefer helping younger guys) than those “I been get am before” men.
From my experience, I’ve received way more support from the female gender. You’ll ask a guy for help, he’ll say he’s broke and tell you to 'hustle harder,' only for you to find out he’s spending that same cash on a babe. Meanwhile, a lady who genuinely likes you will stick her neck out for you.
That said, I separate friendship from dating. I help my female friends because they reciprocate most times than men. But for my main chick? I apply brakes to avoid 'see finish.' 😂 Even professionally, na women dey refer clients pass men. Ok bro. Whatever rocks your boat. Our stories are different, just like our destinies differ.
