LordTheus: We'll bounce back from this. We needed this loss. For years, we've been using fanciful perfume to mask our pungent body odor without treating the root cause of the odor. Hopefully this spurs the FG to declare a state of emergency on our football. Losing back to back World Cups is no joke.
If Senegal and Morocco can suddenly dominate African football after being minnows for the entire 20th century and part of the 21st, why can't we?
I find it poetic though, that the two biggest African football powerhouses in Cameroon and Nigeria are currently in the doldrums. Bro, sorry to quote you: Which FG? This current one?? Otilo

Oasis007: ......I know emotion garnished with pain still dey our body but we need to tell ourselves the truth.
Only Osimhen and Benjamin deserve the shirt, to some extent, Bassey as well. Rest should go and focus on their club careers.
DRC deserve the slot, I said it before the match even got to PK. We were completely outplayed and tactically destroyed.
We weren’t given breathing space at all in the second half and extra time. They owned the game and deserve to progress.
...and Chelle is never an issue. Tactically he got it right, especially in the first half but execution is the problem.
He gave Lookman, Iwobi, and Chuks, freedom to roam and dictating the play but the team couldn’t convert chances that came up in the first half.
We too dey overrate these lads on this board. The earlier we accept Nigeria is parading very average players the better.
Some are claiming we have midfielders and Uche is being mentioned?! Same Uche that is glued to bench at Crystal Palace?!
We are parading bunch of bench warmers or players that their careers have nosedived, yet we expect them to play well?!
NFF should clear all their allowances, then free most of them. Chelle should be allowed to assemble a new team as soon as possible. God bless you my brother for saying the truth! Not laced by emotions nor passionate about whatever damñ thing they are supporting. |

MetalJigsaw: Why bench Akor when he compliments Osimhen and make work easier for him. At least one of Akor or Simon should have started.
Simon should have started not Lookman. We hardly scored goals when Lookman play. Simon creates chances, draws defenders to himself and is very effective while helping defense bunch Chelle is carried away by APOTY award. Chelle doesn't learn from his mistakes.
And when it comes to Midfield onyedika is better But he still gets benched. How can a professional midfielder be losing the ball carelessly. Iwobi and Lookman are so guilty of this. 💯 |

CapitalCee: Why is availability a problem for Osihmen? I know he might be injured. But man can’t just be available for save his life. Look at Haaland for example he plays all matches. Salah and Mane in their prime plays all matches. Na una dey hype all these guys to heaven. I no send them at all! At all! His Ego is out of this world. Somebody that scored 6goal in UEFA Champions League out of which 3 are penalty spot kicks na so dem dey hype am that he is the Best striker in the whole world when it's time to show he lose signal. That game took a nise dive when he didn't show up for 2nd half. His combination with Akor would have changed the dynamics of that game in the 2nd half. That how Eric Chelle planned it to be but your guy FRICKED out at las. |

Dannyxy: Simon should be banned from that team…
For so long very mediocre, what does he even add to the team?
Leadership zero, drive zero, assist just once in a while, goals no, nothing just to loose penalties that could have won us the game. Watch his for Paris FC next week and see him performing wonders. These are the kind of bad omen to upcoming young players like Fredric Benjamin, Bassey and they need to be exterminated ASAP! Don't be surprised he is among the 5 players that mastermind the boycott. |

BankyGee: €213M XI vs. €81M XI
Omo... I'm damn heartbroken 😔 I feel for Nwabali more, he made that last minute save and ran into the frame of the goal, saved two penalties to keep the hope alive, but people like Simon can't take penalties to save their lives. If defenders are missing PKs, you wey be attacker supposed dey play PK like small girl?
In all, Éric Chelle is still the man, anybody saying otherwise no sabi wetin them dey talk. I just weak... 4 years? Headache wan kee me 😔💔 That Guy and Iwobi pain me pass! I'm sure Iwobi will lose his penalty if he ever got the chance. Football pundits has been saying this dude has nothing to offer the team since finals against Cote d'lvoire but because he's someone's cousin they keep parading him. He isn't physical and not used to African physical type of football especially in that midfield where they out-muscled him. Yet he keep making the cut. |

Chuks was playing a free role which was helping us transition more easily from defense to attack, piaaaammm he was yanked off for Ejuke who can neither pass, dribble nor mark. forgiveness: The coach didn't have second option. Imagine, he didn't prepare for penalty.
All best penalty players were pulled off. This coach is an amateur. What do you expect when your average players are feeling too big? If you tell them to practice penalties or dribbling they feel they are being down graded But these are the basic ethics players should have! Everytime they are on their phones pressing and listening to music. What actually do they go to training to do ? |

We will be back. Till then, Ciao...

Sonnobax15:
 Words on a marble...
I remember last year and the previous years there-in,when my then female bestie and I were still close.....As a Matter of fact, feelings were already creeping in and I could feel it.......Then,came the bombshell 👇
Months later, she told me about her new BF who had been wooing her for some time and she had just agreed to date him.......Omoh,na from that day I begin to set boundaries between the two of us ......This was someone whom we'd hardly go a day without speaking on the phone,at least like 5 times every day...All her aunts knows me so well..As a Matter of fact, they even see me as a younger brother to them,as well as her mom............ These days,we only view each other's status on WhatsApp and just pass by....Few days ago,I saw her status like--"We used to be besties, but I don't know what happened?".
I just smiled within, and said to myself--"The boundary I set was for your own good my sis"
Bottom line is that,as a guy,if your banny has a male bestie and still insist on not ending the bestie stuff, just know that you've got yourself a co-boyfriend.. At this your you still don't know women are indecisive?? Especially young girls from puberty till their menopause before you start seeing signs of them taking responsibility of their actions and being remorseful on how naive they were as teenagers? Problem with most men don't know is that women are like a course that need to be studied before you can make headway with them(If you have the luxury of time) But let me burst your bubble: You can still be fuckïng that your bestie who is in relationships now or married( whatever) and her man won't know. That's women for you. All these things I'm telling you is from experience bro. |

casualobserver: Scroll through my posts pre election. Many times I stated how the elections would turn out and why. I got the same abuses are you are giving today. I was right and I will again prove to be right come 2027.
I am analytical, you and your lot are emotional…that’s why you never make progress. Beyond all the noise abuse and propaganda, elections are nothing but simple arithmetic.
I repeat neither Atiku nor Obi will ever become president of Nigeria. They had it o. A platter of gold and they blew it.
Look at the dates, well before the election. I am no genius, I just think analytically not make judgements based on emotion. The reason I can confidently tell you why you lost and why you will lose again is because I know you never use your brains and will always have act out of emotions time and time again. Human beings are very predictable. Winners keep on winning because they think like winners and losers keep in losing because they have the mindset of losers. PDP are losers, their winning era was predicated on an era of rigging with impunity. As it became harder to rig so also their fortunes dived. They don’t have a strategic brain between them all. Anyone with any iota of sense has long left PDP. As for Obidients they are the definition of emotional and brain dead!
July 2022 Oga, I no get time to Dey read what you wrote since 1960, but let me inform you that with the way the country is going and your people banking on Northerners votes in 2027 will be surely disappointed, Whether LP & PDP merge or Not, APC votes will be divided . Just say only your region will vote Tinubu but as for SE, NC and SS is a goner for APC. Parties have learnt their mistakes and they're adjusting. The north has learnt their lesson so Remove your hopes from there. FYI: I have lived in a country where the indigenes of a said capital city said exactly what you're saying (that a peculiar people from another region cannot rule them in their city and country) what happened last?? The same people they said will never rule took power and they are exactly doing the 2nd term now...and probably change constitution for a 3rd term or instal their man.
