genius43: If any android version was a success, why will it get a new version and why are some features in old ones removed? Isn't it part of streamlining?
You can keep your doubts in your wallet. No one is forcing you to update.
FYI: This will be the last time I will be responding to you. you have strength to be replying everyone with response to updates. Just like you, I got my RN5 with miui 9 + android 8 and later updated to miui 10, miui 11 plus android 9 and finally to miui 12, no regrets whatsoever and my phone is now more sweet than when i got it, improvements in all aspects especially camera and performance, I wish we will grace miui 13 also or the already out miui 12.5 but life continues |

genius43: If you recently updated give your device days to adjust to changes force restart your devices severally, I f possible recalibrate your battery (Drain battery and charge from 0-100% switched off)
One thing with these things they might have been there but attention wasn't really paid till when you updated. some people's phobia for updates allows them to only see battery drain when they update not knowing it has been there because of some issues |

quivah: The camera settings are 100% the same cause I checked every nook and cranny to make sure I set mine to the same settings on the blue variant. But no difference what so ever. I even used gcam in both phones, using the same settings still the blue beats the black hands down. It kinda feels like two different phones. From the settings(texts, fonts, some features present in one, absent in the other) to the graphics (one is bolder, clearer while the other seems lighter like it's fading and also smaller even though they are at the same font size. Medium ) to the camera (if the blue is at 90%, the black is at 70%). All at the same settings, themes, and fonts. Even the display settings are the same. Mind you, it's not just my 'black' variant. The guy I saw today using the same variant also lacks some of the features the blue has. And na why I dey rant now be that cause at first, I just accepted that they probably did some mistake with mine lol But now, I feel they intentionally made the black variant this way. from my observations, a lot of system apps are not updated in your black phone (15apss),update them first |

macanthony25: Fact is that i took my RN8 to Raya service centre and was told to pay 62k that the screen and panel are bad,the que now is ,is it advisable to pay that amount or just add it 13k and buy a new one for 75k or look for a good phone engineer in abuja that can fix the phone's screen and panel for less than that 62k? run, I repeat run, Don't know why this people are so bent on over charging people for phone repair, is it that they want you to buy another one or what. |

jboixxx: Hello house and happy 60th Anniversary to us all.
I posted few hrs ago about the service I received from Repairpalng. He did call me this afternoon, apologised for the experience/inconveniences and explained the delivery to the park was via dispatch rider, hence, the ish.
He noted he's learnt from this and promised a better service to all, will retrain his handlers in prompt and efficient communication, and resolution of concerns of his clients.
I wish us all the best of this life/country. I just love this guy
