Is he exclusively breastfed or he's on formula?Try cottonbud wit vaseline and insert into his anus(he mite poo immediately and mite take a few mins to hour), tummy massage too helps wit it
Watch ur diet too, ensure lots of fluid, veg and fruits.
Has nothing to do wit d weight

Good morning sabi mamas,pls my almost 8weeks baby,has not pooped in about 5days now,but he farts and the smell is something else,he stretches like someone that wants to poopoo, I don't know what to do to help him.
Again at birth he weighed 3.7 and at 6weeks he weighed 6.5kg I don't know if it has anything to do with his weight.

Good morning mamas in the house, abeg nurse Kaffy and other sabi mamas, pls I did Cs 4weeks ago,I feel very heavy from my stomach to my waist region which mks walking painful and slow,I hv pains when I walk to a little distance.my stomach is also strong.pls is this normal?I am so worried I thought at 4wks I could hv been very up and doing.pls make Una help a ftm o. @Nurse Kaffy,pls I want to speak to u if you don't mind, pls can u pm me ur digits if it is ok by u pls. I was formally team August,but I went to hospital today,and Dr said that they will not allow me to reach August,so that I don't enter labour cos I hv low lying placenta.pls mamas put me in ur prayers o,that God should take total control and perfect all that he has started o. Hello,biggal from what I got from Google,there is no cause for alarm,they said that it is a normal phenomenon that is like a seizure that happens in babies. Pls you can just type my New born baby jerks and shakes when alseep,is it normal? That was what I typed to see for urself. Pls worry less. All Izz Well.(hugs)I hope this helps

We are in the same shoes o, although I am 38weeks, mine started around 36weeks. My doc said it is an hormone causing my pelvic to shift as the head of the baby drops in preparation for labor. I use about six pillows to sleep right from second trimester but the pain is still there, just avoid walking too fast, bending, squatting to reduce the pain till you give birth. it is well.[/quote]

If you lay on either side with two pillows between your knees and prop another pillow across your chest (so you're hugging the pillow across your side)this helps take the pressure off of your hips. Also, if you get on all fours for about 5 minutes every hour, that should help lighten the load. Try this in the tub as well. The combination of both is very soothing. Hope it helps!
