In regard to your quest in learning programming, I will advice you start with basic algebra, because you will encounter it in your journey as a programmer

Then, start your research in web programming, by exploring how it works. Clients/server architecture. Take time to study the history of the web, who created it and for what purpose.

Then you will find it interesting while learning, it gives you hope and makes you focus in your basic stage.

No one can teach you , all you need to know about the web , it depends on your research.

I've personally never thought of HTML as a programming language

Maybe he meant web document. HTML was developed by Tim Berners-Lee in European Lab for Particle Physics in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1991.

Which was used to access documents on world wide web.
It was only limited to scientist and academics. That's main reason few engineer know more about the web and its components.

HTML5 even comes with few functions. However may not be recognized by older browser.
Javascript is now used to make it functional and more compatible with older browser.

In regard to your question, you can hire professional software engineer to develop a software that runs on the web. That's if you have the fund.

Instead, learn programming languages and develop any software you would like to render as a service, then you can take it public.

If you have the fund, you can advertise it, but if not, seek for investors.

You have become an internet entrepreneur or a business person.

If you understand Object Programming, OOP. You can design libraries of any kind.

Mainly Javascript and C++

Though learning the language and making more research, will help you develop critical thinking while learning.

HTML and CSS with functionality using javascript makes it a dynamic web page.

Let me clarify you. Javascript is dynamically typed because it does not require you to declare a variable with its data type.

C++, Java are static type, because you must specify the data type before you declare a variable.

Hmmm... Interesting and yes they are highly paid globally. I’m just curious what it is like to be a software engineer in Nigeria if they are underpaid or actually getting what they deserve. so what exactly is the concept of software engineering compared to programming language?

For instance, Mechanical engineer knows the different components of the machine, and can identify and fix any problem that comes out.
He knows the technical aspect of the engine. He can repair and fix any issues.

But he's not the one that develop the engine. The scientist or the researchers in that field designed it, and can improve its efficiency.

Software engineer knows how computer program and its components works. He understood how programming language works and can fix any problem with the language.

But he's not the one that design the programming language, the scientist in programming, design and develop the programming language and can improve it.

That's main reason we should invest more on research than just believing one theory.

With out, web browser on the device, they will not function.

Most software applications on smartphones and desktops are web document.

Programming language is more of a research project.
Don't depend on articles on the web.

Involve in a research work and you will discover so many mysterious behind technology.

The white people invest on research, while Africa depends on their work.

We really need scientist and engineer in programming languages, we can equally have our own too.

Sure, Software engineer are highest paid globally. Because their ability to solve critical problems is highly needed.

That you know a programming language does not mean you are an Engineer.

Software engineer knows the technical aspect of computer program. The logic and how every function works.

I have been a scientist and senior software engineer @ diib Nigeria for over 7 years now.

I made my research @ diib Nigeria Research Laboratory,
and have discovered so many mysterious technology behind HTML.

Html is programming language, provided it's a sequence of code that performs a task.
HTML is classified under a Markup Language, because it format how a content should appear on a web browser.

Research showed that HTML is used to create a web document that appear on the web.

MOST app on your smartphone are web document, because they access the internet through already installed default web browser on the device.

The app is a shortcut to access the web, using URL on the web browser..

HTML can be used to develop desktop applications or mobile applications compatible on any device.

HTML does not have limitation in regard to programming.
@ DNRL we have experimented creating software that run on smartphones and desktops using HTML.

MOST folks in Africa, focus on learning programming languages without making research how this language was originally created or developed.

Creating a website using HTML , is the process of developing a software that can run on the web as well as run on Operating Systems.

Examples Facebook, Google, Amazon websites are examples of software that run on the web.

Sure, you can learn any programming languages on your mobile phone, using the required code Editor or IDE.

But to be more flexible, I would recommend desktop Code Editor depending on the programming language.

It help you get focus, and become proficient in typing code using keyboard

My candid advice, is try as possible to learn the architecture of how a computer works.

Learning programming is not the main thing, cus you may not know what to do with it.

Practically involve yourself in solving real life problems using mathematical techniques.

Programming is all about solving problems, become a researcher and develop your analytic skills.

Many programmers in Africa, don't know what to achieve with it, because they fail to understand the architecture of a computer.

Make sure all pages wanted to index is crawl by search engines. Monitor even once a month your index pages and below are the procedure to check;
Search Console (Google and Bing) - Coverage Report
Manual Checking - Insert in Google Search; “site:domain.com”
2. If you have more than hundred of pages, then the XML sitemap is a must. Below is the procedure to ensure the proper handling of an XML sitemap.
Submit XML sitemap in search console (Google and Bing)
Add XML sitemap in robots.txt. Ex. sitemap:https://www.domain.com/sitemap.xml
Make sure your XML sitemap is properly created. Ensure the following;
**Use the standard format of XML URL, avoid dynamic parameters as some tools like search console or diib can’t read the URL correctly. https://www.domain.com/sitemap.xml
