Get a document from them and show it to your land. He will give you a refund when paying your next rent based on the fact that you have cleared the debt before then.

BusinessRe: Was I Scammed By The Bank Or POS Operator? by TimelineMag: 2:56pm On Jul 07, 2023
I have this issue before. Ask the POS agent to print and give to you both copies of the transaction. That is CUSTOMER' S copy and MERCHANT'S copy and you will discover that it was declined in your customer' s copy but successful in merchant's copy. Your money has been debited from your account and retained with the POS agent's account. If POS agents prints out his statement he will see the money there.lt does not need reversal it was retained.
If you go further and ask your bank it showed successful from their end.

I have been trying to get a refund from Jumia for close to two months now all to no avail. Spoken to more than eight of their customer care representative and each time they say the issue have been "escalated " .
Please can any one tell me what l should do or has it become a norm with Jumia Nigeria to hold back customer's refund.
