GOD is miraculous. Am sharing my story to encourage us and believe that GOD has a plan for us all.

I applied online on May 8th 2015 but was denied on July 8th 2015. Reasons ticked were purpose of visit, personal asset and financial status. I was depressed but I still prayed to GOD that may his will be done. I was introduced to a PFL agent who later reviewed my app and brought out some flaws. eg. I filled the TRV form for visiting, the agent also made a statement that there was no interrelation between my sponsor and I. Although I am self funded.

I reapplied on September 16th,see below.
Reapplied paper route- sept 16th 2015
medical call- oct 5th 2015
medical done- oct 6th 2015
approval mail on - oct 26th
Passport dispatch mail on- Nov 5th
TRV pickup- 15 Nov 2015.

All praise to GOD for this miracle. I did police report, I had a letter from my mum saying she knows am travelling and that my aunty will support me, and all funds will be in my account, filled study questionnaire, readjusted my SOP to have Nigerian ties and other strategies.

Thanks. However, the approval mail attachment has a validity period which a day before your passport expiry date. Is this validity period different from the period of the stud permit period?

That's not even a problem. The study permit will be issued to cover the period of study, irrespective of the date on visa. The only issue is the person may not be able to travel outta Canada after his/her visa expires, but the study permit will still be valid and with that he/she can remain legally in Canada.

I think photocopies can be used for paper applications since VFS don't take originals for paper submission again. Originals are only submitted for bank statements. Guess you can use colored printed copy of admission letter.

they send both hard copy by post and soft copy by mail attachment. If applying online then no need for the hard copy. Don't know if photocopies can be used for paper submission.

Thanks for the insight ayooluwatoni, but for paper application, if your medial result is sent, will you receive a mail saying medical has been passed or so?

Wooow. You mean you received medical call within three days? Which hospital did you use. If u check some records of pple who got medical call within three weeks, I think it took another three weeks before they got their approval email.
However, jus keep praying. A lady from an hospital called me yesterday that someone who did medical early last month just got approval email yesterday.

Hmmm, well for me. I wont say u shouldnt email them and i wont say u should email them. I think its Time and Chance. Its all GODs favour my bro/sis. My emailed the accra immigration email address and i also filled 2 case enquiry form.

I was refused oooo. Applied May 8th 2015 online, received response July 8th 2015. I mailed them that my applications was more than 8 weeks some days back tho before they now replied. Reasons for refusal are; 1) purpose of visit. 2) personal asset and financial status. This is also similar to borexio.

I have been following this thread for a long time. Nice job. I applied online and my app is more than 8 weeks now. I mailed Accra immigration no response. I filled a case enquiry for global, no response. I filled a case enquiry for lagos and they replied that my application is processed in Ghana. see attached.

In response to Mighty's post, am just confused. who do we follow now, CIC website or Lagos Immigration who told me my application is processed in Ghana?
