I was refused based on personal assets and financial status. Based on what I’ve learnt on this thread, I believe I have tackled almost everything that could be wrong with the former application. Hoping for the best with the help of God. Scott99tish: Why the rush ? GCMS is the only thing that will tell you the exact reason for refusal, to know how to tackle it rightly…
Well, best of luck on your new application. |

Hello everyone
My application was rejected last month, hot breakfast but I’m about reapplying again. I’m kind of stuck in Limbo. I am being sponsored by my brother-in- law. However, my brother has also transferred some funds into my account and we did a gift deed. Under Education and cost, who should I fill that is paying my expenses. Should I put both of them or just brother-in-law. |

Thanks so much. I plan to do that in my next application Anon123: You are the applicant coming to Canada and as such, you are expected to demonstrate financial capability to study in Canada.
Your sponsor is far away Nigeria, therefore it's not logical your tuition fees and living expenses is dependent on someone not in the same country as you.
You should have had this 2-3m transfer sent to you, attached a gift deed and then submit.
Do not mention your sponsor has kids. It further makes the visa doubt that that 22kcad will actually be made available to you when the sponsor has family and business of his to cater for . |

Thank you I ordered it on Monday. My tuition is 18k dollars, I paid 9k deposit, my brother-in-law presented 22k dollars. He’s married to my sister and they have 4 kids. I didn’t present my personal bank statement because I don’t have any savings there although I have a brother who has said he will gift me money. Like 2-3 million. I don’t know if that will fly ShowYoung: So sorry to hear about your refusal. Please order for your GCMS notes as the first step to tackle the issue of personal assets and financial status.
Although if you provide more information about your application, it's possible the reason for refusal may be obvious, but GCMS notes is the best.
With this kind of refusal reason, you should be happy because you will get the visa by God's grace in your next application if you are able to package your application well: it is very easy to address the issue raised by personal assets and financial status. |

Thank you My tuition is 18k dollars. I paid tuition deposit of almost 9k dollars and he still presented 22k dollars. Although he has 4 kids and of course a wife who is my sister kweje: Dear Timex, So sorry about it. What was your tuition fees? Did you pay any part of it? 22k Cad seems low if that’s all you showed. Did it cover tuition, living exp & misc exp? Does your brother in law have dependents?
While you wait for who can assist you with your application, if you share more details, you could get more ideas on how to repackage.
Lastly order your GCMS notes for the VO’s concerns.
All the best. |

Hi Please can we connect I submitted Feb 6 on the new portal. Eligibility is yet to start. loohlaah: Hello House,
Please do we have anyone here that submitted application in February 2022 and eligibility has started?
This wait is really disturbing.. |

Same here I applied Feb 6 on the new portal and eligibility is yet to start. Just background check. loohlaah: Hello people,
I recently found this thread and it brought back hope to life in me.. I just want to ask how you guys are doing it? Staying sane, keeping positive energy.
I submitted my application with the new portal on 04/02/2022, I got biometrics appointment, did it the following day, it was uploaded 04/03/2022. Since then no update. My Profile is still reading “Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility”. I feel so sad whenever I login and it is still same till date. To make it worse processing time is now 11weeks, yet nothing moves on my profile. I’ve filled web form, April 22, still nothing. My upfront medical is on 18/05/2022.
I see threads where people mentioned, ordering for GCMS, please how do I do that? Then MP, what is MP?
