Unlocked Iphone And Chip
Unlocked Iphones:
A locked iphone is unlocked using
a chip called RSIM,gevey,tpsim
depending on d maker of d chip.
All u need to do is just to place
your sim(Airtel,GLO etc) on d chip
and both together goes into d fone and u av your network. Dat
will make it function like a
factory unlocked iphone as long
as your sim is on d rsim.
The limitation of d chip are:
1. U need to save your nos with +234 or their country codes
when using d chip. if not, ur
saved nos will not show d names
wen they call.
2. When a new major ios is
released ( major ios release is usually done once in a year), u av
to wait till u av confirmed dat d
chip still works on d new ios
before u upgrade in order not to
lock back d device( in most Cases,
even if u upgrade, a new chip will b available to use with d
new ios,except iphone4) Once u are comfortable with
these , u av no issues with a chip
iphone cos everyother feature
that works on a factory unlocked
iphone will also work on d chip
unlock iphone. The advantage of d chip is
obviously d price. U can save as
high as 20k wen u buy an IPhone
using chip.
