NAIRALLANDER:
Are those keloid scars?
yours seems to be like it was caused by shaving.
It started more like just small pimples, after some months it started growing bigger . But the dermatologist placed me on a very expensive antibiotics and steroids too .

NAIRALLANDER:
Hello guys, please I need your help.
I started having acne about 5years ago.
well I looked for different ways to stop it but It just couldn't stop.

When it finally stopped, or should I say reduced, I didn't know my skin was prone to keloid. When the pimples finally started disappearing, it left little scars which turned into what you're seeing in the photos below.
Please I need help or advice on anything I can do to reduce its appearance and make it less noticeable, even if it can't be removed completely.

Please I don't need people telling me " it doesn't matter what people think about you", "Just live with it, there are people whose case are worse than yours". I only need advice. And also is there anyone who can refer me to a good dermatologist so that I can go for laser treatment?

And does anyone know how much laser treatment for this scar might cost? Please forgive my long story, I'm just too self conscious and in dire need of treatment. No insults please, just advice and good recommendations, thank you.
I was in this situation some years back bro I feel your pain . But to be honest remove the mindset of I want a cheap doctor or cheap hospital, that wouldn’t help you . Please see a dermatologist in any good hospital in Lagos ; the one that I used then is very expensive , he use to charge me 1k per visit every month after I paid 5k for medical card . But I must confess after 1 year of treatment and use of herbal soap that I saw on Nairaland here , am not happy with my face . The name of the soap is Medimix Ayurveda soap, it’s an Indian soap .

dont be fooled by this PRs...

kwara is safe because there is nothing to fight for, how pften do you hear of clashes in states like kebbi, nassarawa, or enugu. states with low population, and high poverty level have to be peaceful, if they are not what would they be...

You guys need to visit kwara, to see poverty in the eyes of the people ...

people yearning for freedom but cant fight for it because the only way to survive is to shout Sai Bukky..

he is smart no doubt, but his greed wont make him resourceful
Just like state like Gombe , jigawa, sokoto, Ekiti . Those states are very poor , that’s there’s nothing to fight for . Sometimes I find it hard to believe states like Gombe and jigawa are still part of Nigeria . #NYSCexperience

@op you forgot to tell us how Saraki didn’t bring any tangle investment to kwara while he was the governor for 8 years . The state revenue isn’t even nothing to be proud of, and 85% are civil servant as well . Tell me the job opportunities in kwara today ? Well thanks to Dangote, Tuyil, Luckong, Forgo battery , Samad & KAM ; I don’t think there’s any other big investment in kwara after these that are mentioned above .

I am going to base my answer with the assumption that your "spouse" is a wife.

What every mother wants is the safety and well being of their children. While Nigeria can be a place that can help make US born kids realize the opportunities in the US, it can also be a dangerous place for these kids. This is why a lot of women frown against relocating their children to Nigeria.

So, first thing is the mother needs to be convinced that her child/children will be safe and, that the undertaking will be in the best interest of the kid(s).

But please, if you must send your kids to Nigeria for schooling, you MUST have an unwavering support from your wife, and you should start first by having the kids visit Nigeria, with your wife, once a year, for at least three years. It makes it easier on the little ones.
Thanks for the advice I really appreciate

You are absolutely right.

My wife and I made this decision to bring each of our kids back to Nigeria after their middle school, after we noticed the deteriorating behavior and academics in our first child.

This same child now attend a top 10 liberal arts college in the US (2nd year), while her middle school friends are barely cutting it in community colleges or became dropouts. And yes, she did take SSCE and applied from Nigeria, but as a US citizen.

Entitlement mentality and peer influence are damaging kids' future in the US.
Please I need your advice on how to convince a spouse on relocating your kids to Nigeria particularly when your spouse is a USA citizen or PR who haven’t been to any part of the world except the USA . Please I need your honest advice on this

Once again, your logic makes no senses. When you are in Rome, you do as the romans do. Who bloody cares if you are millionaire in Nigeria, when you living abroad. If you earn $10,000 a year, that a millionaire in Nigeria but that is low income in the U.S. I'm starting some of the posters claim on here because of some you guys make no sense at all.
Mistake $10,000 Is NO INCOME at all in the USA per year .

If you have the kind of money that you can migrate through investment, then why not continue to make that money in Nigeria, then vacation out occasionally? Life is much sweeter that way.

The guidelines: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/immigrant-investor-visas.html

If I had assets of 1million dollars, why the hell will I waste it to immigrate? I can continue to grow my business, employ people locally, and have a much lower cost of living. People will call me sir, carry my bags for me, cook me good food, drive me around, and I can carry olosho without fear of arrest. I can attend weddings, trash talk with my friends at a bush bar, while enjoying our warm weather. If I need healthcare that I can't get in Nigeria, I will travel out. I should go to USA and pay 35% of my income in taxes? I dey mad?
The only part I like for your post na the OLOSHO part . Carry olosho without fear grin ; that’s the one thing that’s will always make naija different

You are wise. They fall out of track in high school because of exposure to hard drugs and other vices.

I am definitely birthing all of my kids in the US or Canada for their citizenship (they will thank me later), then they will head back to Nigeria to be raised according to our culture and traditions. At 16th birthday after secondary school you will learn you are actually an American. After SS3 you can fly into amelika for university education and quality lifestyle.
Yes it’s something to worry about too bro .

It is ill-advised to raise a child in the US for a struggling man.
Bros it’s very risky to raise a child in the USA I no go lie you . The best is give birth to them here , when they are teenagers you can move them to naija make dem suffer small & get sense , then after secondary school move them to USA back . Most kids here fall out of track in High school, and what your child will become in future will always been known when he or she is in high school

Convert some thousands of dollars to naira na.. grin
Convert those dollar too 100 naira / $ .

Naira devaluation is what’s giving Nigerians in Diaspora the spending advantage . If you change naira to dollar to the proper exchange rate which it should be ; you’ll find out they ain’t millionaires.
E.g US dollar to Canadian dollar

Why can't the man be in possession of the child since the mother is financially incapacitated?

Does he have to finance the upkeep of the child and still have him stripped off of him?
Well the reason is because the American law sees the woman as the primary caregiver .i.e the one who bath , cook , clean up , feed and general upkeep of the child . And most employer don’t accept excuse like my pikin sick today , my pikin no chop , my pikin Dey shit etc . So most nursing mothers don’t work till their kids start attending school which is the age of 3 or 4 years . So the state makes it compulsory for the man to provide all upkeep . Some bitches will not even live with you in your house which means you’ll pay your own rent and you’ll still have to pay rent for your baby mama & kids including other expenses too .

I am really interested in the migration through investment, i need to hear more about it
Please invest that your $500,000 in Nigeria than dashing it out to American govt all in the name of citizenship & green card . Have you wondered why the likes of coscharis, Okoya, ibru , adenuga, Otedola etc didn’t do that ? You can never have equal right like born citizens of the USA . Some people try it but it doesn’t really pay off

Man, you become a cashcow to her while she stays at home and earns dollars every month for being a baby mama.

Baby mama is an occupation in the US, I don't understand why male movements are weak in the US and don't do shiit to counter this sad norm that's been passed into lawhuh.

Sex by mutual consent, you get pregnant. You have a child. And I pay all the bills. But no law mandating you to as well pay a fraction for the upkeep of the child.
The father is the role responsibility carrier of the child. And yet they scream to the top of the heavens they are equal to men.

Such equality
It’s mostly shared 70/30 in most states on the USA . Where the women always take advantage of the law is the loophole in the family law . The women always claim they can’t find a job or no employer is willing to give them a job because there’s no one to take their kids to school and pick them up and protect the kids while you’re at work . Most will even claim they don’t trust their nanny who help them stay with the kid, so this usually make the guy pay more money for both child support and spousal support.

@op
Just save up money for your kids and let them study in USA , Canada or Australia. You have a very comfortable life in Nigeria with 3-5m per year; 5m per year is less than $20,000 per annum which makes you fall under low-income category in the USA. So if you migrate with that money you won’t be able to keep up with bills considering the fact that you have kids and a wife .
