What is the point of hustling and making it,when you have no security. No where is safe in the country,be there deceiving yourself. You will still leave you gated estate. Why do you think wealthy Nigerians need convoys to move around.

In the western world even Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg don't move around in convoys.
Bill gate and zuckerberg don’t live with convoys , but I can bet my life that both of them have a stock pile or Arsenal in their homes . In fact , in the USA , 7 out of 10people have guns in their home legally; and the numbers of illegal guns on the street is just uncountable.

You no go understand but to answer your question I have two years green card but hoping to get Canada permanent residence. If you know what trump is doing you will buy urself some sense.

Please how can I get to Canada huh
Don’t get wrong information spreading all around about immigration and all that shit ; as long as you enter the USA legally , you remain in status ,no criminal record etc ; then you shouldn’t have any problems changing your 2years green card to 10years or citizenship. The truth is that most people from South America don abuse the immigration process in the USA , if you think Nigerians Dey violate , please go to Texas , New Mexico or Arkansas you’ll see Watin Mexicans and others from Latin America Dey do . To an extent you can’t blame the Govt, Nigeria govt did the same too during the Ghana must go era .

That not my point... My point is can 78% of naja youth boast their chest that they have 1milliom nira in their account if you follow franknetterF thread he left a restaurant shop for an Amazon job he didn't take him month for him to see another job or he didn't right letter or give bribe
A lot of them in the same yankee, UK and Canada don’t have $1000 in their account also . If you dey doubt me ask any of your friends for yankee for $50 and hear their response , or ask franknetter for $100 and hear his response . The fact is there are plenty jobs in USA , but good jobs are hard to find there also . You have to be ontop of your game to be able to get a 6figure job . Same way in Nigeria as well

Tax rate in high in Canada this is only Federal tax and you have to pay provincial tax which brings it to between 30%-48% depending on your income;
15% on the first $47,630 of taxable income, plus
20.5% on the next $47,629 of taxable income (on the portion of taxable income over 47,630 up to $95,259), plus
26% on the next $52,408 of taxable income (on the portion of taxable income over $95,259 up to $147,667), plus
29% on the next $62,704 of taxable income (on the portion of taxable income over 147,667 up to $210,371), plus
33% of taxable income over $210,371
With this analysis you gave then living in Canada and USA is almost the same ; just that the Canadian govt provide some free stuff for its citizens which is not available in the USA .

Lmao, sad but true. You have so many bills to pay in Canada:car payment, mortgage, insurance, property tax. You are debt free in Canada after 20 to 30 years except you have a household income of $200k plus. The average house price ranges from 300k-400k and the tax rate is 30%- 48% depending on your income.
The only benefit is security and free education for your children and healthcare.
Tax rate in the USA is between 10% - 37% also . And you pay property tax and other county tax too ; Heath care in the USA is damn expensive that many low income people always end up filing for bankruptcy.

Bro that’s very hard . Even if you live in Mississippi the poorest state in the USA it’s still hard ; lots of people below $1000 will one way or the other fall back to food stamp . That’s the honest truth

@op If you can raise 4million Naira in Nigeria in your late 20s or 30s bro there’s no need to move abroad . If you have uncle or Aunty abroad please ask them for $20 or $100 help and hear their response . The fact that they live abroad doesn’t mean they are financially better than you ; 99% of the money they earn abroad is spent on Tax, bills , insurance , rent, health care etc . I’ll advice you set up a small business in Nigeria and if you desire to travel out if the country it’s better you travel to Asia and try to gain first hand experience then you can use your capital to invest in Nigeria or any west African country you desire . There are lots Nigerians in Ghana, Togo & Benin republic doing well

I believe you saw the sarcasm cheesy, but tbh. divorce laws alone favors women and that is why the divorce rate are high from their side. For men, it doesnt work in their favor because most of the time divorce ends in losing their homes and half of their assets or even more. If there are children involved, the woman gets custody of the children most of the time unless there are other circumstances involved.

Do you know Emmanuel Eboue, a former arsenal player. please read his story on how his life got messed up just because of the law in the Western world after a divorce that left him almost penniless.
Emmanuel Eboue screwed himself up big time by getting marrried first without signing a prenup. Lots of footballers and celebrities always have Baby mama all around and never get married to them until they get to retirement age or end of their career. Example Samuel Eto, Akon , Xaxi, etc . He should have known better before putting all his assets in Europe. The best place to invest is Africa if you’re in Europe or America and you make so much money . I read an Article about Akon and really learned one or two thing about the dude .

That’s the Deep South...

Alabama, Mississippi & Louisiana...

I would love to move to California preferably San Diego one day but it’s freaking expensive...

Wonder how you guys manage to pull it off month after month...

It’s just as expensive as living in New York City & Washington D.C.
You better live in New York, Chicago, Washington DC, San Diego etc. and enjoy your life . If you make mistake live for Louisiana, Mississippi or Alabama; you might regret your decision. In fact, most places in Alabama and Mississippi are still rural; boredom fit kill person for here .

CelebritiesRe: Busola Dakolo And Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo Rape Allegation: 5 Shocking Things by Timi1990(m): 5:40pm On Jun 29, 2019
Some women just open their mouth and shout RAPE ! and want the whole world to believe them . She claimed he came to their house early morning and just started raping her ; that’s not right at all. No punch , no force , no hitting on the face , no form of aggression etc haba !!!! . Most men are not saint but rape cases are very difficult to judge as there no witness or 3rd party in the event .

Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola is one of the greatest men that walked upon the surface of this Earth. I stand to be corrected, here in Nigeria, no pastor is as great as he, even till date.

Talk of visible and instant miracles. Talk of the way God used him to cause a revival in christiandom here in Nigeria. He was focused, passionate about Christ with no ulterior motives or vain gain. But his present day followers have mostly waterded down the power and legacy he left behind.

I have no doubts about the healing powers still resident in the environs of his corpse. I amazed though, when you got to the feeling the anointing part. Amazed still, that the water is not bigger than that yet it never dries up. Its been there for decades. Wao!

Ni tooto, Agbara oluwa wa sibe!!!
grin make Una go wake him up nah , make e come revive this dying economy . Smh for all of Una wey believe all these apostles

Please i have a question,
A friend is married to a US citizen. Her husband filed for her to come over. Due to marriage she will be a citizen. The plan is to file for her parents to join her. After which she or her parents will file for her siblings to come to the US. Some of which are married and well into their 30s.
Question is: how can her parents get citizenship by virtue of thier daughter being one? Is it even possible?
Also can she or her parents file for the rest of the siblings?
It's possible but it's takes time and doesn't come with ease . Because she's a citizen doesn't mean she'll invite her parent tomorrow and govt go carry citizenship go give them for house the third day . They have to spend a particular number of days in the USA as resident before they can even be able to apply for citizenship.
RomanceRe: Nigerian Men Abroad, How Did You Choose Your Significant Half? by Timi1990(m): 7:37am On Mar 12, 2019
@op There’s no guarantee in any marriage any where in the world just pray you find the right woman . But if you are unlucky & find yourself in Europe or America where the laws don’t really favour men, abeg don’t be blinded by love; any thing can happen . It’s better to have your own backup plan Incase divorce happens; have your own secret bank account , have your own secret investment outside the country , Load your Naija account wella with Naira , have atleast 1 property in naija or any African country , etc . Even if divorce happens and you’re to share your property with your spouse ,pay alimony & child support you’ll be able to fall back on your investment . A word is enough for the wise .

Look, governments past and present have not done well...but me, I have stopped blaming government solely since 2014....when people like GEJ's minister of power started explain things.

The truth is, until DISCOS are allowed to set prices for what they sell..and are no longer forced to sell at a loss....we are not going to fix power. Yes, Government is making a mistake...but it isnt the way you think.

And until those of our countrymen and women too who don't pay for power start paying as well...and government pays its debts....power is not going to do well.

Its a harsh truth.
People who don’t pay for power ain’t the problem; if you no buy recharge card for phone how you wan call . A friend of mine went for a training in Southafrica and decided to enter Burundi for the weekend ; this small country have 24hrs power supply and they use almost the same type of prepaid meter we use in Naija . So once you exhaust your credit you just go to any store and buy the card , activate it and slot it in your meter . So the Govt needs to do more for our economy to grow and develop

DISCOS charge far less than that...which is why things are not better.

The FG forces them to charge that low because if they completely deregulated...power bills would shoot up...and politicians will lose their jobs.
The whole prob is still from the selfish Govt
