I pity you......right from here in New Jersey. I pray they give you that visa while you are still young enough to come, see and change your mindset.

Wish you luck.

You that you already have your visa, why can’t you leave Europe or America and move back to either Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Somali , Congo etc . Be honest for once ; the fact is y’all work your ass off to make money and you one way or the other enjoy good basic social amenities. Those things you enjoy either free or at high price are luxuries in Nigeria and not even available.

This topic is full of babies with infant brains. Make all of una shut up. Nigeria is bettet than every single country on earth but you blind donkeys have been brainwashed for decades by the lies of hollywood. No Nigerian living in America can claim to be happy. They all regretted moving to that shithhole. Now they are stuck because they got nothing to show for their misadventure

grin wait till you get your Dubai visa first before you say no Nigerian living in the USA is happy . Bro for you church mind you self go know say your parents Bleep up big time as dem born you for Naija. Even those Nigerians working as cleaners, house help, maid, barber, hair stylist etc won’t dare tell you they’re better off living in Nigeria; because they work hard to earn money in Europe & America and they enjoy basic amenities in return; even though it’s expensive. So No Nigerian will prefer to live in Nigeria where there’s no health care system in place, electricity, security, jobs and also stable government. My brother hustle oooooo, make you no dey see this shithole called Nigeria as better place.

When people take their time to give a robust response that more than addresses the question asked, you folks would still come up with these your easy out questions. It is not hard, go and try your luck, the person you are asking didn’t appear before the VO without writing a standardized exam. You guys should learn to ask reasonable questions.

You can deceive some people but not everyone, in your books, it is only the CGPA and standardized tests that the adcom considers to make admission decisions. You failed to give the specifics of your case and the fact that no two candidates are the same. There are types of scholarships, what you are being encouraged to seek is not a GA position. Scholarship played the final role in my decision to select my school. Despite getting a $65,000 scholarship from Northeastern, I turned them down because I got a GA in my present school.

I have been required on several occasions to enter my GMAT scores when applying for jobs. An interviewer in London had once told me that getting a GA position was no small achievement, I guess she said so because it is not common to get a full scholarship in the UK. The point is, you are better off with a standardized test. The assumption here is that those aspiring to school in the US want to get a job post-graduation, no be to come dey struggle. So, everyone should check the necessary boxes to clear all doubts. That leads me to my next story.

I took the TOEFL yesterday in preparation for a fall 2020 admission. I want to change careers. I met a Naija guy who told me that I was wasting my money, he is a permanent resident. All he had for me was bad news, of how I will not get a job after my program because his friend is stranded in the US after his MBA. He didn’t allow me to say anything because he thought he knew more than I do because he is a PR.
I told him that unlike his friend, my MBA program is STEM-designated and I wouldn’t be needing the 3 years for OPT because I would get my GC few months after my graduation. He asked if it is through marriage, I show him my wedding ring and told him I am married. I told him about the EB3 visa, he didn’t know what it is. While we were on it, his ride came and he left immediately.

Please if you are coming here on F1 and you have $24,000 to spare, you can get the GC before graduation. The entire process takes about 14 months. I didn’t know this when I came else I for don file my i-485 by now. I remember someone here last year saying that he’ll soon get his GC and it is not through marriage, he was a master's student. I strongly believe he was referring to this route.

Update.

I got a couple of PMs which I believe are as a result of the EB3 i mentioned in this post. Ask all your questions here, It will be here for everyone to see and learn from. I know a couple of Nigerians that have used the same route to get the EB3 and some are in the process. My surprise is that everyone kept a tight lip. It was one of my Asian friend that told me about it.

EB3 , H1B, E34 , EW4 etc are not reliable any longer. There’s already a bill in the house on how to handle all these ; definitely the rules will be more tighter than before . Even the marriage route , there’s also new rules coming .

That’s the problem with American justice system, most of them are not going to serve more than 3 years in jail and they are back at it again.

Your right, but the justice system is always giving a second chance to everyone regardless of the crime you commit. Sometimes even the jury is always confused on what to do when it comes to situations like this . If you lock them up for life in prison others will work on the loophole and upgrade their cover up tactics, therefore more businesses will fall victims again . And if you let them out after few years some might go back to the same crime again . This is the problem the justice system is facing with drug dealers, hackers and cyber criminals.
Politics / Re: Dual Citizenship: Senate President, Speaker Risk Losing Seats by Timi1990(m): 3:19pm On Aug 25, 2019
tck2000:
I don't really understand this.Does it mean that a Nigerian who married an American an acquired a US citizenship cannot contest for The Nigerian Presidential Seat?

Let demonstrate a scenario here ... Akin a Nigerian married Ashley an American in Lagos and they live in Lagos ; akin can contest for senate president or any position. Akin & Ashley are married and both lived in the USA , if Akin is just a Green card holder then Akin can contest for any political seat in Nigeria. Akin & Ashley are married and both lived in the USA , but akin applied for citizenship in the USA & was granted; then Akin won’t be able to contest in Nigeria. Thus, if Akin & Ashley have a baby boy named Tobi; if Tobi was born in either Nigeria or USA & held both Nigerian & USA passport then Tobi can be a senator in Nigeria & in the USA as well . Davido, Wale & jidenna are good example

So in essence, the good ones should suffer because of the bad eggs? The whites that carried out slave trade and contributed to this our present day crisis, why ain't they suffering the consequences? Our forefathers contributed their own quota in building the foundation they have today. Bruv, I don't even want to delve into history. The point is... one can implement a way for the good and genuine ones to have a chance.

E.g The SDS programme/initiative for Canada applicants from India. Why can't it be implemented in Nigeria too? We shouldn't pay for the sins of others!

Forget about slave trade or colonialism era. A lot of African countries like Ghana, Cameroon, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Gambia etc all experienced the slavery too , but you don’t see them engaging in Human trafficking, Drugs & cyber crime the way we Nigerians engage in all these activities . The point is the idea of quick money is what is motivating all these crime both in Nigeria & in diaspora; POVERTY is the only thing that brings shame to an average Nigerian .

Who spends time punching keyboards when you can apply supernatural means to hypnotize victims and hasten your delivery? Back then in the university, a colleague travelled to a distant place to get a special horn that would be used on a "stubborn client."

With that horn you can control whoever you want to do your bidding by just speaking into it. It was until he finally succeeded that I believed that juju actually works. That's why when I hear people doubt the potency of black magic, I just laugh. Truth is, there are no Yahoo boys, just some bunch of fetish guys with laptops.

Those bunch of idiots should be using the juju on senators and house of rep members they vote for who are just chopping their money , instead of innocent oyinbo people

Thank you.

Just go to ets website and fill out the form and make payment with debit or credit card or your cousin can make the payment for you . If you’re doing it yourself in Nigeria , then you’ll have to use your bank debit card and make payment @ bank exchange rate.

Not more than 360/$ . If they charge you more than 360/$ rate , then go to a registered BDC and buy from them. BDC sell @ 359/$ - 360/$.
