This is a popular question among bloggers, i deliberately brought out this question to give my own answers with 5 years experience with blogging.

bloggers thinks longer articles(500-1000 words above) get rank than shorter articles( 100-200 words) and this discourage people to start blogging.
people always say long articles are been index and rank faster than short articles............but Google don't care all they need is what your users like. if you write 10000 words and users just get scared and log out that means your bounce rate has increase and Google will regard your website to be less important. i have little idea with blogging so i can tell users love articles with nice and many photos to feed their eyes not articles. they love brief article to read and move to another. they are some people who just wonder what appears to them from Google and they just select randomly with post with attractive pictures. for instance i search for the term " Rolando" and i saw many post about Ronald that ranked first page, but i may likely click on the one with the photo of Ronald, that is the fact.

take www.quora.com for instance ( a question and answer website) but yet they have higher page rank than bigger website with lots of large articles. take NL also, have seen a lot of short article in fact question but still yet get ranked. what Google cares is correct keywords,tags and users reactions.

to be honest have Google around uncountable times and i can count how many times have seen post from articles directories which is filled with long articles. and many people wast their time submitting articles to those website hoping they will rank first page but forgetting their articles will be regarded as duplicate content because so many people if not thousand will copy that articles to their blogs. Google cant detect the right author of an articles unless you have a Google authorship website. other people will take your credit and keep you hoping you will have good back links.

i just discovered a good trick on how to steal $500 into your real Forex account.
but am not assuring any body 100% but my friends i told did it and it works, but remember such things don't last long so act fast.

i just sign up in a new broker recently and i notice that they offer demo account, so i was talking to my account manager on phones then i asked him that can i test their broker he said yes, and i was happy he told me to open a demo account but i lied to him am having some server error that he should put it directly to my real account, so he agreed. it is called TEST DEPOSIT. so after he deposit the text deposit i could see it live in my real live account. i was happy then i ask him if i can withdraw it he said NO, i taught for some while and i decided to trick them. after a week trading with the TEST DEPOSIT i deposited $500 and i continue trading for two weeks, then i asked my account manager i will like to withdraw he said no problem. i was thinking i will not be able to withdraw the TEXT DEPOSIT. to my greatest surprise i receive all the money. in total was now $3210 in my zenith account.

so what am i saying, is that u can request for text deposit and trade it for a week and make a real deposit trade for another two weeks and u will be surprise they can not notice again because their are any trading history.

but note: don't ask your account manager stupid questions because he can notice u that u want to spam then, be careful. look real to him and never agree with him to open a demo account.

the maximum he can give u is $500, he will first say $100 don't agree say u trade big lot and request for $500, don't trade any how oh because he might not give u again.

if u follow all instruction carefully u will be able to withdraw your text deposit along with your initial deposit together but please and please u must be trading. or rather after he gives u the test deposit to be more safe just deposit and trade all together may be only 10 lot and request for withdrawal and run don't go back again ooooo, they will catch u.

i know there are so many website and blog owners who fine solution to get traffic to their website.
but people get the wrong idea, you cant expect your website to rank first page after a week or two of publication.

people claim they can offer Google first page even does website who called their self SEO, they will just help to harm your website because they will not offer quality back links.......does kind of website have millions of website so they will just summit link to them.

there are some practices we call SEO aggressive when people fight with all means to have back links, they will see a thread talking about sport they will comment website link of religion tell me why you will not have bounce rate.

getting traffic is simple with the quality once is hard, if your website or blogs has so many bounce rate am sorry Google will never rank you.

although you can rank with a SEO expert but the chances are narrow.
below i will tell you the unnecessary efforts:

1. don't border submitting to millions of website directories: it does not make any difference, some even ask for annual fee. even if you don't summit Google will still index your website provided you have a link to a website Google has already index.

2. back linking: people just wast their time back linking, too much back links may be considered as a spam. some people will flood their Facebook home page with links, unnecessarily comment on forums. linking more than 10 links will be considered as spam for a day.

3. free articles: people deceive there self's to collect free articles from article directories knowing they are millions out there that already has such articles, thinking Google is a fool will then index your duplicate content. instead after taking any article do a little adjustment. you can rewrite those articles and check with Plagiarism Checker to know how many duplicate content it has.

for now i will be done with those above three to know some SEO practices are just time wasting, i will summit part 2 of post soon!
