treesun:See a hypocrite talking. Is it not Atiku that sold Nigerian assets to family and friends when Obasanjo make him to be in charge of privatization as the Vice President. And he went on to defend himself selling our commonwealth assets to family and friends. To confirm, go and read Obasanjo’s book for detailed information. |
FreeStuffsNG:Where is the gap tooth PandoraObi. He needs to comment on this oo, Obizombies, please call your leader attention to this. |
lexy2014:No, your assertion is not correct in that OVH is now owned by the NNPC. The lawsuit was to rectify the consolidation and having done that, now have it declared that OVH is now under the control of NNPC. |
Phonebook4122:Just like I thought, ObiZombies’ lack of comprehension will play into this. If only you can read, it clearly stated that this transaction took place in 2022. OandO is not owned by nor did President Tinubu has any share in the company. But as usual, they have to implicate the President to suit their narrative. |
haphizz57:The price per liter is not shown on the receipt, I would gladly have posted it but it’s the NNPC station at Maryland, fill up my Toyota Tacoma for N47,200. This save me about N10,000 from what I paid to fill up same truck in Delta on Tuesday |
Visage24:BUYER BEWARE. DON’T SEND MONEY UNTIL YOU GET THE PRODUCT. AND DON’T COME BACK HERE TO COMPLAIN THAT YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED. |
mbahdi:Oga cursive mouth. I just bought fuel for N568.00 per liter here at Maryland Lagos. As they say, a curse without a cause will not stand but revert back to the sender - mbahdi. |
politicoNG:Good for you, clap for yourself. Under Tinubu, you no longer have access to free money in the guise of oil subsidy and fake supply invoices. Mtcheww |
onuman:Wail on onuman! Wail on man from the land of rising wailers!! |
iwaeda:NNPC management staff needs to be sacked immediately. These people are incompetent and full of lies. To supply ordinary petro always is a challenge for them. |
RuggedBiafran:No be u bring your fraud Biafra into the discussion? |
RuggedBiafran:As common with the people from the land of rising wailers, ruggedbiafra an empty barrel making the loudest noise. Come to Lagos now and see yourself and your people running and absconding like your absentee warlord that abandon the troop during your ill conceived Biafra war. |
Jefferyzz:It’s about $1400 which equals N2.255M |
RuggedBiafran:All Chinese companies assets in Nigeria should be vandalized and gutted to send message to China that their companies cannot colonize Nigeria again. This is what protesting about but those clueless leaders of the protest and zombie followers will not because there sponsors have vested interests in these Chinese companies. |
KEVIND:Nasir and all disgruntled and disgraceful ex dishonorable Honorables will soon rush to join them. |
ogugwa1992:Not surprised where the man Osuji come from. But then due diligence is also required of investors. |
idahme:You need to ask your village people if you haven’t collect your own envelope |
Johandel:It’s obvious you can’t read English not to talk of comprehending it, nincompoop johandel |
PlayMaker14:Typical Obizombie from the land of rising waikers. |
BeeBeeOoh:PandoraObi, the gap tooth propaganda deceitful liar. You want explanations, Reno Omokiri provides an explanation below: Dear Daily Trust, Please fact-check me: You deliberately omitted to tell your readers that the U.S. has ordered a new Air Force One from Boeing, at the cost of $3.9 billion, which is over 300 times the cost of Nigeria’s new Presidential Jet. You also failed to inform your readers that it costs $177,843 an hour and $2,964 every minute for the US Air Force to maintain the current Air Force one that President Biden uses, which, when you calculate the yearly cost is more than the $100 million Nigeria spent on the new Presidential Jet. Finally, you additionally failed to tell your readers that the Presidential Aircraft that crashed and killed President Ebrahim Raisi of Iran was an old one, and that it was better serviced than Nigeria’s old Presidential Jets. Daily Trust, what do you want to achieve by this mischievous reportage filled with half-truths? You have a nasty habit of attacking every Southern President. You did the same things to Presidents Obasanjo and Jonathan, deliberately suppressing information and projecting only propaganda that would undermine their administrations. Yet, you spent eight years being General Buhari’s apologists. What is your agenda? Do you want President Tinubu to die like President Ebrahim Raisi of Iran? God forbid! #TableShaker https://newsdirect.ng/reno-omokri-exposes-daily-trusts-hypocrisy-over-new-presidential-jet/ |
RuggedBiafran:You and your co wailing wailers from the land of rising wailers Biafra republic are the biggest scam, drug lord, kidnapping. The land full of many vices. |
BrighterSyde:BrighterSyde, it’s obvious you lack comprehension. Go back and read my write up, this time slowly. Maybe, just maybe you will understand what I said before your vituperation |
lexy2014:Please go and argue with the Cable or your ancestors |
amodu:This is government in action at the grass roots level. |
Racoon:With this kind of data, some nincompoop that has no sense and sensibility was demanding that subsidy should be reintroduced in full as part of their demand during the ill conceived protest. |
treesun:This Sowore of a man is a dunce. The government is subsidizing the fuel so as to keep the cost of fuel down at the pump station, if not the fuel price will be higher. Yet, you are the same useless man that called for a protest that failed because you want the fuel price to come down. The aim of your protest was regime change and spineless you were used as a pawn in the willing hands of those that lost the election in a democratically conducted voting but calling for military to take over or the foreign country to invade Nigeria. |

The thing with PandoraObi is that, he is quick to blame everything on someone else, but what is his contribution to education as a governor. Yes, a new Nigeria is possible and feasible but that will not include him been at the helm of affairs of any tier of the government not even at the Local government level because it is so obvious that he has nothing new to offer Nigeria other than same level of corruption and lack of insensitivity to the needs and aspirations of the common man. |
ricson11:See another dishonorable Honorable and some useless nonentity will be supporting this one. |
ElevationD:The only issue that matters to me is the case between Utomi and Amosun. No more no less. Utomi stated his case, Amosun rebutted. Case closed. You can call me armchair whatever, I am not egoistic like Utomi. In Nigeria, we are too quick to call someone an expert even in the field that the person did not have any knowledge of. I don’t know either of them to hold brief for either one, Any other discussion on Amosun, Daniel, the Chinese company, is irrelevant to me. I don’t have any regard for the dishonorable Honorables that worshipped whites and are been used to siphon money from our collective commonwealth as long as they get their percentage. |
iwaeda:Oga Archbishop, it’s people like you that have contributed to the adult delinquency of these dishonorable honorables. Where were you when the country was been plundered, you remain silence as long as the envelope reached your pocket. Now you are inciting the youths, congratulating them for the destruction of properties, loss of lives and loss of economic value in the country during the protest. Why not lead the protest yourself and bring back all your children from overseas to come and join you in leading the protest. The youths are wiser and they don’t want to be used as a pawn to achieve some people parochial self interest agenda. |
ElevationD:Oga ElevationD, I am not talking of his educational credentials. I have my PhD in Engineering at age 22, was a full tenured professor in US university before 30-yrs old. And I resigned early (from a tenured position, I hope you know what that meant)at 45 to start my own engineering consulting firm in the US many years ago. All his appointments that you mentioned are political appointments. The man was part of the management team of a car assembly plant in Nigeria and he and his team ran the company down. He is class conscious and he think he is an expert in all things and needs to be regarded as such. I have no problem with that but when he now talks about his experience in Ogun State as if he is a victim and Omosun came and refuted his allegations and lies. I posted it intentionally because I first read his piece, knowing his antecedent, I know he is economical with the truth. What both the ex-governors said was in respect to the Chinese company and not Utomi. Let Utomi respond to Amosun. Or has he appointed you as his mouthpiece? |
FreeStuffsNG:I know this class conscious arm chair professor is economical with the truth. See Amosun’s right of reply and balance it up. In a reaction to Utomi’s allegations, Amosun, on Sunday, according to The Niche, narrated that before he came into office on May 29, 2011, the Ogun State House of Assembly had blacklisted Utomi. Amosun said, “Before I came into office, the Ogun State House of Assembly had passed a persona non grata on Utomi, and put its resolution in the state’s black book. “So, I was curious when I became governor and called Utomi to ask what the issue was. This was entirely at my discretion and not because he reached out to me. But I reckoned that as one with some degree of name recognition, that should not be, and I wanted to know what happened. “He, however, told me, amongst other things, that there was an ongoing construction in an Ogun State property that had become controversial.” Amosun stated that he sent his team for an assessment of the land and that after the necessary evaluation, the team concluded that the land was valued at N50 million at most, which was against Utomi’s claim of N200m. “I immediately raised a team for verification and to know what to do. The team I sent said the land was inappropriate because the said construction was being done in the car park of the Ogun property on Mobolaji Bank Anthony Road in Lagos State. My team then suggested somewhere else. “But he didn’t want another place because, according to him, the place in question gave more visibility. After our in-house assessment, my team concluded he could not have spent more than N35m or at most, N50m on the construction as of then. At that point, I decided to visit myself. “In addition, it was discovered that the so-called work done was hurriedly executed in the wake of the realisation that another political party had won the governorship election and would take over the reins of leadership in the state,” the ex-governor said, Amosun recalled that he decided to give Utomi N100m to avoid the latter’s “investment in the state” going to waste, “It was also obvious that what was being attempted was a move at ambushing the state government under my watch and presenting us with a Fait Accompli, a situation that would have generated a controversy about the demolition of an ongoing project. “Just so that his investment in the state would not go to waste, I committed to making a refund of N100 million as against his claim of N200 million. He pressured me ceaselessly to pay him N200 million, but I did not yield,” he added. Amosun noted that while Utomi tried to “sway” him by using “his Centre for Value in Leadership, CVL, through the instrumentality of an Award,” he rejected the offer. He added, “At first, it all looked curious that I’d just been in office for about two years, and here I was being given an award, so I rejected it. “But he insisted that I honour his CVL Solutions Conference Series with my presence, which I did, and I was given a plaque for participating. However, I did not change my position on the refund of N100m as against his N200m claim. “A few years later, he complained to some people with the sole intent to malign me. When I heard, I called to tell him off because his problem was purely one of entitlement mentality. He even boasted, asking me: ‘Do you know who I am?’ Imagine! But I ignored him because I immediately saw through his true colour. In my book, it’s one law for everyone, no matter who you are.” The ex-governor noted that Utomi “is not different from Zhongfu International Investment FXE. He knows he can not lay claims to any lawful damage done to his investment. All he has tried to do is a ‘me too’, which is very disgraceful.” |
