A protest by a family, less than 10-people makes a front page, simply because it came from Sowore.

The other point is that, see how a protest should be. The sidewalk was not blocked, not to talk of blocking roads or access to buildings and offices. That’s how the protest should be in Nigeria. Hopefully, the leader of the protest and their zombie followers learned a thing or two from this.

In as much as I agree with you about the economic hardship in Nigeria, I refuse to believe that an able-bodied YOUNG man should resove to begging for close to years if not more! No one, including me is against peaceful protest. However, most of the protests in Nigeria have as their aim to incite people to violence and not peaceful. When protesters start blocking roads and access to offices, and then attacking those that do not share same view as theirs from going about their daily business, they are in effect and intentionally inciting violence and have also infringed on other citizens right.

For your ignorance mind information, any and all protests in the USA, Police are also deployed and ready to enforce human rights and because the protesters know the boundary, they do not and cannot trample nor infringe on the rights of other citizens. That’s how protests are done in civilized countries. Latest example will be after the last Presidential election in the USA, the protesters went of bounds and vandalized government properties, the ones that were not civil among them were prosecuted and jailed multiple years as a deterrent. Nigeria need to do the same.

Those organizing protests in overseas countries like in the USA should educate their colleagues on holding protests in a civilized country. Those in the USA dare not block roads, side walks, offices, parks, etc or damage people’s property or else they will be held liable and end up in jail. Hence, tell your brothers and sisters in Nigeria to do the same and not infringe on their citizens right to free movement. These people, the so-called organizers of the protest are nothing but jokers and clowns. The leaders should just make sure that they bring their children, siblings and parents to the protest site while the followers (or zombies) should also come to the protest site with their children, siblings, parents and village people while demanding same from the leaders. Now, both the leaders and followers should ensure that they are not trampling nor infringing on other citizen’s right to go about their daily business by not blocking roads, acccess to buildings and offices.
