I can't say how much gtb charged per dollar so the figures I'm giving u is charges inclusive:

Visa fee:$459=N168,465.21
Health insurance:$308.25=113,135.76
Priority charge:£184=N91,014.68

He submitted and did his interview on the same day the 5th of dec...
Message came in from TsL on Monday that decision has been made
And yesterday another mail for pickup...

Though the stupid boy said the interview ddnt go well at all, at all, he was just saying nonsense, so I was already getting him ready for a re-appeal or re apply, but God pass me.....the lucky dude just strolled in with a bottle of andre...

Its as simple as going into a bank and telling them you want to pay for tuition abroad. You get to fill a form A. That's what the form is called.

Also I don't think its advisable to get the money in your account bit by bit. You don't have time on your side considering Jan 22 is your enrolment date.

I got a mail this afternoon. The date on the tracer is 27 Nov while the one on my receipt is 21 Nov. Apparently, they have been checking the wrong date. No thanks to ****** bank that did rubbish.
The school said they will check and get back to me tomorrow.

Hi guys please I need your help. I paid my tuition on 21st November and I have obtained the tellex (receipt) from the bank.
Having started the process of obtaining my CAS, I sent the document to the school.
I got a mail from my school that they have not receive my tuition deposit and that I should tell my bank to place a trace on my transaction.
I went to the bank and I was given a document (I suppose that's the tracker) and I just sent that to my school.
Has anyone experienced this and how can this issue be solved quickly so I can obtain my CAS and apply for my visa before the Yuletide comes fully.

Different schools have different rules ... some schools just issue CAS without asking for bank statements or properly scrutinise the documents sent by students before issuing CAS (although this is chabging now as the home office is making sure the school do detailed check on the students documents before issuing CAS).

These are the options;

(1) I will suggest you tell your aunty to move the money to your parents account (reason for this is that your parents having that huge amount of cash is not going to be a problem since they will assume they are working). All you will need is to submit your Birth certificate and your parents write a letter permitting you to use the funds in their account.

OR

(2) you can move the money to your personal account BUT If you just finished from school and you have that amount of money in your own personal account, they may start asking questions depending on the ECO that handles your case. Also transfer of a lump sum to your personal account will raise a red flag.

[/b]If you decide to go with option 1 which I always strongly recommend for people who just left school, remember to submit your birth certificate and a letter MUST be written by your parents confirming that they have given you full access to the funds for your maintenance while studying in UK[b]

[/b]Also, due to fluctuating rates, try and add extra money in your account during the 28 days counting period just to be safe.[b]

I inquired from my school and they require a 28 day statement before I can get a CAS.

Did you follow this page very well before starting your application process? The rule is that you can only use your own personal account or Parebts account (of which you must show both certificate to prove relationship) OR use a legal guardians account.

When would your school resume? If there is still time, let your aunts move the funds to your own account and start counting another 28 days.

In fact, if your school checks your bank statement and see that there is no relationship, they may not grant you your CAS.

Thank you. Am sorry I didn't follow this thread from the beginning. I can tell her to transfer the funds to my account for the 28 days statement for my visa application. But the statement that I need to send to my school, it doesn't have to be a 28day duration abi? Shebi its just a statement with a sufficient closing balance?
BTW my school resumes January but I don't want to waste precious time considering the time Visa processing takes.
