He dropped the knife and screaming and fainted ..

I just say down waiting for police to come being a black man I felt if I run they would turn the case ..

It was self defense sha but one stupid white officer said I could be charged with excessive use of force ...

I don't know why some guys can be so insecure.

That was how a guy knocked on my door by 6:30am telling me how he 's in love with me bla bla bla. I gave him the benefit of doubt and was accomodating. I listened to all he had to say and told him to give me time to process everything. And we should start from being friends first since I basically know nothing about him. Only that day, 12 missed calls. Demanding midnight calls too

Only for him to visit me the next day again. After talking and everywhere went quiet for a while. I took out my phone and was texting my friends. Oga started asking me "why I was chatting with another man in his presence?". I thought it was a joke o but he even wanted to know who I was chatting with, man or woman . That I m disrespecting him.
I just got fed up and showed him the door.

Application period

The application period is annually around January – it is not possible to apply in other times.

The 2022 application period ended on 19 January at 3 pm. The next application period will be in January 2023. The application is done online at studyinfo.fi during the application period.

NB! The application requirements vary between programmes! Always check the requirements before applying.



Language requirements

In order to prove your language skills you usually need to take an international language test such as TOEFL, IELTS or PTE. See the details about accepted ways of proving your language skills and minimum test scores on the website https://www.utu.fi/apply



Tuition fees and cost of living

Tuition fees will be charged from citizens of a country outside the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland.

Tuition fees will not be charged from citizens of EU/EEA/Switzerland nor from holders of certain residence permit types: https://www.utu.fi/en/study-at-utu/scholarships-and-tuition-fees

The amount of tuition fee is EUR 2000-13 500 per year, depending on the programme.

In addition to the possible tuition fee, all students must pay for their course books and other materials, accommodation and living expenses.

Scholarships

We offer generous scholarships for students who are subject to tuition fees. The scholarship covers either 100% or 50% of the tuition.

Up to 30% of those who have to pay tuition fees can get a scholarship.

The University also offers the Finland Scholarship for the best applicants who are admitted to Master’s degree studies at the University of Turku. The Finland Scholarship covers the tuition fee and includes a separate 5,000 € grant for expenses in starting the studies in Turku, Finland.

The application for scholarship is done at the same time and using the same form as the application for the study place.

The criteria for the scholarship are the same as for admission in general: Scholarship holders are decided based on the success in previous studies, suitability of the previous degree and, in some cases, their motivation.
